The book is an in depth, emotionally touching expression of the strongest human emotion, and the ideal level of communication in which we all aspire to reach in order to express that which is hidden, untapped or merely the lack of being unable to communicate the treasures that lie within the heart.
The gentle and tender expression of H.Thomas Saylor's poems have a way of melting the heart and is a refreshing fragrance of purity, truth and hope that transcends this expression.
Thank you H.Thomas Saylor for your gift from the heart!
This book is a MUST read for all who are single or in a committed relationship. It gives insight and direction in how to have a deeper, more meaningful relationship by communicating.

Informative and Enjoyable book on Early ChristianityReview Date: 2008-01-05
The book is a fast read and the author kept my interest. Each section was concise though informative. Information about the region's climate and background stories of some of the key players helped flesh out the familiar story. The book also contains numerous photographs to help the reader visualize the places the author is writting about. Maier avoids sensationally radical theories or over-literalism that mar many works on the same subject. Overall, an enjoyable book about the rise of Christianity.
Good Background InformationReview Date: 2007-10-01
The third part of the book, on the early church, is not as well done. There is less historical and archaelogical information brought into play. It was still pretty good, just not as good as the first two sections.
Still, I would recommend this book as one to help build a foundation.
A Must read.Review Date: 2005-05-19
A Christian history teacher's reviewReview Date: 2007-05-14
"In the Fullness of Time" continues this tradition. Maier has basically consolidated 3 other books into one larger volume (with a few changes) and he discusses the first Christmas, the first Easter and the ministries of the early Apostles, especially Paul and Peter.
Maier does a great job of bringing actual documentation that supports the stories of Christmas, Easter and the Book of Acts. He includes the works of Roman and Jewish historians, explains Roman and Jewish religious and political practices and deals with alternate theories that have been proposed. While this could be dry reading, Maier makes it lively and this volume reads more like a novel than a textbook.
So, who is this book for? If you are a well-read Christian who has looked into many of the facts that back the New Testament as it is written on your own, you won't find much new ground covered in this book. The internet has lots of this information scattered about. However, you are unlikely to find sources as concise and as well-written as this one. Plus, if you are interested in further research, it is well-documented with tons of footnotes.
If you are a new Christian or are newly interested in the history behind Christianity, this is a powerful introduction.
I give this one a grade of "A"

Life is made up of patterns, and once we understand those patterns, we can take charge of our own destiny. Suzanne shows us how to determine our personal life pattern, including our Soul number (experiences from a past lifetime), Karmic number (lessons to be learned in this lifetime), Gift number (the gifts and skills we bring with us from previous lifetimes), Path number (the path of this lifetime), Destiny number (the destiny for this lifetime), and Year number (showing wich cycle we are in for the current year).
Suzanne also addresses multiples of numbers appearing in an individual life pattern, how to chart the dynamics of family relationships, the difference between a Soul Mate and a Twin Ray, and so much more!
At the end of the book she has included a section on prominent people and their numerological patterns that is very telling!
"Integral Numerology" is written in a fast paced, reader friendly format. It doesn't take long with this book to see yourself in a whole new light!

Decoding The EssenceReview Date: 2006-02-08
The essence of each card within the Tarot comes to life in these meditations. The focus is on the Seeker, and how the energy of the Tarot appears in their life, rather than on a card that exists outside of themselves. This promotes two very important things: a healing for the Seeker, as they integrate their internal energy, and a deeper understanding of the cards themselves. Once the Seeker internalizes this energy of the cards, any work done with them will flow freely.
The Seeker is taken through each of the cards of the Tarot: Trumps, Court Cards, and Pips. Through a meditative journey, they meet the archetypes, come to a realization of what their personal relationship is to each of the archetypes, and integrate this energy into themselves in a safe, supportive environment. After the journey with the individual Trumps, Wagner takes the Seeker on a journey that shows how the energy build from card to card. This would be the journey of the Fool, and it is an awesome journey.
These meditations are based on the Thoth Tarot deck. There are some major differences between the Thoth deck and the widely used Rider-Waite deck (i.e. the inclusion of three Magus (Magicians), and a somewhat different titling of the cards), but I feel that the quality of this work stands on its own, and could be used by all Seekers, no matter what their deck of choice.
I have to mention the music - it is so superbly done that it becomes a part of the "safe environment" that Wagner creates for this journey, rather than standing out as "music" on its own. Kudos to Derek Keith, the gentleman responsible for this part of the journey.
This gracious tool of meditation is not a "one time use" tool. Life as we live it is a series of cycles, and part of each cycle is integration of the energies that we are working with. I can see these CD's being used by individuals, by groups, in a client setting, as well as in a formal counseling setting. Wagner has created a knowledgeable foundation for integrating the archetypes of the Tarot, and their wisdom, in a completely safe environment. This CD set is an investment in your own mental health - one that you will not regret.
Integral Tarot Meditation CD Set by Suzanne WagnerReview Date: 2005-11-07
I've always been fascinated by the tarot, but never felt adept enough to use it without reference materials about to help me. These two CDs offer my best hope of marked improvement in recall and facility. For me, even more powerful than the application to tarot is my experience of inner remembrance and healing as Suzanne gently guides me inside. This thrills me doubly, because it was such an unexpected bonus. I'd recommend the CDs for that purpose alone, regardless of your intentions for learning and using the tarot.
Suzanne's voice is calming and pleasant as she guides the process. Derek Keith's music playing in the background is lovely and uniformly appealing throughout.

