Going through leadership books to look for something to learn is like going into a mega-grocery store when you are hungry. There's just too much "out there". Also, in all the "Do It This Way" books that exist on leadership, you never really know what works in the field, and what works just in the minds of some author trying to crank out another 5 pages. Leadership Defined, however, is different: it's a gold mine of inquisitive interviews with real people in real leadership positions in the real world. Though I don't know if I like the Interview - Interviewee format, the nuggets that come from here are real!

I personally liked diplomat Alan Keyes' and international educator and human right's leader Patrick Atkinson's messages. Mr. Keyes is clearly a polished political speaker. Mr. Atkinson clearly speaks from his heart and from the streets. Powerful! Powerful! Powerful! I want to hire him for my business!

I found this book at a used book sale, and really found a gold mine. I would recommend this book to all my friends and relatives. I makes you look beyond yourself.

"Let's Talk Intuition: 101 Powerful Insights to Transform Your Life Today and Forever" delves deeper into this concept to give you a better understanding of your own intuition, and how to use it to a better degree, teaching you to use it to improve your finances, your personal relationships, your hobbies and why you do some of the things you do in general. Enthusiastically recommended for self help shelves with a good cross over into psychology, and for anyone in general who wants to learn how get a greater grasp of this concept that inhabits us all.

This is a wonderful book to give as a gift. I have purchased many of them locally as gifts & when I couldn't find them I logged on here to order more ! Super fantastic reading for the female high school grad before entering college life. I have received nothing but thanks from those that I gave this to. I have been giving this for many years now & it is still relevant & very encouraging to that special gal that you are sending off into a new & exciting world ! A Must Read !!!

This book is awesome. I read the book and followed what it said to do. It was easy to read and follow and is worth it's weight in gold! I recommend this book to anyone who has or is thinking about buying life insurance. It will make the process a lot easier!

J.M. Farro's Life on Purpose for Men is an excellent guide for men in applying God's Word to everyday life and tackling daily problems and issues we face. It is easy, as Farro writes, to let people and situations dictate what one's day, year or even one's life will be like. But by making the right choices daily, one can control one's destiny and, in effect, that individual can live their own life on purpose! Farro's Life on Purpose series shows how one can do just that through the guidance of the Scriptures. This is a great series of devotional books, and I wholeheartedly recommend the Life on Purpose series for both Christians and for non-Christians who are curious as to how Christ can help them and give them the strength to face everyday life.

Extremely thought provoking devotionals and they always seem to cause me to change my focus for that day and the week ahead; moved me closer to GOD. and opened my heart to the heart of God; I continue to share the thoughts of this devotional with my family and friends.

Life's Lessons gives a needed motivational kick to get you growing again -especially if you're in a rut. It's a shorthand formula for remembering why we put ourselves through tough times and why we postpone or deny certain pleasures. Basically it's all about wanting to change and then changing-professionally, personally, or whatever you need. It's a small manual, but it tells some big ideas - like how to create your own paradise (how to really experience the richness available to you right now), how to give up the good for the better, and what serious commitment can do for you. There are questions to ask yourself -such as 6 questions for taking calculated risks: What's the worst that can happen? What's the chance that will happen? If it did, can I live with it? What am I afraid won't happen? What's the benefit of not taking the risk? What's the benefit of taking the risk?

There are reminders about listening to people around you and the power of your words. It's a quick read with lingering benefits. I plan to re-read it yearly in a personal retreat and evaluation time.

Great childrens book. The pictures are colorful and the book has great moral themes every parent would want to pass down to their children.
