This is a book of drills to help your student master single digit addition and subtraction. There are many master pages which can be written on or copied for use (permission to photocopy is granted on the copyright page).

I didn't want this book to end - it's been a while since I've had such fun while tackling a challenge.
My favorites had to be the rectangular 5 and 6 starred puzzles.

I will definitely be checking out more of his books.

This is a reference book when looking for a creative activity. Again, Amazon's sellers had a "like new" used copy at a great price.

101 Theatre Games is one of the best books I've come across for educators. Johansen does a great job in making drama easy and accessible for students. She does this without compromising the depth of the subject. As an educator, I was impressed by the practicality of the book. The author does not write on and on about the theories involved in drama. She outlines activities and gives examples of many exercises to begin immediately. The games are not just fun, they really do teach with the goal of instilling a love and appreciation for the theatre.

I picked up a copy of this book at our parish library thinking my grandkids would enjoy it when they spend time with us this summer. What a surprise! I love this book. It's not just for kids 4-8, it's really for kids of all ages. It will make learning about the Bible easy and fun.

"Did you ever hear of Noah and the Ark? Well, did you know that same Noah had a son named Ham? He did! Not bacon or sausage, but Ham! That was his name. And two of Noah's other sons were named Sem and Japheth. Now, according to the Bible, Noah was 500 years old when he became the father of these 3 sons. We don't know exactly how they counted years back then, but he must have been verrry old.

"Do you ever act like a "ham"? When someone in a play or movie OVERacts or OVERdoes every little gesture, people say that person is acting like a ham!.....................It doesn't matter WHAT you are called -- but it DOES matter if you COME when you are CALLED! So always answer when your teachers or parents CALL you!..............."

An endless multitude of thought provoking questions, this "gizmo" is great fun for your child. They can play it alone, or with a friend, they can play it again and again. They can play at home or in the car, with this gizmo their minds will go far! ok, sorry. guess what we've been reading...anyway, a great gift for your child and they can do it completely by themselves. The "gizmo" beeps and let's them know if they're right or wrong. Questions range from easy to slightly more difficult so as to provide challenge while building confidence. "Decks" of varying subject matter plug into the gizmo, enabling you to switch easily from one subject to the next. We'll be giving these as gifts this Christmas!

This book of 52 bridge tips is for intermediate and better bridge players. The tips all relate to declarer play. Each tip is presented with an expanded explanation and several examples. Many are unique, and all are very useful. I highly recommended this book from a superb writer of bridge books.

I was amazed with the content of the book. It is exactly what I need now that my school is getting into the IBO, because it helps me to have a constant assessment of my students.

This is a wonderful book for children or adults. The sixteen unique images rendered in skillful detail combine imagery from several cultures such as the flowery fabric motif from Nigeria with it's border design taken from a Baule gold plating motif and the Bambole mask with Ndebele motifs as a background.

The real surprise in this book is that the images are printed on transparency paper creating a number of options for use by teachers, artists and students of all ages. It is unlike any other coloring book I've ever seen.

This was the first book by this author that I bought, and I've picked up every title. They make great gifts for the kids you know, and the tricks are also pretty cool (I enjoy them for myself, too). This book is perfect for 9-12 year=olds, and combines magic tricks with basic math skills. Highly recommended!
