Hockey Books

This book is perfect. It must of taken a great deal of research to put this book together. The captions are short but very informatve drawing attention to the sensational pictures of the Dusters,Barons,Whalers,Rangers,B.C.Icemen and Senators.I recommend this book to anyone young or old that is interested in hockey.

We all know it is here. Now, how did it get here? Book goes down memory lane to the early days. Enough pictures of the old players who would have certainly been playing in a 30 team NHL, but not quite good enough to play in a 6 / 12 team NHL. Plus the book got here supper fast!

My husband is a publisher and I'm a hockey nut so he gave me an advance copy of this book. I never knew how rich the Seattle area was in hockey history. I love the photos and the historical insights the author has managed to find, and his website is just wonderful.

Great book to pass in the warm room! Loved the goalie shorts and the legends. Fun how real players are woven into the stories especially form the Buffalo Sabres! Fun read for kids to Grandpas. Got mine at a Buffalo rink.

If you are a fan of minor pro hockey read this book. It offers a great insight into the game both on and off the ice. Thanks for the great book!

This is a fine book for al fans of the National Hockey League. It's jam-packed with full-color photographs, profiles and stats of the brightest stars in the NHL including Jaromir Jagr, Eric Lindros, Dominik Hasek and Brett Hull. A must for all hockey fans. Up-to-date information too !

Hockey Player for Life is a great read for those that grew up playing any time-intensive organized sport like hockey as well as for those that have children currently playing. The book will speak to your experiences and offer some surprises along the way.

After the first chapter, I was hooked, and if you are looking for a book that celebrates the sport of hockey, I think you will be hooked too.

As a dog lover and mother of an 8-month old, I loved reading Hockey Pups to Zachary. The colorful pages and exciting story line will be something I share with my son for the next several years. I recommend it to all parents!
