This book througly explains the working of an automotive suspension and gives good tips on how to diagnose problems on any vehicle.

I've found in many website design books, if it is too focused on technical information, it soon feels outdated. I'm pleasantly surprised with this book, since the information offered is mainly on how to design a balanced and aesthetically working website, suitable for any level of expertise in designing a website and for any purpose. I am an artist and love designing my own websites - with mid level technical understanding. To me, the basic knowledge & psychology of aesthetics is essential, and remains always the same - - it can never go out of date. This book has a large focus on that. I highly recommend this book.

I particularly enjoyed the flow of ease of the book, explaining from the beginning what the book is about, and how to use it, with clear and easy to understand tables and images. The authors have kept their promise.

great book. easy to read, understand, and apply. purchased because it is required reading for a graduate school class i'm taking. teacher highly recommended it. the video and cd rom that accompany this book are terrific learning tools.

This book comes with a CD and video. It offers excellent definitions and examples of group counseling skills. In addition it offers a number of written scenarious and exercises to practice understanding counseling responses. The video has a women's group counseling session and an adolsecent group session, The book has a script you can follow which helps to understand the responses of the counselors. The DVD offers shorter scenarios of group counseling that provide more examples of how to respond in different situations.

The book, video and DVD are easy to follow and understand. I highly recommend this book set to anyone who is a student of counseling or a beginning counselor.

The Batman and Robin Cartoon Maker is a great tool to bud young imaginations. If you have children in your household who love the Adventures of Batman and Robin cartoon, then grab this great program.

Not finished with this book but so far a witty and insightful book which focuses on graphic design beyond printed matter. This book explores the world of digital graphics and looks at new dimensions of graphic design and how designers will become part of a dialogue with the public. A scenario in which they receive feedback from an audience and perfect there design solutions based on feedback from viewers reactions etc.
And of course Heller has become an authority on Design Culture so this book is informed and up to date.

Definitely get the book with audio CDs. This book is very easy to use and learn from (you just have to keep yourself motivated and pick it up at least 2-4 times a week!). The audio is great for help with real pronunciation. Some things in this book are very formal (compared to how my boyfriend and his friends speak) but you have to learn a language starting somewhere! I also suggest the same publisher's "Beginner's Hindi Script". It starts you off with how to write and basic words and lessons to get you warmed up.

Having to grapple with a language with an entirely different structure to English whilst living in Japan, I chose this book having used the German counterpart earlier. I found `Beginners Japanese' to be perfectly paced & practical for everyday living. Starting out with the basics, Helen Gilhooly teaches you useful Questions & statements in believable everyday conversational situations. Without the use of difficult grammatical terminology, she introduces different ways of using the language & slowly builds up vocabulary which can be applied to what you have been learning. Before long you are making up your own sentences & applying them to necessary situations.
If you're into a lot of technical Grammar, then pass this book by, but if you want to learn how to speak Japanese quickly, without necessarily knowing the workings of the language,(I don't know the workings of English!) then this book is a great resource.
