Yes, her heroine attracts all of the usual suspects, but lions, tigers and bears, oh my, Dorothy thought she had a nightmare - Dathan Charles wouldn't need to click her heels to go home from Oz, she could've walked!
One passage details an attempt on Dathan Charles' life. How many heroines don't comb their hair or at least wince before picking up a gun? Not Ms. Charles. She wipes out her enemy with one gun shot and very little forethought.
Coumbe has drawn from her own universal experiences to create a vagabond adventure to end all adventures. A cross between Raiders of the Lost Ark and Gone With The Wind. Dathan Charles has Scarlet's beauty and willfulness combined with Indiana's resourcefulness and prowess. Together they pack quite a wallop.
I don't know if there's an odometer great enough to measure either the author or her lead character's adventures. And thank goodness for that. For what an intricate and tangled web they weave!
The title character is a trailblazer of gender equality. Scarlet O'Hara was a wannabe. Dathan Charles is the read deal.
Readers who crave more will be pleased to know 'Dathan Charles' is the first installation of a trilogy. ...

After reading Them's Fightin' words by Mr. Glenn I knew I had to try one of his books and I wasn't disappointed. Death at Dragonthroat is a thriller, a comedy and an horror story all at once, sometimes ont he same page. I was amazed at how quickly the author was able to take me from one emotional state to another and I have to think it is because he made the characters so real that I cared a gtreat deal about what happened to them. And I want to know more.

A thin reference to 60+ symbol and icon fonts available online, this book succeeds on all levels: high quality and tasteful printing and layout, great content, and an inarguably fair price (when compared to many books of similar content and quality.) In addition to being a reference to the 60 or so symbol/icon fonts described, illustrated, and utilized in this book, but it is a pleasure to look at - whether searching for a bit of inspiration for your own creative twist, or for finding professional symbol and icon fonts on the web. I am very happy I purchased this book, and look forward to using it for some time to come. I highly recommend this book to graphic or web designers.

This book is excellent for those wanting to know how to create Windows 95 online Help. It describes the different types of topics to create and how to structure the system of topics. Excellent chapter on choosing an online Help tool such as RoboHelp or Doc To Help.
