As an adoptive mom, I have experienced open adoption firsthand. As an active volunteer in a crisis pregnancy center and adoption agency, I have seen many open adoptions from the birthmother's side of things, too. Jane Waters' book offers valuable insights into the process, and from my experience, is extremely accurate in the information it offers. A quick, easy read, I highly recommend this book to any family considering open adoption. In fact, I wish I would've read this book before our first adoption. It answers many questions those considering adoption face, and offers advice that has real-life applications. From undertanding birthmothers and setting boundries, to the hospital experience and naming the child, this book will give you the information you need to make an informed decision about open adoption and, should you choose to go that route, help you navigate obstacles that stand in the way of a successful adoptoin. As the back cover states, "Mrs. Waters clearly outlines the emotional turmoil of the birth mothers and offers suggestions to help make an open adoption a positive experience for the child, the adoptive parents and the birth mother."

Prevost is the first known book totally devoted to magic but it's in French. Then Scot's discovery of witchcraft includes a chapter on sleight of hand, but it's only a chapter. This makes Rid's book the first book in English entirely devoted to sleight of hands. The next one which is almost as rare is Hocus Pocus Junior.
There are only one or two original issues of Rid's book in museums and one in private hands. This is why a fac simile reprint was made. There were only 500 copies of the fac simile produced and this late edition is itself extremely rare.
This edition of the book covers tricks which are stil performed today and is a very much sought after collector's item

This book was recommended to me by a colleague. In my profession I work closely with staff at many performing arts organizations who really could benefit from reading this book. The author does not simply pontificate, she provides a really fresh look at the challenges and opportunities for increasing audience size, connecting with patrons, improving financial health, website best practices, marketing campaigns, the list goes on and on. Best of all, Ms. Bernstein backs up her findings and recommendations with research and case studies - introducing the reader to methodology that is sure to win over any board of directors skeptical of change. I give this book 5 stars!

Priscilla H. Claman offers user-friendly tactics that you can put to work immediately upon reading this book. She uses case studies to illustrate her points and covers an array of situations, from how to request a raise to how to ask for a promotion. "Ask" showed me how to prepare to ask for what I wanted at work and gave me the motivation to do so. I read the book in one night, and the next day I went to work and applied the techniques. I was not disappointed!

I highly recommend this book if you'd like to change something about your job situation but aren't sure how to do it. It's got all of the answers!

This book is very easy to read. Each page is comprised of one or several thought-provoking questions or statements. Each reader attacks this book with their own point of view. Mason provides the canvas, the reader supplies the paints, brushes, and final work. Excellent self-help tool. Recommend highly. Both inspirational and self reflecting. Before you read another self help or how to, read this and find out where your head really is. This book is essential to know where to start, then move to another book to reinforce, and end up well rounded.

This book delivers on the title. Both John and Carolyn have had an amazing experience together with the Lord. From cancelling disability checks to ministering in foreign countries, I find that they're journey is worth reading. There are an abundance of testomonials, in fact, too many to deny significance. Anyone that reads this book, will feel the same. Good Reading.

Noel Tyl is a Master Astrologer. He writes in an engaging, yet extremely informative manner about this complex subject.

I would highly recommend this book to all people interested in astrology, especially rectification of horoscopes

Chuck Swindoll is an awesome writer, preacher,and person. His attitude is that of a man after God's own heart. This book shows how to be strong in the Lord during troublesome times and also in the highest moments of life. I strongly recomend this book to any person, any age.

Once again Lynn Allen has written a book that will be useful to the most advanced AutoCAD users, as well as those just beginning in this field.
Tips and tricks written in simple english that will help the reader to better understand what is being introduced.
Anyone who has read Lynn's first book, "AutoCAD Inside And Out" will no doubt find this second book even more insighful.

Buddhism and psychology have recently gained increasing interest for their intriguing similarities about the human mind, growth, inner healing, and creativity. In this stimulating book, the editors offer a variety of provocative essays. I found the discussions about Jungian psychology and its relevance to Buddhism today to be particularly interesting. Strongly recommended.
