I picked this book up just to browse it for my daughter who's 10 years old. Honestly, I couldn't put it down. I was totally caught up in this very touching story! So I did purchase the book, but I'm not sure if I bought it for my daughter or for me!!!

Jan Ozer has done it again. A well written, easy to understand book is a "must have" for anyone using MyDVD. Book has lots of visuals and is written in such a way that even the average user will be able to use MyDVD to the fullest in no time at all. Very reasonably priced also. Two thumbs up!
MyDVD is now a complete product!

An absolute must for MyDVD users. Where Sonic has done a great job in software design, it has failed terribly in documentation. Ozer has filled that gap with a book that takes you from A to Z with easy flow and great use of screen captures. Highly recommended. It is the documentation Sonic should have included with its product.

This is by far my favorite english book I've ever had! The content is organized so well that it's incredibly easy to find whatever you're looking for. I didn't even have to really read anything because I could so easily find what I was looking for. Very nice! The language is simple, concise, not inflated, and straight to the point. Very easy to understand.

Read this book with great interest, it clarifies lots of lies.
History is usually biased and in the case of Columbus it is not only biased but confused and erroneous. Finally we have a book that investigates and tries to unravel the confusion and cover up.
One thing is for sure Columbus was not an Italian. Columbus was NOT EVEN HIS NAME.
A must read...hopefully soon it will be in English.

In «Prefácio»

Whether you want to create printing and craft projects using your computer, make your own DVDs and CDs, or just become more familiar with XP, this book has it all. It is written in a fun, easy to understand way, but non-offensive if you are a computer expert already. It's the perfect reference book that all homes should have on their bookshelves. Wow! Another great addition to all the wonderful things that you can do with your computer. We especially enjoyed the section written by Jan S. Smith - Printing Projects Made Fun and Easy! Her attention to detail, and instructions for completing the cool projects were extremely creative, cratsy, and helpful. It really was fun and easy! We were able to create any project, and learned that our computer is able to do many things that we used to have printed by professionals. It is fun family time to complete these projects as well as exploring the book for next week's endeavor. Thanks Ms. Smith . . . . your'e both intelligent and glamorous. We loved the cute little kitty cat animation best of all because it reminded us of our aunt that we don't often see!

I used to spend at least a full day putting together PowerPoint presentations for our church service (both song service and for the pastor's sermon.) A friend bought the Oxygen starter kit for me as a gift, and now it only takes me an hour or less to do everything! I like how they've already designed different slides with the same theme, so all you have to do is add the text rather than having to reposition everything yourself to make it more visually interesting.
In addition, the artwork is beautiful and I've had many people come up to me after the service saying that they found it uplifting. My only complaint is that I didn't find this sooner! :)
Fast and easy, with high quality artwork

The Oxygen Church Media Starter Kit is a terrific resource for worship leaders and pastors. Besides having some great pieces of art that are perfect for my church, this CD-ROM puts them all into various backgrounds, saving me and my volunteer team a lot of work. In addition, the product has some tutorials for getting started using multimedia in church.
I've shared this CD-ROM with several of my pastor friends, and received some great feedback. The artists who put this together have clearly done their homework. If you're looking to get started with using multimedia in your local church, check out this resource.

When I ordered the book I had no idea how much I didn't know about sound, sound equipment, and sound software! This was a very fascinating book that explains the science behind what we hear, then explains how to use the software to make music sound better. Parts of it were beyond my level of understanding or even need to know, but the part that dealt with the software I use was particularly helpful. As a basic user of the old Cool Edit Pro (now Adobe Audition, I believe), it helped me understand how to improve the sound files I record. For the more advanced user of that and other sound software programs, there's more than plenty of information to really tweak audio files. I may just do basic stuff now, but if I decide to do more later, I've got the book to lead the way.

First, the installation of this software was a breeze and very quick. The application interface is brightly colored and completely user friendly. It includes a tutorial by Peterson himself, a skill building game that helps sharpen your identification skills, and the ability to add multiple life lists. The life list feature was very easy to use and was the selling point for me. The software also provides direct online access to Peterson Online for great information. You will send hours browsing the nearly 1000 bird species presented in color photographs including Peterson's unique arrow system. Once you select the bird, detailed information about breeding, range, sound and other information is presented. I've seen software packages that cost an outrageous amount, but this very low priced software is a really a gem.

There is nothing worse than medical text using drawings. In real life you will being dealing with the real thing....why not see the real thing in your textbooks! I am a first year nursing student and I must say this book has been an excellent reference guide. No more lugging around huge nursing books for reference purposes. The book is clearly worded and is illustrated to help the beginner. The organization of the book is excellent as well, allowing you to find what you need to know in a hurry without having to flip through hundreds of pages found in bigger books. An excellent guide for anyone in the healthcare profession.
