This is an excellent resoure for anyone conducting survey research. It's complete, provides easy to understand examples, and is structured in a way that guides the reader to a grasp of the material.

This book provides an account of previously unavailable information on over 200 Nazi War criminals, both the Nazi elite and the rank-and-file. Psychological records previously unavailable are featured. The strengths of the text are in its detail about Nazi personalities including Karl Doenitz and Julius Streicher. In addition, the text describes in an entertaining way the quarrel between a psychologist and psychiatrist for the ownership of the psychological records of Nazi War criminals. The book is written in a narrative style, but sometimes switches to a more academic style.

This is a great book. It takes readers from the origin of humanity to how far it has come including beliefs or myths created as populations drifted away from Africa. It's also a great analysis of how perception changes as we go from one environment to another.

This is an well orgranized book on various aspects of RCS measurement thoery and practice. An excellent book for the RCS engineer to keep on their bookshelf to ensure a good understanding of what goes on when they test at ranges. The sections of the book stand by themselves supporting the readers need to quickly learn subjects. Information is provided with sufficent detail (math/theory) to allow the engineer to get a good understanding of the issues. The book could use a better index, I found I relied on the table of contents for most searches

The book is very interesting and useful for students of doctoral thesis in radiation dosimetry (physics and chemistry). The 1st edition is good but this 2nd edition is the best.

Statistical Methodology for Nominative-Ordinal Analysis scoring surveys. Part of a set of the series "Quantitative Applications in the Social Sciences." The title of the series gives a false impression that this is a sociological text or method but it is widely used in health care and in opinion surveys. This is a "must have" for the statistician.

This review of Anders' book appeared in the October, 1997 edition of Choice Magazine: "In the definitive work on electric current ratings of cables, Anders, a research engineer at Ontario Hydro who has worked in this field for more than 20 years, puts together the latest advances in cable technology as well as information from the latest integrated electronic components standards to produce a very technically detailed work on this narrow topic. Appropriate for Middle School or special needs HS tech ed courses, it will assist you in teaching rulers to the fraction challenged student. it also covers metric and area measurements and has practicle problem solving activities at the end that are very challenging.

I am in the process of reading the book. So far, I find it as an excellent analysis of reading comprehension and research in the US. Dr Willis openly discusses the sensitive issues and offers good solutions. Very nice!!!
