Montana Books

This book was fantastic. I just could not put it down. I mean that is how good it was.

Mr. Stone has a wonderful guide that is dead on accurate with his descriptions. Good maps and I like the length and elevation gain trail detail. Other guides simply say moderate or difficult trail but I like to know the specifics so I can make my own determination. The only thing he needs is a flatlander conversion chart. When he says 2 hours he must be talking about someone with lungs built for that elevation and in very good shape. Us North Dakotans need a time conversion chart that would remind us to add 50% to each hikes time estimate!! I'm buying his Bozeman hike book next as a gift for a fellow hiker.

This is one of my favorite books and I've recommended it to many of my friends. All of them have loved it. If you like horses, Montana, the west, or just plain good writing this book is well worth the investment. If you have never been out west read this book before you come because Spike will give you a good idea of what it's like to live out here.

YES, the mazes are quite dazzling. I would say that they are even aMAZEing!

The description says the creator is "famous" German artist and designer Ulrich Koch. Despite this claim of fame, I cannot find any info at all about him on the internet. If you know any information about this genius please let me know!

Even though this book has only a few illustrations (mostly photographs & maps, all excellent), the story of the discovery is so animated and interesting that even children as young as 4 can really become engaged in it. It is intended for an older audience of self-readers -- probably 3rd - 6th grade -- but if read aloud with enthusiasm, I know from experience that it can captivate much younger children too. No matter what your age, the author's excitement is irresistibly contagious. This would be an excellent gift for a child (4-12) who is interested in dinosaurs; and even if the child is not interested in dinosaurs yet, this book will certainly be an inspiration for him to want to find out more. It's also a great choice as preparation for a field trip to a natural history museum.

This is an excellent Hannah Montana box set that definetly gives you the best of both worlds. It is rare that you know a person that has not even heard of Hannah Montana. The book, is a written version of some of the TV show episodes. It is really good because your kids can read and entertain themselves at the same time. not to often seen these days. Enjoy!

Its a great book for any bobcat or grizzly fan. The passion, the excitement, everything about this great rivalry are all here in this book.
I especially liked the comments from the players about what this game means to them. I also got to speak to the author of the book and he is super with sending out books in a quick hurry. This is really a must read book.

The Ups and Downs of Being Round

Once again Jacquelin Thomas has used real characters and realistic situations to teach valuable lessons in an inspirational way. She opened my eyes to the fact that domestic violence is not just an issue that adults and married couples deal with, but it is also happening to teens. The main character, Divine, gives young men and women a role model that is realistic, thus making it ok to stand for something positive when peer pressure tends to pull you in the opposite direction.

Even though I am pushing 30, I am totally hooked on this young adult series. This is the third one that I have read and I can't wait to read the next one. I wish this was around when I was a teenager.

As an educator and social worker I HIGHLY recommend this to young people everywhere.

Excellent. In-depth discussion on history of Saint-Julien. Loaded with fine photos, many of Chateau. Descriptions, ratings, production, land area, owners, and grapes grown of Cru Classe and cru bourgeois. A thorough and informative, 190 page book.

This is one of two books by the same auther...this being the first. You start out with a young boy named Terry...who grows up in a poor but loving Christian family. What this boy doesn't get into! :) It transitions nicely into the second book where Terry is now a teen ready to graduate. I feel like I could have written this book myself after reading some of the "goings on" in the Christian School he attended! It brought back memories...and was most enjoyable to read. You also fly through the pages as its so "easy reading".

Don't miss out on a true gem of a book!
