I have been teaching about nutrition and how to have good health for more than 20 years and I still picked up excellent information from Jay Williams' book! Anyone who takes the time to read through it will glean many valuable nuggets to improve their fitness. She mentions a cleansing system called Isagenix which I personally used and found to be extremely effective. Dr. William S. Gruss's new book is an excellent book on the subject of anitoxidants and health. I found it very easy to read and filled with clear explanations of what is known how the main antioxidant in red wine Resveratrol works. Despite title "A Cardiologists Guide to", the book is well within the reach of the general public and is of distinct value.

Added benefits to the practicing physician and academic researcher are the book's 30+ pages of literature references and comprehensive index.

I found this book really interesting. It is easy to read and very informative. The author, who is an MD and anti-aging expert, is clearly well informed in the field. He is always objective in his assessment of the effect of carnosine on the human body. He is not fanatic about the topic of his book. The book also contains information on other products linked to anti-aging. They are most helpful. I whole-heartedly recommend this book to the general public. However, also people in the medical field may find it informative, even if it is not written with the rigour of a science textbook. After reading this book, I also bought another one by the same author.

I found this book to be packed with a lot of helpful info. I take the "goat colostrum" instead of bovine, but I'm sure it's pretty much the same. I love the stuff! I think this book is a must read for all who are interested in better health....

When I was diagnosed with a major health issue 2.5 years ago, at age 64, I decided it was time to be proactive about living a healthy life style. That is when I came across Dr. Mollen's book at our local library. My primary objective was, not to lose weight but to eat healthy, to improve my situation. I followed Dr. Mollen's advice for a healthy life style change and within 6 months I had lost 32 pounds. Besides that I went from a large to a medium shirt size and from a 38 inch waistline to 34 inches. I bought all new clothes and am told that I look great.
I have much more energy, my cholesterol is excellent, my blood pressure reading taken by my doctor recently was 120 over 80. I have been 20 to 30 pounds overweight most of my adult life but for the past two years have easily maintained my proper weight. I have tried diets before but this is not a diet, it is a life stlye change. I do not count calories or go hungry. I eat all I desire but eat the right kinds of foods and enjoy all of them. I highly recommend this book. Dr. Mollen is right on. I am living proof.

I truly LOVE this book. I read it purely from an aesthetic viewpoint - in other words, I wanted to make sure my face did not "go south" too soon. As is turns out, I started to feel much more relaxed all over RIGHT AWAY. Now I will be happy if my face does "lift" ever so slightly. Really though, feeling so much more relaxed is a wonderful thing. I practice my "facelift" exercises in the middle of the night if insomnia comes, and I go right back to sleep. What more could you ask??

I first saw this book sometime ago and noted that the book had Howard Turneys name on the cover in the expanded edition, I believe.He is known as The Father of HGH so that got me interested.Why would Turney write a statement for a book that seemingly advocates homeopathic Growth Hormone?I got the book through a freind that bought it from Amazon.com and found it to be in another realm that I had not previously examined -homeopathy.Being a resercher I found the facts and statements about homeopathic GH to be very informative and interesting.Being sceptical by nature,I ordered the HGH Turney takes from the company found in the book,only I obtained the Full Spectrum also.Frankly, the Full Spectrum is my fav'(sorry Turney!) as it has a compound I have studied for some time GHRH or Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone.I was amazed to read about GHRH in the book and that this dreamous co.had a homeopathic version.I think that the book is good for those that need a starter version on HGH -and like me-for people who don't know much,if anything ,about homeopathy(Amazon has books on this interesting subject) so they can have a better understanding.Dr.Klatz's book -sold on Amazon, certainly is the top book though on HGH.