THE BOOK on number theory---BUY IT!!!!Review Date: 2004-07-03
Nice intro to number theoryReview Date: 2007-03-13
I agree that this book should be in the library of anyone serious about the topic, however, if you are beginning your study of number theory from scratch there are other books that may provide a better start. I would recommend Joe Roberts "Elementary Number Theory: A Problem Oriented Approach" and/or "An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers" by Niven, Zuckerman, and Montgomery.
Roberts offers a wide spectrum of problems, with detailed solutions, written along the lines of Polya & Szego's "Problems and Theorems in Analysis I & II". Nivens book is a solid traditional introduction.
It is fun to read Hardy and Wright though, it exhibits a style that is sadly missing today.
I have to say in closing that it would be good to ignore some of the previous reviews, specifically ones making reference to "idiots". They're unproductive, miss the point of reviewing, and exhibit a level of ignorance which Mark Twain identified years ago: "It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt."
Superb Introduction for the Mathematical SophisticateReview Date: 2006-08-08
The authors also present deeper material than is usually considered an introduction. Their presentations are excellent but require sophistication for the following topics among others: quadratic fields, generating functions of arithmetical functions, Selberg's proof of the Prime Number Theorem, and Kronecker's theorem.
This is a book to buy and keep provided you have the necessary mathematical sophistication.
Final note: this book nicely complements Apostol's Introduction to Analytic Number Theory.
One of the greatestReview Date: 2005-01-10
No one writes like this anymore. Mathematicians like Hardy have passed. The subject has ballooned, and now you have to specialize within Number Theory. There are fewer and fewer that can posses knowledge of the entire subject of Number Theory. Remember what Harold M. Edwards said. You have to read the classics, and beware of secondary sources. Authors give their own spin on ideas. And who is to say they have a greater or lesser understanding of the subject. Furthermore, who can determine how well can they express themselves. How many mathematicians our days bother to study grammar and literature? The best example is Gauss' Disquisitiones Arithmeticae. Would you rather read a book written by Gauss himself, the man that established the subject? Or by some one who learned what some one learned what some one learned over a period of 200 years? Also know what Axler, author of Linear Algebra Done Right, said about reading mathematics books. For a mathematics book, if you spend less than half an hour per page you are going too fast. The last thing i will say is again attributed to Edwards. In his book on Advanced Calculus he encourages the reader to jump chapters. A book does not have to, and sometimes it should not, be read in order. It may take some practice to see how you need to jump around, but you will find that you can maximize your reading by doing so.
There are several point in which this book excels. First, in the writing style. Second, in how many ideas it introduces. Or how good an understanding the reader obtains of Number Theory. It is invaluable to have the big picture. Third, the author has in mind the future material the reader will encounter. He knows you will go beyond this book, and prepares you for what is to come. You do not enter higher courses blind.
The writting style is representative of that of Wiles and Loiville. It will show you how your mathematical writting should be. It takes a lot of practice to learn mathematical formalism and how to write proofs. This is the book to learn from. The author is not afraid to connect the ideas you are learning to other advanced ideas and to mathematical history, unlike present day authors. If you plan to be a mathematician, you must know its history. The writting is in a mathematical sense superfluos. It does not assume you are a genius, but strikes balance between what you should know and what you should be told.
The book is successful in providing you with the big picture, and how ideas you are learning reflect one ideas you will learn or have already learned. Having a big picture of the subject, which he describes in the second chapter, lets you know what you are learning now and puts the entire material in context. Gives you great perspective of the subject. Because a great deal of branches of number theory are discussed, you are not only better equiped to choose which branch might interest you, but it eases the transition to more advanced courses, such as Analytical Number Theory.
The author from the start discusses unanswered questions in Number Theory. I know alot of professors which think that the student should not be exposed to questions that surpass his mathematical knowledge. They are the weak mathematicians. Mathematics is about exploring and breaking limits. You should know what is beyond your reach, and the reach of every one else. The questions that still stand might be answered by some one that was intrigued by the challenge of answering them when they are helpless to do so. Fermat's Last Thorem is such an example. The guy learned it at the age of 10.
The last thing i will say about the book is this. Number theory has one scope. Namely, prime numbers. This book make it clear that the purpose of number theory is to determine the properties of numbers. It discusses the limitations of mathematics in attaining answers to Riemann Hypothesis, Fundamental theorem, trancedental and irrational and algebraic numbers, and so on. The book is, in my opinion, an expansion of the section on unanswered questions. And in doing so many more questions are asked and analyzed. There are prime numbers, and nothing else.

