Energy Healing Books

This book is as life-changing as the first couple in the series. One builds on the next. I was skeptical at first - but wow am I glad I went into it with an open mind and tried out these processes. The shift I experienced is hard to describe with mere words. Try it and you'll see!!!

I have read and done the processes in this whole series starting with Essential Energy Balancing I. I don't know that I would have if I didn't have such a high regard for Diane's earlier work Essential Reiki, because the contents of this series is pretty far out! Trust it though, and give it an honest, open-minded try and you will be astounded. So much weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and from my heart, I am a new person. These books truly are transformational.

While Stein's books can be challenging to understand, her connection to spiritual guidance is clear. Each time I complete one of her Essential Energy Balancing books, I am able to understand her work more clearly. This is the third in her series. I encourage everyone who wishes to evolve and heal to guide yourself thru all of her Essential Energy books. Tremendous amounts of healing can take place.

This is such a well written book. I have read so many new age, self help books and this is all that rapped up into one. Easy to read, deep in parts but always hits a cord with what may be going on with the reader or someone we know. Very well done. Authors contact info is in the back of the book. Try one of his readings. Fun!

I found this very informative and a good perspective on the emotional state of the chakras and the author's perspective of them.

Enlightening book with a lot to take in (and offer). Leaves you with much to think about. The interplay of relationships between friends, family, co-workers, plus multiple self-insights. Things you know deep down but may have been unable to articulate. Lots of Aha! moments. Great book - that may have you going back for a double take.

Penelope's book is wonderful and practical and concise. She packs a lot of information into it's pages and makes it amazingly simple to understand.

It's a beautiful book, and the knowledge expressed in it feels as pure and the white cover with it's purple lettering.

Along with Diane Stein's Essential Reiki, this book belongs on the bookshelf of every practioner at any level and any client who is interested in knowing more about Reiki

Penelope Jewell has explained in full detail the applications and the different uses of Reiki not only in the healing form, but also implementing Reiki into everyday uses in life. This complex healing art is brought to light through excellent illustrations and clear and concise explanation of each step of the many uses of Reiki.

Penelope Jewell's new practice guide for Reiki is one of the most clear and personable books I've yet seen on the topic. Simple line drawings show the placement of hands for both self healing and for working with others. Her inclusion of information on anatomy, physiology, and the metaphysical aspects of healing are a definite plus. Later sections, on running a healing circle and on finding a teaching Master, are both excellent guides from an experienced teacher. Jewell is straightforward in her knowledge and assumptions; and her reverence and respect for the system is grounded and inspiring.

This book will help many new practitioners deepen their understanding of the practice of Reiki. And since Jewell is a Master in the traditional branch of the system, it will also serve as insight into one traditional Master's work and understandings of this amazing healing art.

I showed the book to one woman (also a Reiki Master) who runs a wellness and healing arts center. Her comment was right on the money. "She's covered everything in this book," she said with tremendous appreciation. "You could TEACH from this book!" Indeed, you can.

The handbook would be a great first book for someone unfamiliar with chakra work while still being informative and useful to the experienced "student".

This wonderful little book is one of a series. They are written by different authors and each one is a different element subject.

They each are easy to read but a treasure trove of information that you will refer to again and again. The chapters are; the glory of light, sacred light, light cycles and life cycles, the nature of light, the power of sunlight and healing with light.

The bibliography is extensive and there is a references and resources chapter also. In the chapter of light cycles and life cycles it explains the effect the cycles of the moon have on the earth and human bodies;

The moon is full when it is on the side of the Earth farther from the Sun. At that time the Moon comes closest to Earth, drawn inwards by the Earth's gravitational force. In turn, the Moon exerts an influence on the ionosphere, pushing the delicate mantle slightly out of its encircling hand around the Earth's atmosphere, and towards the Earth's surface. The ionosphere, as its name implies, is a layer of charged air and particles that envelops the Earth 120 km or so up. the underside of the ionosphere is positively charged. the ionosphere's positive ions mix with those ions near the negatively charged Earth's surface. The mix of the two is thereby altered, becoming more positive. We breathe in the changed mixture, which enters our bloodstream. This physical change now has a physiological effect. Our blood cells are normally negatively charged, as are the walls of our arteries and veins, ensuring an easy flow as the similar charges repel each other. But when the mix turns more positive as a result of the Moon, the blood becomes "stickier", leading to poorer oxygenation and a resulting increase in psychological stress. At the time , the white blood cells, which are highly sensitive to electric charges, are also adversely affected. These positive ions also cause an overproduction of serotonin, a stress neuro-hormone and the opposing sister-molecule to melatonin, inhibiting one's ability to sleep. At the time of the new Moon, when the Moon is nearest the Sun, the ionosphere expands, lowering the number of positive ions at the Earth's surface. This encourages plant growth and improves circulation and vigor in animals.

