I would recommend one of these maps for ANY city you visit! They are compact but provide a ton of detail! Worth every penny!

I just returned from Paris and found this map to be extremely helpful. I particularly liked that it was sturdy enough to bump around in my bag unscathed, small enough that it didn't require a lot of room, and concise enough to help me find my way. I highly recommend.

The best course on Time Management I have read. Helps you identify your Values(Unifying Principles), which makes Decision Making so easy & gets rid of a major Time Waster. Other tips were great too. Can be adapted easily to a Digital Planner/Software in lieu of a Paper Day Timer.

This is THE classic on Time Management. There are many copies, but Hobbs is the orginal. His "Insight" system uses a "Day Timer" type of datebook, but can be adapted to other systems or computer based systems such as Outlook or ACT!.

Dr. Martin's book is "the Bible" of how to use and improve your eyesight in sport. I recommend it to all my students - if they can find it in stock. How the eyes work, why they function as they do and how to improve eye function.

How many times has someone said "Keep your eye on the ball"? If you are involved in sports, you've heard it hundreds if not thousands of times from friends, coaches... even your competitors. But in all the years I've been shooting trap or skeet, or playing golf... NO ONE has ever explained HOW to do just that.... until Dr. Martin wrote this book. I purchased my first copy about 12 years ago, and today it has a special place in my library. I highly reccomend this book for self improvement or as a gift. Just don't give one to a friend until you have read your copy first. Wait until they ask you what you did to improve your game... then if you don't mind some competition, buy them a copy as a gift!

This is a beautiful book with many photographs which bring back special memories to those who have a connection with U of IL. It will be a special treasure for anyone who attended the university. Many different aspects of university life are covered by Don Hamerman's fabulous photographs. A great gift for alumni, current students or those who hold a special place for Urbana/Champaign and the University of Illinois in their memories.

This is an absolute must have for Univ. of Illinois alumni who appreciate good photography. In talking with other alumni who have seen and/or own this book, the images bring up memories from their time on campus. It also tweaks the curiosity, because Hamerman shows a penchant for finding new perspectives (close-ups, etc.) that can be overlooked in the rush of campus life. Compared to other photography of the UI campus I've seen, this is very original. And Ebert's introduction is a nice read -- it ties in wonderfully to the book. I highly recommend!

This is a practical book that guides you through the first number of years of parenting. The author comes across genuine and "real." I've read it several times and use it as a reference book!

Carol has a realistic view of motherhood. She suggests things that worked for her, and shared what didn't work. She has packed this book with wisdom. I HIGHLY recommend this book for new mothers. It will help you TONS, it did me.

Mr. Shabazz's book grabs you and makes each character so familiar to you. I'll remember this book forever.

This work was an answer to my prayer. I come from a very large family were alcohol and drug addiction is very prevalent. I had been currently struggling with how to best approach a sibling who is fighting addiction now. Mr. Shabazz has provided me with the answer.

This work is the tool that I, who have never had an addiction, will use to approach my sibling and convey to them that I see what your going through, I'm here for you... but I won't be abused by you and your not alone.

I thank you Mr. Shabazz for your work and once again this proves that NO prayer is too small that HE won't answer.

I just bought the book from the Olympic Training Center (library, I guess). The reviewer who said "billiant" is right. Clear, concise, and easy to understand. I'm just starting judo, but as a teacher of 32 years experience who nows textbooks intimately, I know a good book and teacher when I see one.

This book is yet another look into the techniques of Judo. It is discriptive and easy to understand, even for the novice Judoka. I know Hal and he is a brilliant instructor as well as a excellent fighter. I highly recommend this book.

Excellant book about how God wants us to be committed to being all that we were intended and predetined to be for the Lord. Whe we fall we must rise up and continue on the Journey.

Although I haven't read your book, I applaud the fact that you have researched something so personal & specific. I am actually a friend of your brother. He has the talent you write about, yet he is not at a place where he is willing to be aware of the fact that he has a talent of the very subject you write of. The truth is, we all have that talent, if only we listened. I look forward to listening to your book, ON TAPE.

This book deeply increased my knowledge of pitch and the impact of intonation on understanding what the hell someone is talking about.