The Holy Grail of Graph TheoryReview Date: 2005-08-16
It has several examples throughout and the presentation is excellent. Many books on mathematics from this 'era' tend to be overly wordy and full of poorly explained examples and topics. This book suffers very little from this problem.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a good introductory book on Graph Theory. It also makes an excellent reference book for even the experienced individual.
Chemistry, Neural Nets, Matrix Manipulation -- all hereReview Date: 2003-04-04
Chartrand uses applications from every field of interest (e.g. finance, Chemistry, Physics, games, social psychology, computers, etc.) Who would have thought that while reading a math book that a friendly discussion of social psychology would pop-up? Well, that's how Chartrand is able to keep us moving through the pages; he uses the common to reveal the mysteries of Graph Theory. Who doesn't know about the Tower of Hanoi or the Knight's Tour or the one-boat-fox-and-chickens problems? All of these classics make for ready connecting points, leading us into profound restatements of well-known problems. Not much space is devoted to creating artificial problems for which we must be convinced need solving, and so the book is rather thin (a real bonus for those of us who don't want to spend a month in a math book).
Picking up the book after having read it so long ago, I was happy to find that the chapters are nearly autonomous and can be profitably read by themselves -- so keep it as a reference and jump in as the need arises, you'll be both entertained and mathematically illumined.
My only complaint is that the writing style is rather thick with mathematical lingo (seemingly) for the sake of being technically pithy. I am not convinced that such is necessary for a good math book.

But it's not really meant for people like me. It really is a lovely book for worshippers of the Isiac faith, and is aimed at becoming a practitioner. Isis the Great Mother, Isis the Goddess of Magick, Isis the Lady of wisdom these titles fit her suitably. M. Isidora does a beautyful job of describing the Great Isis. She describes her worship in ancient times. How in the ancient world her worship spread throughout Egypt, Rome, Greece, Romania and many other parts of Europe. She tells the myths of Isis, her history, and how through out the ancient world and to the present about how people love and worship her. Isis is the magician, the initiater, the warrior queen, the goddess of those who travel by water, the Goddess of mothers, the Goddess of children, the Goddess of love, the Goddess of marriages, The protectress, she is this and many more things. The auther describes the plight of women in the ancient world and the history of the queens of Egypt and the famous queens the Ptolomy royal family. She describes many of Isis' aspects even her Black aspect. She tells! how the Golden Dawn and many other famous magicians adopted Her.She describes people's love and experience with the goddess Isis. She also describes how Isis became a prominent Goddess in the ancient world. She has some info on Nepthys, Osiris, Anubis, Set, Ra, Horus in this book as well. She has two parts to this book one is the information on Isis the second part is the rituals that allow you to dedicate yourseld to Isis step by step. The second part you start out as the votary of Isis, the next step is becomming the handmaiden or servent of Isis, when you are ready you become the magician of Isis, then you become the prophet/ess of Isis. Even if you have been her priest/ess of Isis for a long time or a priest/ Goddess there is nothing wrong with starting the rituals as a votary (where there is humility there is no room for the ego) The rituals in this book are lovely. The Goddess Isis is alieve in this book! For those of you who are witches/magicians you may enjoy th! is book, for those who are interested in learning about Isis or the Egyptian path than this is a great selection. For those who want to have more contact with the Goddess and the feminine power of the universe than this is a great book for you. The autho!r's love for Isis really shows by her dedication to this huge 624 page book. This book is one you probably will not be lending out at all! M. Isidora Forrest did a wonderful job with Isis Magic! She must have spent a very long time writting Isis Magic. This book is a true masterpiece. May Isis bless the author!

A stunning retrospective... Much more than Doc Savage!Review Date: 2007-12-22
I knew him only for his iconic portrayal of pulp legend Doc Savage, but there is a whole lot more in this book, covers for westerns, war stories, science fiction and even romance and teen novels.
The highlight for me, of course, was the Doc Savage section, with cover reproductions of every single Bantam Books Doc Savage novel with a James Bama painting. These covers almost cry out READ ME as they are filled with incredibly visions of adventure.
The book ends with a section of Bama's western themed paintings which is what he does nowdays, and these too are fantastic, evoking serene visions of cowboys, indians and wildlife, always with his characteristic realistic style.
