Teen Smoking Books

This book is a wonderful resource for children of alcoholics or treatment professionals working with children of alcohohilcs. It is a deeply moving collection of letters, poems and facts.

I wish I'd had this book while I was growing up! I recommend it to young people as well as to their teachers and others who work with youngsters and need a better understanding of what children of alcoholic parents are going through. The poem on the dedication page is especially insightful. The author obviously has a thorough knowledge and understanding of this subject. Don't miss the eye-opening quiz at the beginning of the book! Excellent resource about smoking and the effects of tobacco. Should be required reading for smokers or those considering smoking. Straight forward science, health, and political information. Contains resource information on helping you quit.

I have recently been blessed with the privilege to lead group therapy at a residential home for adolescent girls. Peer pressure is one of the most influential forces in the lives of these girls. I needed a resource that would help me stimulate these young women to think critically about the people whom they allow in their lives.

This book does an amazing job of presenting true-to-life scenarios to be acted out by group participants. Each scenario ends with an unresolved problem, which is proceeded by thought-provoking questions for group discussion. I have witnessed first hand how these vignettes stimulate positive problem-solving.

If you work with adolescents and want to find a resource that truly speaks to the teenage experience, this is the book for you.

Why hello everyone, If you have never read this book.. this book makes you wanna do drugs, it is a really good book... I toke up everyday now. I was a really good influence on me...
