This group puts together a wonderful message of how to manage group meetings with heart. They give clear examples of activities
that can be used to defuse conflict, enhance team effectiveness, and methods to monitor yourself and your team for leaving
your baggage behind and achieving group synergy. If yours is a consensus-oriented organization, or you'd like to begin using
consensus-based decision making, this is a great book. See also their book specifically for meeting facilitation, "The Art
of Facilitation".

This book is fantastic. It puts many issues in the proper perspective, it has helped me to be a better and smarter business
thinker. The case studies are fantastic. They made me think about all the great things that are happening as well as how corruption
occurs. Especially the corruption sited in the case concerning the AVECS Healthcare bid in Arkansas involving EDS and the
Department of Human Services. This was during the time that Bill Clinton was govenor in Arkansas. It is a must read. It explains
why we have a national healthcare problem.

After reading (or fumbling through) many other books on project management, I have to say that "10 Steps to Successful Project
Management" is the easiest to digest and most logical in terms of presentation. As a business owner who frequently has to
take ownership of diverse projects, your book has been a great help. Kudos!

An amazing amount of wisdom in a small package

This book contains some surprisingly profound ideas on how to hire and retain the best people for your organization. There
are some great bits of wisdom on recruiting, selection and interviewing from a broad spectrum of contributors. Also are some
great ideas on motivation, communications, rewards and recognition, and even how to ensure employees depart in a way beneficial
to themselves and the organization.
The book is essentially the capturing of organizational best practices. Each of the 101 ideas contains a page or two of information. Sometimes this is a quote from an executive or expert in the field, and often is a fairly detailed tactical approach to execution of a key principle.
Highly recommended for being far more than it appears it would be. I would think that regardless of your level of expertise in human resources practices or managing people, you will find something new here. I was impressed with the choices the author made for contributions and presentation of unique ideas and approaches. Well done!

There is no longer a need to pay some lawyer $400 to research basic human resources legal questions. This book anticipates
hundreds of frequently-arising human resources problems and provides answers in easy-to-read charts. You don't have to have
a legal degree to read it, either. All fifty states, as well as United States Territories, are covered in a thoroughly-researched
manual. Its a bargain. Every company with employees should own a copy.

The Zen of Groups is written in simple language and makes complex and subtile issues clear and easy to understand. This gives both the beginner and advanced facilitator or group participant alike access to understanding and making a useful difference in the dynamics of any group.
The Zen of Groups also has a section of tools and processes which can be applied to assist groups which are stuck or not acheveing their purpose to move forward.
I highly recomend this book to anyone wanting to develop a greater understanding of the the dynamics of groups. I use it all the time as a resource in my practice as a professional facilitator.
