the little white booklet for your psychic powers
Helpful Votes: 0 out of 0 total.
Review Date: 2001-10-18
If you've ever bought a tarot deck you know what i mean. This book is the same size a little thicker maybe and for the price you pay you get more then you bargained for. This book is focused on games that are exercises that involve two people! That is not found in anything but healing books and even then only one is the psychic. this is something that can be done in a community atmosphere, without conjuring visions of devil worship or whatever pops in your head as occult. Every one has some sort of energy in the psychic range and we all express it in our own system. This particular book gives you new places to show that energy and concrete"rituals" exercises", "games" or whatever you want to call it and can be done with or without full cooperation of the other party. Alot of times after a while you will notice that you've probably been dragging people into this energy all you life and never could get past the basics, stopping yourself in your tracks. The control you gain can bring it in a positive direction as opposed to no direction at all. The last thing i want to say is this book will probably open your mind up to new things or turn you from them completely.

I purchased this book in preparation for my close friend's bachelorette party. IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! We had the best night out we had had in a long time. Our group got lots of attention, a few free drinks, and a couple of hangovers. I recommend this book for anyone out there that needs a little bit of direction when it comes to throwing a good party.

A murder mystery game perfect for a family get-together.

Review Date: 1999-11-07
Murder Mystery Parties really are great fun for a bunch of friends or family who love the opportunity to dress up and have a laugh. I joined in this game at a friend's house recently and now we are busy preparing for the next party at mine! Some people are a little worried about having to 'act in character', but they're usually fine once they get going and you can always make sure that they are allotted a quieter personality. All the information you need is given in booklets and you could just read it out if you didn't want to adlib. The plot of 'Tall Oaks' was just complex enough to keep us all guessing, but not too involved to lose anyone's attention - even after numerous glasses of wine!

Great Title for Event Planners and Super Party Moms

Twenty party themes include directions and templates for invitations, goodie bags, four games or activities for each party, a fantastic cake, and totally coordinated decorations. For those of us whose kids had parties at the local park or pool, this is a really overwhelming book. But if you're an event planner, or if you have the time and energy and inspiration to do a party like this for your kids, I'm sure it will be remembered forever and ever. Themes include a terrific pirate party, wrestlemania party, skateboarding, mermaid, boys in the woods, teddybear picnic, and a fantastic Halloween party. Like the Family Fun 100 Parties book (now out of print) this has loads of helpful full color photos and specific instructions for those of us who were born without the arts-and-crafts gene.

Tired of just chatting with your friends? Do some FUN and Silly things with them!

Review Date: 2008-08-11
It looks like the Three Stooges offstage had a group of easygoing friends who were up for almost anything fun and silly at parties, and the book is a great compilation of some of their best ideas. Games include "Pass the Buck", where teams line up boy-girl-boy-girl, and try to pass a doller that they are holding in their knees down the line; "Spoons", where you pass a spoon tied to a line of yarn up and down the clothes of your team members; and a kind of "newlywed game", where couples are split up, the men are asked to write down answers to questions about their preferences and relationship, and the women have to guess what their partners wrote down.

I love this book. It has lots of creative ideas. Each section gives you a type of shower with preparation ideas (including pictures), invitation, menu, decoration, activities and even type of favors. It makes it easier for you to do. I used one for a baby shower ideas just a month ago it was a big hit, I just added a few more things to it and BAM the perfect shower that was fun and colorful. I have recomended this book to my friend and will like to recommend it to you too.

I LOVE THE SIMS GAMES! they are so much fun. if you buy the sims games your money is being well spent. but there was just one thing that was a bummer it is that it does not work on XP it says it does but i have XP and a few of my friends do and it does not. but other than that it is awesome and fun a great thing to play when you are bored! I hope u get it and enjoy it!

This book is really great for any sims gamer! I gives all kinds of useful info! I use it every day! I've read the whole thing billions of times, it even gives you a timeline on how to throw a good party! And I found this out from the book, but a moose head tells you how good your party is! If it's antlers are drooping it means your party..., but if your antlers are high up, it means you are throwing a great party!

One star for having the game on the book.

It's not that it's poorly written or even that it doesn't have info but I guess I was expecting something that would help me. If you want to learn some strategies don't buy this book. common sense will tell you what they did. I was hoping for some real good stragegy but there isn't none. But if you do want to know little stats like how much your social goes down when you're at work then yeah this is for you. and the thing on the ghost with the campfire was neat. That's about it. But don't waste your money. You can figure this stuff out at the sims.com..

Good Guide

Review Date: 2002-09-14
I find this to be an incredibly good guide. Not only does it cover two games (original Sims and House Party) in one, but it gives excellent advice. It also has a bit of humor in one section (Chapter 8) The book has a total of 15 chapters, each describing something else. While one chapter goes into detail on Sim's personalities, another talks about throwing parties. Another chapter has a buying guide, with tips on what to buy, while another chapter is dedicated to telling you who can show up at your parties and how to get them to show up. The book also has pictures. This book is very helpful if you are having trouble holding good parties in the Sims House Party.
