This is a really great way to get the family involved with aspects of the Bible. It's also ideal for Sunday school or Bible study. The quizzes increase in difficulty. The Family Bible Flip Quiz will greatly encourage you to read your Bible more frequently. A definite must. I definitely recommend it without reservation.

All "Big" workbooks by School Zone are the best in the market. Rather than buying individual workbook for each subject, each "Big" workbook is packed with high quality, truly interesting, and relevant worksheets of all subjects. My 7-year old likes doing the worksheets -- they're effective! It's also great for reading -- sometimes we just read together and discuss the topics. For parents, the comprehensive coverage of "Big" workbooks is a good starting point to know what grade-level curriculum requirements are. This particular "Big Activity Workbook" is packed with interesting worksheets of relevant grade-level topics great to work on during summer time, so child can be brain-prepared for coming school year.

Very good, Bible Crosswords. They were a real challange!!

This book is great for kindergarten students. They love the poems and gain much understanding from reading them.

What the heck is our Congress thinking of???? This book clearly lays out how easy it will be for terrorist to get us by easily crossing the border at will. Why is this still so??? If you like this book you should also read, "U.S. Customs, Badge of Dishonor" another narrative of our Government's border blunders.

This book is packed with a wide variety of games that not only keep students engaged, but are also educational and instructional. The activities help to sharpen basic and necessary skills, such as reading, writing, and thinking. This book is not only a must-have extra for Language Arts teachers, but the games and activities contained within it are good and productive time-fillers for any teacher.

The series by Brain quest has many levels and covers many topics. This first grade reading comprehension package is outstanding, and was enjoyed a great deal by both myself and the kids. It allows for interaction and helps to develop reading as well as memory and recall skills. Definitely more fun than homework.

My son and I played this during our recent vacation. We played for hours and hours, and could hardly put it down. We are going to buy more of the Brain Quest series in the future. Highly recommended.

Go run and get this before school starts!
It has all the right curriculum, is fun, the worksheets are the right length and engaging.
It has all the right units, organized well.
I teach in a Title 1 school and only wish all my families could buy this for my students to get them ready for the incoming year.

Buy it for the grade level your child is going into, not left from. If they are advanced go a grade up, if they are struggling use the grade they just left. (or if retained the grade they are repeating)

All the fun of the Brain Quest card game in a colorful page-turning book. I got this one and the third-grade one for my eight-year old this summer. He's been working in it every day. The activities appear to be fun as well as challenging for him.

The book has sections for Phonics, Spelling and Vocabulary, Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Cursive, Math Skills, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication and Fractions, Shapes and Measurement, Time and Money, Social Studies, and Science.

Answer Key is in the back, and there are also "extras," like a colorful map of the US, cut-out Q&A game cards and motivational stickers.