These books are great.

Part Three: The Nature Of Light, deals with waves and particles, electrons, electromagnetism and rainbows, whilst Part Four: Healing With Light, explores syntotics, bioresonance, auras and light therapy, the power of infrared and photodynamic therapies.

Beautiful color photographs and illustrations enhance the text and the book concludes with a bibliography and a list of resources.

This is a beautifully illustrated and highly informative book.

The discovery of biophotons - the production and emission of light by biological systems - first by the Russian embryologist Alexander Gurwitsch in 1920, and more recently the work of Fritz-Albert Popp, have given more credence to the importance of light to the organism. Not just in terms of promoting photosynthesis or the Vitamin D cascade in the body, but perhaps as a fundemental organizing force. Unfortunately some of the fundamental science has been highjacked by some folk who believe that biophotons are another name for Qi or prana. Something that the scientists have never said.

Yet biophotons do seem to be a real phenomenon and some empirical work indicates that they are biologically important and provide a theoretical basis for much of the material presented in this book, which covers the whole spectrum of light and its healing effects.

It begins with a consideration of sacred light and moves to a discussion of light and life cycles, the whole science of light, the power of sunlight and finally various techniques for healing with light. There is little research evidence to back up the healing claims, but a great deal of experience garnered by practitioners.

Having watched the development of the field over the last couple of decades, and having tried some of the light-based therapies, I think it likely that light will soon become an important part of our therapeutic toolbox.

This is a handsome and thought-provoking book that will appeal to a many people, and certainly not just therapists.

As Ms. Mechner points out, awareness makes choice and change possible.

"Healing Journeys" presents a wide variety of issues and kinds of clients. There is something here for everyone to identify with and learn from. With 40 different authors, the writing is uneven, but, for the most part, highly readable.

I really enjoyed reading this fascinating book! The forty-plus short stories all deal with healing from physical or psychological wounds through a therapy that combines bodywork with talk therapy. Each author writes in a different style and voice. I especially liked "Dancing the Two-Step," which is a series of letters written by a couple coping with marital problems, and "Remembering Eddie" by a woman who links her physical pain to the memory of events surrounding her brother's death after a car accident.

I appreciated not having to read anything technical or theoretical; I enjoyed getting to understand Rubenfeld Synergy by reading many people's personal experiences. And what a variety of experiences! Childhood traumas, performance anxiety, devastating injuries, sexual problems, the suicide of a child, depression, and Alzheimer's are only some of the troubles the protagonists were facing when they first tried Rubenfeld Synergy.

Instead of viewing themselves as victims, the people in these stories learn to take responsibility for healing themselves. "Healing Journeys" reminded me a lot of Naomi Rachel Remen's "Kitchen Table Wisdom," in that people find the source of healing within themselves.

Now I have a good idea of how I might benefit from trying Rubenfeld Synergy or other body-mind approaches to healing.

For those that do not believe or think that this is impossible, think again. Any book by Dr.Baldwin is a MUST READ if you are interested in, or are going to attempt Spirit Releasement. After learning all I can about this subject and participating in, and cunducting therapy sessions, I can say that it's TRUE. After my clients failed to accept my suggestion therapy, I took to sprit releasement and you will not believe the amazing things that have taken place. Is it real? All I can tell you is that spirit releasement WORKS! Yes, this work is years ahead of it's time, but when is it the right time? That time is now as we seem to be moving on a tide of planetary changes in human consciousness. GET IT, READ IT.

I just finished reading "Healing Lost Souls", and I must say that I'm not really sure how I feel about this subject. The ideas it contains are quite new to me, and I will need to take some time to digest them...

