For any one interested in the subject, this book will give a comprehensive account of the subject. The editors did a carefull selection of scientiest to write the chapters which cover the entire field of asphaltenes from microstructure to colloidal behaviour and more. Perhaps the best merit is that after his publication almost no research paper on the matter goes without making reference to this book

You may know a lot about the stuff, but here can find the frame where to put everything. A lot of real answers coming from someone that did a great deal of "perspiration" on the issue.

This book is complete, detailed, structured & full of good information that is easy to follow. It is the best book that I have bought on the subject of maintenance management to date, and is now one of the few constant companion books that travel with me. I would recommend Asset Maintenance Management to anyone in any field of maintenance management. At least one of the articles has a definite electrical diagnostic slant for our electrical bretheren.

My only criticisms would be that the spell checker wasn't functioning particularly efficiently at the time of editing, and I've noted that at least two of the graphics have been partially cut off at the base. Finally, this book is based entirely around fixed processing plant, and as yet have no seen no applications of the information to mobile plant.

In closing, maintenance principles, philosophies, strategies & tactics are roundly universal and this book is a "must-buy" for anyone of any maintenance persuasion seeking to continue down the road of Continuous Improvement.

As an apprentice machinist, I have been looking for a book that was up-to-date and something that would show me die-cut, grinders, jigs for my metal work. This is not only the only book I've found, it is full of great illustrations, which helped me on the first job right after I bought the book. Even if you just fiddle around w/metals in your garage, you're going to get a lot out of this book. People told me to look for the name Audel and now I know why.

I authored this book in 1973 while employed as Research Director by the Australian Industries Development Association (AIDA) in Canberra, A.C.T. Australia. AIDA was sponsored as a research body by the larger manufacturing companies in Australia to research and offer informed commentary on existing and proposed federal policies impacting industry.

The book was compiled from archival information provided by these private companies -- many dominant in size within their particular industry and often the oldest company in their industry in Australia as well. This contribution by AIDA members complemented other historical sources, including archives in the Australian National Library dating from colonial days onward.

Subsequent to the publication of the book, AIDA honored a request by Grolier's "Australian Encyclopedia" and contributed this material, broken down by industry, for use in that publication as well.

Excellent comprehensive and detailed book for a novice or professional. Great diagrams of all systems. You must have some knowledge of how an automobile functions, but if you do this is the book

E' uno dei migliori testi su Inventor. E' molto dettagliato e ben curato. Spiega molto bene l'uso di Inventor dalle cose più semplici fino a quelle più complesse. Tocca praticamente tutti gli argomenti coperti dal software. Se si desidera sfruttare Inventor in modo pesante, è un testo da leggere fino in fondo.

"Automating the Arc Welding Process" is buy far, the best book I have ever seen about the subject. Although the copyright date is 1994 and many technological advances have occured since then, the information in this book is still very accurate. I am ordering copies of this book to give to potential customers who are considering purchasing their first robotic welding systems.
I currently own a business that specializes in the integration, sale, installation, and repair of robotic welding systems. I have worked with Motoman robotic welding systems since 1979 but I also have experience integrating Fanuc and ABB robotic welding systems, robotic plasma cutting systems and automated square wave plasma welders.
