Energy Healing Books

I've read many self-help, spiritual guidance books, and listened to many tapes, but this set really struck a positive note with me and I found myself listening over and over again. You can't go wrong with these tapes, for yourself or a loved one who is struggeling with health or life issues. Ron's oratory is laced with humor and compassion, using stories from his own life to bring out a point. This set of tapes is a winner and my favorite of all of his, including those he's done with Carolyn Myss.

This is THE book I've been looking for for over 16 years since becoming more spiritually aware just after college.

I was first drawn to purchase this book based on a description that there was a chapter describing how the soul enters the body; I knew I needed to read this book, now. I had a VERY similar experience as Dr. Meg describes in this particular chapter (through a Reiki Master who connected with my third child waiting to be born), and was absolutely so excited when I read of Dr. Meg's experience.

I'm not sure how else to convey that this book is a must-have, except that it feels incredibly truthful and right to me--and I have many many spiritual books and consider myself to be very connected and aware. This is definitely a keeper and I highly recommend this!

I have studied Qi gong for many years, and have read many books on it...most I have found lacking. But this book seems to have a profound spiritual basis and I have discovered wonderful things in it that i have not elsewhere. The critical problem this book suffers from is that it is a narrative style only...there badly needs to be a didactic picture and instruction section. This could be done separately as a workbook, but as it is, I'm having to go through slowly and create cards/diagrams that I can follow, based on the text. But it is worth it...I believe that this book contains many 'secrets' of Qi Gong practice...I encourage the author to produce an illustrated step by step manual to help us out!!

Life energy is something so common to us, so prosaic, that most of us don't even realize that it has its name and lot more behind. Time from time we meet it, lacking the energy to fulfill our daily tasks, so we go and rest a while. But we can do much more. Life energy, called qi or ki is not something, that only weird martial artist can work with. It flows through our bodies, regardless the veins and organs - it has its own paths, our places of gathering. It is a key thing of all eastern medicine and the concept of self healing, a door to stimulating our bodies and souls, something that simply anybody could work with to feel better, or more. After a short and rational explanation of what ki is, where it comes from and to where it flows, author shows easy-for-anybody exercises. To get it work you have to do one single thing - practice it. Not many books like that, really!

I was very depressed over the past two years and didn't know what to do. Also, my weight problem went over the roof, I went from 109 lbs to over 140 lbs in half year. I bought this book because a friend of mine has taken Master Bai Yin's class in Germnany before and she recommended that I gave it a try. I followed the book and practiced for three months, and now my weight dropped down to 114 lbs and I feel great about myself. I didn't know anything about Natrual healing therapy before and didn't believe in it either, but this time I have to say that it really works. The great thing about this exercise is that it doesn't take much of your time. I usually practice 5 to 10 minutes a day, and feel all energetic afterwards. So I recommend that this is a great book for anyone with a busy lifestyle.

This is typical Ken Cohen. I like his medatiaions and these are no exception. Worth buying

Intreging book for people that are interesed in energy work. Requires some prior knowledge of fundamental principles of the energy of the body. I found it very interesting for my personal quest of the purpose of life.

This is another great book by Davis and Rawls. Davis and Rawls have spent many years attempting to inform the world of their discoveries. In fact, that was the purpose of their books in the first place.

The scientific community can be quite slow and stubborn when it comes to adapting new revolutionary discoveries. Egos, financial interests and a belief that if it can't be found in established textbooks than it can't be true, are some of the biggest reasons why.

Nikola Tesla, the brilliant scientist who is the founding father of modern electrical technologies, among other world altering discoveries, had a difficult time trying to convince scientists of the true potential of his inventions. As the acceptance and understanding of his work grew in the scientific community, a growing number of its' members, some previous co-workers included, layed claim to several of Teslas' original discoveries.

Many other scientists and inventors have had similar experiences, like Davis and Rawls. Just as Tesla's inventions have had a dramatic impact on the world, so too will those of Davis and Rawls. Their discoveries have already been in use for decades in several countries around the globe, but the enormous benefits of their proven and independently verified research are still largely unknown and unused.

Reiki and Sound includes both a small book about healing and a CD of associated music. The book is a wealth of knowledge about Reiki and energy healing in general. There is a very good description of what Reiki is, what it does, the history, and how one goes about practicing Reiki. Those new to Reiki will find a very good base of knowledge on these subjects.

However, the thing that impressed me most about this information was its sensibility and straight forwardness. As a Reiki Master in multiple Reiki variations, I have read so many books that try to either make Reiki sound like magic or that try to overly complicate the process. Reiki is simply a tool that practiced with the proper intention can be extremely useful.

With that being said, the CD that accompanies this book is perhaps the most important asset of this package. This CD includes three tracks: two short ones and a middle one that is perfect length for meditation or playing during a Reiki session. This music introduces the wonderful combination of Tibetan Singing Bowls and the Gu Zheng or Chinese zither. The sound of the Gu Zheng is extremely relaxing; while the singing bowls have various pitches that seem to resonate with different parts of the soul. It is extremely beautiful and moving experience. I will definitely continue to use this CD for relaxation, meditation, and during Reiki sessions.