In this book, the author discusses his findings (as well as the findings of other professionals) that people on earth can be impacted by the attachment of earthbound souls, "dark force entities" &/or extraterrestrials (ET's). The idea being that when there is a weakness in our auras, it's easy for these non-physical entities to enter into our physical being, and impact our lives in quite significant ways.

The author also describes his way of helping these entities move on - a therapy called SRT - where the experience is treated as real (no matter how off the wall it sounds), and the entity is spoken to in a calm, nice but firm way, where it's explained that they are disturbing this persons life & need to move into the light.

Other topics such as past life regression therapy & the history of exorcisms is also included.

Examples are included throughout where the conversations between therapist & non-physical entity are noted, and the change in that persons life after such sessions are completed is discussed.

I would highly recommend this book to those who are interested in the paranormal, as well as to therapists who are unsure how to proceed with certain patients - as 1 or more of the therapies discussed here may be of help. One word of caution though, and open mind is a must!

Excellent book. Easy reading. I recommend this to those who are already familiar with the subject material.

Dr. & Mrs. Gentry have condensed years of research and development into a concise methodology that even beginners can follow. I have used his methods for the past five years--they are failsafe. Especially useful is his method for energizing compatibility between two or more people. I have used his beacon method to bring to my practice just the right clientele whom I can help, are interested in my work, can benefit from it, can pay for it and who can refer other clients to me. His life story is very interesting. Dr. & Mrs. Gentry continue to do research. The key to do what they do is to practice, practice, practice! Mental healing takes energy and preciseness, conviction and intention. As he teaches, most of us spend too much time being angry--we waste vital energy. We need to take the energy we conjure up when angry & turn it and ourselves into positive energy to heal. Angry energy might as well be a shot gun. Healing energy is the miracle! It's free and abundant--everyone can manifest it.

I was deeply inspired at reading Byron Gentry's biography, and about the self-help work he discovered and developed. This book empowers readers to quickly, simply, and painlessly make positive changes in their lives.

This book is immediately helpful! After reading through a very interesting life story of the author, the book outlines simple details of THE TOOL. Using THE TOOL has helped me to clear up a sinus condition the very first time I tried it !

His life story details his progress towards creating THE TOOL in a scientific manner.. hypothosis followed by experiment leading to conclusion. Definetely recommended reading for anybody willing to stretch the bounds of healing and reality manifestation.

5 Stars for this book because it's, as far as I know, the only one of its kind. And as are all of Dr. Epperly's books, it is well written and easily and eagerly read. Reiki, a method and practice of hands-on and distance healing prayer, is growing in popularity around the world. It's Eastern roots and flavor may lead some more "conservative" Christians to keep their distance. But that would be their loss. Prayer transcends any specific theology, and God is God, no matter the language one uses in prayer. So this consideration of Reiki practice, and its placement within the Christian context of prayer and worship, is a valuable contribution and an ecumenical bridge-builder. To learn the gentle genius of Reiki itself, you'll need to go beyond this book. But for Christians to get "permission" to do so, here's a place to begin.

A shining book! Reiki Healing Touch affirms our deepest intuition about love, that it heals. The authors unearth the deep mysteries of healing energy, not only from the Christian-Buddhist, Mikao Usui, but from the healing ministry of Jesus. East and West meet in this happy book of hope.

Being a Reiki Master and Christian I found this book informative and affirming. Reiki translated from Japanese is 'Universal Life Energy'. And who is the source of that? Ummm...
This book wonderfully explains how Reiki fits in with the Christian tradition of the laying on of hands. It speaks of healing on the emotional, spiritual and physical level.
Bruce & Ktherine Epperly's ecumenical approach to 'the laying on of hands'/Reiki speaks volumes of the healing love of God.

Another great book from steve murray. I have really enjoyed his books and the psychic attunements do work. I always look forward to Steve's books because they work and are very helpful.

I used to think that psychics and clairvoyants "knew" everything!! I'm not sure I have those abilities, but I am happy to learn how to expand them, thanks to Steve Murray's latest "guide" book with its easy-to-read, easy-to-follow instructions. I found the "Negative Psychic Cord" discussion to be particularly interesting. Just when I thought there was nothing else to learn about Reiki, along comes another wonderful guide! Thanks, Steve!
