Very informative book. Great read for anyone interested in the history of Nevada gambling.

This is a gambling book that looks at gambling in a realistic fashion. The first thing it does is to divide the games into those you can win in the long run (Blackjack (Barely), Poker, Sports Betting, etc) and those that you must lose in the long run (roulette, craps, baccarat, etc). It then explains each game in detail. It explains why progression betting systems don't work long-term, and why money management is psychological, not mathematical. For all the simple games (baccarat, roulette, etc) it provides all you'll ever need to know. For more complicated games like poker and blackjack, it provides all that most people will ever need to know and a firm basis for the serious student.

In the world of BS gambling books, this is a breath of fresh air.

This is a story about Colin Fenton, a small time business man who went away on business and ran into his double-John Bently. Colin was paid by Bently's wife,Linda, to pretend for one night to be Bently. He knew that Linda wanted to steal a jewelly but he accepted it because of his financial problem. Unfortunately. on the way to provide this alibi,Colin had a car crash and died. Mark Ashwood who found the car crash received the last message to Julie, Colin's wife. He is the first one who knew the truth and informed it to Colin's real wife to help Colin had his own name again.
I recommend this book for the readers who love mystery or detective story. You can not predict what is going on in the following chapters because of the twists and turns. There are many climax that make this story interesting and unique. While you are enjoying this story, you will find many thoughtful ideas of life,"what you do is what you get".

All that said, none of the FUN of any of these games is the least bit dated. They are sure to amuse young and old alike. ... but yes, I wrote the book. Back when I did it, online poker was legal (and you can still do it if you know how to get around the law), and will be legal again soon ... or so I hope. Anyway, if you ever wanted to learn how to play online poker, this could be the book for you.

I wrote this to be easy to understand. It explains how to find legit sites, how to set up accounts, basic bankroll tips and more. And if enough people like this, I'll submit my fiction to the publisher and have a go with that.
