The title on the book reads C++.
It is detailed, and concise, Covers the nitty gritty
of all the scary details down to Forward and Reverse Kinematics.
Lightwave, and 3DS ascii file parsing, Motion Capture, and the Author's own Toon3D Engine.
Thoroughly Enriched, Well Researched, and Easy to Read (for as complicated and detailed as this material is).
well laid out. Definitely Hard Core Food for Thought.
Thank You Nik.

The language is simple and direct. Nik really touches the subject in depth and keeps the math simple. The sample code is also very useful. I found fairly easy to modify for my custom applications. The book has been teaching me a lot. I've been even learning about GL and MFC with his book. If you need to learn about character animation, Nik's book must be on your collection! Looking forward to the next one.

Though the level of complexity (of the game) is not as high, as, say, Tekken, the real meat of the game is reflected in this excellent book. And that's all you'll need, right?
Ben and his co-author have ripped the game wide open, put it in an easy-to-read format, and allow for exploration for combos and such.
This book earns the coveted "5 stars" award for being easy-to-read, organized, and being a pleasure to look at, due to the wealth of the artwork.

Schiffer Publishing, Ltd., references are always excellent visual and educational resources for collectors, but until November their guide to antique "Historical Staffordshire" pottery styles was the only title available in its category. References focused on antique "Romantic Staffordshire" are scarce, so it was with delight I learned of this guide's recent publication. 100's of beautiful glossy photographs help collectors identify pieces in their collections. EXCELLENT photographs, detailed descriptions, explanations of creation and manufacture, origin of motifs, as well as history of important English potteries and approximate values make this guide a vital tool for any Staffordshire collector, casual or otherwise. Thank you, Schiffer!

Schiffer Publications, Ltd., provides helpful guides to collectors of dozens of items. The older "Historical Staffordshire" is a wonderful reference for lovers of all English Staffordshire pottery, though it does not specifically address its kin "Romantic Staffordshire." For those of us who especially collect Romantic Staffordshire, the publication of this new Schiffer guide in November was a long-anticipated occasion. 100's of glossy beautifully-photographed pieces and their markings, with detailed histories of manufacture, descriptions and origins of motifs, histories of significant Staffordshire potteries, and even estimates of value create an astonishing identification tool for all collectors, serious or casual. Thank you, Schiffer!

The best thing about this guide is the pictures of every enemy, character, object, and texture that you can use. It really helps with planning your project out. The tutorials it provides are fairly helpful, and could save you the time of figuring out some of the steps yourself. The Fu-Ma walkthrough could be a bit better, as it doesn't show any maps. But you really don't need a walkthrough with the sample game anyway. If you're into RPGM 2 and want to make a quality game, you should buy this book right away.

Sean Percival's book is one of the best about Second Life I have read. He takes you to many of the best shopping, entertainment, educational, adult only, and island living areas I have seen in Second Life. This book takes the reader off of the mainland and shows that the users of Second Life are truly creative; many of the locations featured in this book far outstrip the mainland content both visually and in software performance.
Percival's writing style is easy to read and entertaining, and serious or funny in an appropriate way. I have read some of what I call, "The Linden Approved" Guides. Those books have the feeling that the writers were simply mouthpieces for Linden. They also offer little in the way of things to do. Percival's book on the other hand, is easy to read; you can pretty much open up to any page and find something interesting or fun, without all the technical hoo-doo. This book is witty and offers a fresh look at what Second Life truly has to offer the adventerous avatar.
Speaking of adventures, Percival (aka sean Voss in-world) also features an in-world companion to his book where he offers tour services and landmarks to locations both in the book and otherwise. Hello, can anyone say innovation??? No CDs, no paid websites. Just good fun ready to access at the click of a landmark. In fact, the name of his island in world is Landmark Island, I found it in places in the Second Life Search Function. Easy, straightforward, interacive. That's using 3D internet the way it should be used!
Linden approved books are expensive, and they offer little more in the way of content that a person can't learn from other residents or experimenting with the building tools in-world. Not to impune Linden Approved titles; they are great for beginners, but I was looking for something more. I found what I wanted in Percival's book. It is much more reasonably priced, has a more fun tone, and offers the in-world companion. I highly recommend this book for anyone who really wants to get the most of their Second Life experience.

Gamepro is a great source of a gameing magazine it is the best kind of magazine that I have ever read. In Gamepro it always has games that I want to look at. Gamepro puts good reviews on the games and it gives good video pictures of the games. I have now subscribed to Gamepro for 2 years and they haven't let me down yet. I like subscibing for Gamepro because it is much cheaper than the stand prices in stores. Also you get the magazines much more early than the stores get the magazines.
It has great codes and it helped me alot in playing the game
