Chiropractic Books

This product was exactly what I was looking for: a life size depiction of a human skeleton for my classroom. The book was only slightly damaged on the cover and otherwise perfect. What a bargain.

The text "Mobilisation of the Nervous System" is an excellent text for both the novice and experienced Physical Therapist. I bought this book to review for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist exam, and have found it very helpful. The text does an excellent job of describing general anatomical and physiological reasoning behind commonly used evaluation and treatment techniques, as well as describing these techniques in detail. The illustrations and descriptions are good, so that if you are not practiced at these techniques you will be able to clearly see the proper postioning that is required. I would recommend this text for anyone who wants to update their clincal skills or for new Physical Therapists that want to learn more about this aspect of Physical Therapy.

There are tons of questions on every different subject matter and the explanations for the answers tell not only why the right answer is right, but why the wrong answers are wrong. Highly recomended as part of your board review library.

I loved this book. It gave me the basics of what to do when my back goes out. It also put into perspective how much abdominal work I need to do daily. This must be conscious because the amount can change from day to day.

This book is a must have for those undergoing NAET treatments. It spells out exactly do's and don'ts necessary for making a treatment "stick." There are many tips and information that we didn't know from our practitioner that helped treatments work better.

I recommend anyone having NAET treatments to save yourself the money from retreatments by reading this book first.

The questions on the subject areas on physiology, spinal anatomy, microbiology, general anatomy, chemistry, etc. were on target. I would definitely recommend this book because it showed me how the boards were asking questions. In addition, I feel if I didn't study this book, I would have not been as prepared for taking the boards. It goes to show, I passed the first time taking the Part I boards. Definite must-buy.

I bought this book at my bookstore in chiropractic school since I found a lot of students using it for board prep. Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis and Chiropractic Practice sections were crucial in helping me pass the boards. The questions are all in sections and organized so you go and see what you need more study time in.

This is a wonderful book for the boards. The questions are just great and helpful since they are of board type. The explanations are excellent because they tell you why other choices are wrong. This book helped me lot on the boards and I also recommend Yochum's book Skeletal radiology book. Both these books are wonderful.

This is such a thorough study guide for the diagnostic imaging section of the boards. I used this book along with Yochums book,"Skeletal Radiology" and aced this portion of the boards. I was glad I used this book because it showed me the type of questions asked on this portion of the boards. In fact, about 50% of the part 4 boards is on diagnostic imaging if you count also the post-history and post-diagnostic rooms. The thing about this test that is insane is the short time limit you are given for each question. Without this book, I think I would have failed part IV because I would not know what to expect. I have to say I was a lot more calm when taking the test because I was ready for the type of questions that were being asked. This is a must book for anyone taking the Part 4 boards. It's better than spending well over $1000 plus traveling expenses to take the test again.
