Phenomenal. One of the best soccer books I have ever purchased. Detailed, well argued, well presented... the works. Horst Wein is on another level.

As a Brit living in the US who had played soccer for many years, I became involved in coaching youth soccer (U10) a couple of years ago. I purchased numerous books for ideas on drills and approaches to teaching soccer. I consider this book to be one of the best! It includes 5 different levels of development models to take kids from 'basic abilities and capacities' through mini-soccer, 7 v 7, 8 v 8 and 11 v 11.

All of the drills are well illustrated and explained. I have personally used most of the drills in the book. The narrative explain the characteristics of children at various stages of development and how best to develop their play from basic concepts to team play. If you are serious about 'teaching soccer' and not just running drills, I recommend this book!

I received a didgeridu from a mate of mine in Australia and she sent it along with the John Bowden CD and this book. The combination of the two made it very easy for me as a beginner to grasp the instrument. I would recommend the read to anyone interested in starting, as I did, or even a seasoned player. For Digimon fan(atics) like me, this book is very helpful. Not so much for the "let's see if I got this card" kind of thing. It's more of a pictorial reference for me. Plus, if you just want to "have" the cards without spending too much money, they're all right here. A peek at the new cards is in the back, including Season 2 Digimon. In all honesty, this book is already outdated because all new sets are out. If you're looking for quick picture reference, this is the book for you.

If your kiddo likes Dirk and wants a very basic book about him--ths is a cute one to add to their library! Of course it doesn't tell yo anything you don't already know if you are a Dirk fan--but the kids will like it for their collection on this wonderful sports idol!

My children are very happy with the product. They read while they listen to the music. It is all what I have expected from the product. It is a big book.

Okay; so it was a silly title.

This is your typical golden book, except one thing; it features the Mighty Ducks characters. The story is followed very nicely through the use of very little text and wonderful color illustrations, very much true to the show! I reccomend seriously picking this one up before it's gone!

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Rome, Venice and Florence. We bought Whitehot Productions Self Guided Walking Tours from Amazon a few weeks before we left and we were so thankful we did. The Doge Palace is a must see when you are visiting Venice and the Audio Guides realy added to our enjoyment of this historic building. The narrator, in easily understood English, clearly explained the history and importance of everything we were viewing. Our traveling companions were constantly asking us to explain to them the things we were seeing tgether. Don't go to Venice without this guide. We wish that Whitehot Productions had finished their guides for Rome prior to our trip.
