Great strategies and awesome art

Face it, if you bought Steel Battalion, you'll want to make sure you can maximize your investment in the game. I suggest this guide for every Steel Battalion owner...not only is the art amazing, the maps and strategies are useful as well. Don't look for step by step walkthroughs...that's not what this guide is about. Instead, you are given general advice and tips as to what actions you should take in each mission and which mechs are best suited for that particular stage. The authors do a good job of not spoiling the game for potential SB owners...there's enough here to get you on track and a small taste of what's to come.

A must buy if you have the game

This book is amazing in how it helped me play the game. When I first played the game, I thought "What is this? Why is it so slow?" After achieving all the secret characters, I decided to see if I missed anything by looking at this book at my local book store. I first turned the page to my favorite character, Kairi, and found tons of stuff I didn't even know he could do. The book has colored pictures which adds a nice touch. It tells you each character's momentary combos which is very helpful. It tells you all of the meteor tag team moves which is a good thing so you don't have to go through a guess and check method of finding tag partners. The book also shows you several tag combos (not meteor tag team moves) that looks cool while doing major damage. It gives you all the secrets. Finally, the most helpful thing I found in this book was how it gives excellent strategies on how to use every character and the amazing, super cool combos that you would think never could've happen judging by the speed of the game.

Once again, this book is a must buy if you have the game. Without this book, the game is just a slow lifeless game that seems as if it were rushed through just to meet the launch of the PS2.

Super Mario Bros. are the Best

What a great book for any Super Mario Bros. lovers!

This is another "choose your own adventure" type book, based on the ever-popular Super Mario Bros., Mario and Luigi. The Princess (she wasn't originally known as Princess Peach!) is also there, along with a ton of other Mario Bros. characters.

A great book for anyone who loves those crazy plumbers!

The guide was pretty much perfect! What can I say? Probably what could've helped it was that it could have been in color (I know its a pocket guide but still...), but in the end I know it would make no difference. But some of the maps would've been clearer if the guide was in color.

What I like about the maps is that they are taken straight from the game and not handdrawn. Oh well, the guide was good, giving a great walkthrough. It also covers the classic super mario bros game so its great when you have to go somewhere and yout can't bring in this huge book (ie. Versus Books and Prima) when you can easily put it in your pocket and then take it out whenever you need it.

Okay, as much as the next person I like maps too, and while this guide didn't have any, that doesn't matter cuz the level of detail in the walkthrough was good enough for me!

The amount of time they took to put this guide together makes this a very good guide. They were very content on helping you get started in a section dedicated to completely helping you learn the basics. They explain the use of items. The explain all the enemies and ways to defeat them.

The walkthrough was very good. While it didn't have maps who cares? The other two guides had maps and they weren't even the best! What made the walkthrough good was that they had a quick reference guide in the back and that was only to help you find mushrooms, ace coins, and yoshi eggs if you wanted to get through the level in a hurry. Crystal clear screenshots basically dominated.

The secrets were well done while I still was able to find some tricks that I was stupidly trying out to see if they worked (and did but hey they were stupid), they actually told me what would happen if I got all the Ace coins in the game, they actually TOLD me what would happen if I collected all the yoshi eggs too.

They completely covered the Super Mario Bros. classic very easily. The guide was so detailed. I have to recommend this guide out to anyone there is. While it still isn't the best its better than the other two I saw. Keep this in mind because the guide is very decent and well put together.

This comic book is very cool and rare, I was very happy it arrived very fast! I've read it and I noticed it came with an extra story inside, and I think that was cool that came with it and they have funny advertisements inside also. I like to thank BRZOSTEK for selling me this comic.

I think this game is cool because not only you can play the original game but it has tons of new features like challenges, you get medals everytime when you complete the game and plus other than that it's cool. You guys can also check out Super Mario Bros again for the game boy advance part of the Classic NES Series so I give this game a 5 out of 5.
