Best $21 (with shipping) I ever spent in my life!

Review Date: 2008-09-14
To anyone that's purchased any of the sports gambling books that Mr. Tuttle has written, I hope that you've had as much success in recent months as I have. This was without a doubt the best $21 and change that I've ever spent in my life. And, best of all there's still another 10 predictions left to come for next weekend (Saturday Sept. 20th). I'm a $200 game player these days, and Mr. Tuttle's football prospectus for today/tonight Saturday, Sept. 13th (and the Thursday night winner with Kansas +3.5), has made me a net profit over the last 3 days of $960.00! And at the risk of sounding redundant, as I've already mentioned, there's still 10 more plays for next Saturday in this little booklet. I pray to the gambling gods that Mr. Tuttle keeps writing these all season long, or better still, during the College and Pro basketball season. His formulas and techniques have absolutely proven that any loser can become a winner. I'm living proof of that last statement!

Good luck to all!

An informative and fun read....

The poker advice in this is sound, but there are no big secrets as the title suggests. The author endorses classic, tight-agressive strategy. However, the thing that sets this book apart is the humor. The chapters: "Every Man for Himself" "Poker Etiquette" and "Messing with your Opponents" are particularly funny. I've never had so much fun with an instructional manual. The glossary in the back of the book is excellent, perhaps the most comprehensive I've ever seen on the topic. The only criticism I have is the section on poker odds is simplistic and may not be satisfying to the more mathematical player. Overall, a fun and informative read.

Exceptionally detailed review of vegas and its people
Helpful Votes: 3 out of 3 total.

This believed to be out of print book, offers an exceptionally detailed review of Las vegas and what makes its people tic. filled with hundreds of pictures, inside stories, and information from the cities early days to such historical events as the MGM fire, the book concentrates however on the people that work in Las Vegas and make this such a special town. However the book is quickly dated as the town is ever changing, it does have a little story about steve Wynn, and the building of the Mirage, so the book is before the renaissance of the early 1990's. It offers lots of looks at many hotels that have vanished, a collectors must have. Peter Huender (Vegaspeter) e-Vegas

The authors give the reader a comprehensive understanding of how Video Poker machines are programmed and how they function. They also give three strategies for optimum play which are excellent guidelines for conservative players to those willing to take higher risks. Their advice on play is good common sense.

The best book for part-time/full-time gambler!

Hey, I've read so many books over gambling, for now I can't remember how many. Unless I read that one, I always thought they were the same with different autors.

That book changed my opinion. I have been a gambler for 15 years now and I found so many new tips, I could'nt believe my eyes.

This is not a how-to-play-casino-games book. It's a book teaching you the most important: how to play as a winner and always leave "as a winner". Take the money and run is a modern principe in casino's books. That one goes further.

It made me change, I hope, forever, my thoughts about what is really a fun and winning way to go to casino.

For the price of a Mcdo trio, don't let all these good advices run away from you.
