Some years ago, a friend of me, lent me, this book.I tried to read it.The subject of this book is, the ridiculous author's believes, about catholic power in USA and in all the world.
This book is false, ridiculous, outdated, bogus and bigoted.Don't waste your time and money, reading this bigoted and trash-book.

My kindergardener brought this book home from the library, because she wanted a slightly spooky book about bats.

Instead, she got a book in which children are taught that the Manhattan Project was designed to destroy the Moon, and that it was cancelled when a colony of bats stopped nuclear testing.

This book is full of wildly inappropriate images of bats being burned and gassed by nuclear scientists. It also has lots of ominous Soviet-style pictures of nuclear missiles with "USA" prominently written on the side.

As a children's book, it misses the mark. As political agitprop, it is preachy and crude. I was astonished to read the author's bio - if this is a sample of her judgement, I'm amazed that ANYONE let her stay around pre-K kids for 30 years.

This book is what happens when extreme politics trumps common sense. This is a book so bizarre, and stridently silly, that it could only have been written in the 90's.

This book is terrible. It has only the most minimal of information, with building addresses, but no property managers, no specifics on amenities, no detailed unit information. Basically, this book just contains some extremeky generic information along with some amateurish looking graphics as filler. If you are looking to rent, then Gabriel's apartment guide is a much better resource. As for sales guides, I have yet to see one that is worth the money. The NY Times online has some good information about recent sales by neighborhood.

The worse book I ever had to read in college. It's boring and pervertive.

About ten years ago, I tried to read this book.It's so bad, ridiculous, absurd, bogus, bigoted, that I didn't finished it.
The core's idea of this "trash-book" is that catholic chuch(Pope included) has a strong alliance with Soviet Union.
Put aside the fact that this trash-book is completely outdated, it's also completely wrong and absurd about this subject.
As history showed, the Pope John Paul II, helped very much the fall of Soviet dominance, in Poland and all Eastern Europe.And this happened about ten years, after this bad book be writen.
