For Organizers Books

This is a great product. It is very well made. It fits the plug on the LG phone (LX150) perfectly and does not heat up appreciably during its use and provides appropriate power levels for charging and/or use while in the car. It was shipped quickly and we were told accurately when the unit would arrive. Finally there are many ripoffs out there being advertized as being of this quality and they aren't, so be cautious! Finally, to boot, this was not at all expensive as most cable type charging units tend to be! On LG's own website the same item (advertized to be made by LG) for the LX150 was $30.

I purchased two of these for our LG Chocolate phones. The price was excellent and the chargers are just as described. They charge more quickly than the LG wall charger that came with the phone. Highly recommend this car charger and the seller. Great service!!

This is another addition to one of the best literary projects to come along in quite some time...Poetry for Young People. This particular work of course deals with the works of Carl Sandburg. It is illustrated by Steven Arcella. The book, as with the others in this series, starts with an introduction to the poet. This is good stuff alone. It is good to know something about the author of the work you are reading, and children, probably more so than adults, need this information. This volume includes Sandburg's Fog, From the Shore, Young Sea, Last Answers, A Sphinx, Little Girl.. Be Careful What You Say, Margaret, Arithmetic, Plowboy, Monotone, Phizzog, Mask, Summer Grass, Summer Stars, Sky Talk, October Paint, Old Woman, Buffalo Dust, a Coin and Doors. I certainly am not going to remark on the quality of Sandburg's work. Those who read him will be well aware of this. This collection though, is upbeat, delightful and gives a pretty good view of the poet's range.

The art work which accompanies the poems is very appealing and relaxing and very well executed. Like the poetry, it has a dream like quality and is a delight.

This is a book which is perfect to read to your child or to an entire class. Poetry has fallen out of fashion in many of our schools now, which is not only a shame, but I feel almost a crime. Our kids are missing so very, very much. This little edition is an ideal start. It, and the rest of this series, should be in ever school library, in every class room and indeed, on your kid's book shelf. I do highly recommend this one.

I love this book. It I so up beat and moving. I find this book moving far into the future of young peope and i hope to see it on my childs desk.

I'm a 7th-grade social studies teacher, and I lived off this book when we were studying the ancient world. Middle-grade teachers (7th & 8th grades) are always looking for more interactive activities to use with their students. Evans's book is easy-to-digest, clear, and accesible enough to be easily applied to most classrooms. Activities are relevant, fun, and hip enough to keep most early teens interested. The tone doesn't talk down to either students or teachers. An indispensible resource for any interactive classroom!

Ms. Evans' book is a wonderful way for upper elementary and middle school students to hone internet research skills while studying and learning ancient history. The book not only engages students in interesting and worthwhile activities, but also provides useful and appropriate links to sites chock full of relevent information. The activities include well-written text that brushes the dust off ancient tombs and brings early peoples to life! This book does a great job integrating technology and social studies curriculum. I'd love to see more books like this developed for other content areas.

I gave A Survivor's Guide to my friend who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and she said it was the most useful gift she had ever received. She said the book was informative and positive when she felt overwhelmed and afraid. And just as the book claimed, in just ten minutes, it really helped make difference. One of the best self help books out on the market. I keep it right on my desk for easy access. I'm glad I found it.

A lot of these activities can be done without the computer, simply because most of the information is a normal textbook. The sheets are illustrated when necessary and great for use with upper elementary or middle school. There are hands on projects as well as quite a few cross curricular connections for those of us who are expected to teach more than one subject.
