I bought one for my mom, who has worked in the corperate office world her whole life, and she laughed so hard. All the girls she works with wanted one. I also got one for my dog and it's her favorite toy :)

My firm needed information about designing a new workplace and an architect recommended we read this book. Now, we are thinking about hoteling because this book helped us to understand what it was all about. It was easy to understand and easy to read--there are tons of statistics, too. Great read.

This is an excellent book on alphabetic shorthand. It is a very comprehensive course and very easy to understand. There are plenty of excercises and in conjunction with the workbook, a very fine course. Even though shorthand is something of the past, there is still a very strong need for skill in this subject. Very well written and the best shorthand textbook on alphabetic shorthand anywhere.

This book looks rather strange at first, but after getting past the first couple of pages you really appreciate the beauty of layout and contexts. Some of the ideas are truly excellent! Well worth putting into action. After trying out several of the exercises at work I was promoted to the post of Private Secretary! So the book speaks for itself!

This is such a handy reference at such a good price. I recommend it to all the vocational students taking my course. I teach a state certified course for Administrative Assistants and Secretaries. The business English section is an outstanding review and includes a concise guide to usage of frequently "used and confused" English terms. If you aren't required to make plans for meetings often, the section of Meetings and Conferences will be a life saver.

As a Certified Financial Planner with many years of experience advising professionals on a variety of financial matters, I can wholeheartedly endorse the concepts presented in this fine book. Should be a part of every dental schools curriculum so that new dentists can begin in practice with a blueprint for financial success.
