This book is devoted to industrial applications of Statistical Measurement Theory. The book deals with general problems of measurements and not with the technical aspects of measuring specific physical quantities.
Each chapter is followed by exercises, most with solutions and answers. The text assumes that the reader is familiar with standard courses of Calculus, Probability Theory and Statistics.
I have used the text of Prof. Gertsbakh for a part of undergraduate course "Statistical

Quality Control" and students' graduation projects in Negev Academic College of Engineering (Beer-Sheva, Israel), and I am really pleased with the book, its contents and style.
Unfortunately, it seems to be a technical mistake in the text, on the page 62: the formula (4.2.1) is deleted, and it must read Xij=ì+Ai+åij.

I needed this for my nursing course. Not having to buy a second text book saved my husband and I a lot of money. This book has the access code needed for the online course. It also has links to resources that will help with your studies!

I'm starting school in January and wanted to get a head start so I purchased this book. It's very imformative, it's well written and has beautiful, colorful illustrations. It has chapter test to verify that understand everything that you just read. I really like it so far.

This is a superior terminology textbook. It includes flash cards, crossword puzzles, and quick quizes to help you retain what you've learned.

Furthermore, it builds language skills in a logical manner, so what you learned yesterday will form the basis for remembering today's lesson.

It's good - really good.

I was considering online dating, and decided to get this book before I tried it. This book was amazing! There were many aspects of online dating that I never considered, and luckily this book addressed them. The book was easy to read, entertaining, and comprehensive in it's coverage of the subject. After reading this book, I feel that I am ready (and armed with the necessary information) to try online matchmaking. I highly recommend this book!

"Men Seeking Women" is a genuinely entertaining collection of stories that all, in one way or another, center around sexual relations on the internet (with the curious exception of the last story by Po Bronson which, while good, doesn't seem to have anything to do with the rest of the collection). This is a really strong group of stories that explores the impact of the internet on the interactions between the sexes in a variety of different ways and from a variety of different angles. Some of the stories were better than others, of course, but I particularly liked "Payback Time" by Gary Krist, which takes as its theme the way men develop powerful crushes on enigmatic women they encounter on-line but of whom they know nothing; "Minesweeper" by David Liss, which is about a serial internet liar and how he justifies his awful behavior to himself; "The Face in the Glass" by Paul Hond, which is basically just effective and creepy; and "Prisoners of the Heart" which is, perhaps, not particularly realistic, but a whole lot of fun.

i want to give a soulful Salute&warm Applause to the Greatness that is Chris Cadman&Craig HalStead. this Book is the truth. very in depth on MJ's work in the studio all the way back to 1967. this Book highlights pre Motown, Motown,CBS and then which became Sony Music. highlights MJ's work with the Jackson five, solo as a child&then at CBS as the Jacksons then Solo at Epic.very incredible and detailed. this is the Best Musical Book Written on the King of Pop to date period. I also would like to personally thank the writers for acknowledging myself&given me a thank you. i feel this is the Ultimate Book for the MJ fan around the world. fantastic&so insightful.

I got the book on Friday and was taken back by the ease of reading. Read the whole book, except the definitions of the "codes" by late Sunday. Plan to use this book and its step by step guides to get everything set up on my server. The planning section is important and it tells you why and what to consider. EXCELLENT BOOK! I am using this a NT Server book and a detiled book on SQL 6.5 to start an run a business
