I love this series of books. This one is great to give a host or hostess as a thank you for their hospitality. It is a beautiful and simplistic book.

From Williams-Sonoma, "Thanksgiving" has 40 essential recipes that you can count on to be delicious. Thanksgiving is all about the experiance of enjoying home cooking. Learn to make a no fail classic roast turkey, or Hickory-Smoked Roast Turkey with Horseradish-Apple Sauce if you want to get fancy. All the side dishes are here and maybe some new ones too including wild rice and chestnut stuffing, butternut squash Soup, dressings, breads, cranberry sauce and more. A whole chapter is dedicated to the important staple "potatoes" and they varied ways you can prepare the humble spuds. Sweet Candied Yams are here too. Desserts are not forgotten such as Creamy Pumpkin Pie
One of the nice things about this company is that they include large color photos of their completed dishes, and these help with presentation as well. The recipes are accessible and easy to follow for any level cook. You will rely on this book every year, a worthwhile investment. And it looks prettier on the shelf than most cookbooks I have seen.

Three little robbers share their talents. They also learn to share all they have with a small, lonely woman who sits in the dark with only one apple to eat and a cat to keep her warm.

It is fun to see my second-grade granddaughter reading a chapter book all by herself. She enjoyed this story and wanted to read it again for me, then for her older sister and her uncle.

We enjoyed the lessons taught by Christine Graham and the illustrations by Susan Boase.

A great gift for the groom-to-be and the father of the bride. We laughed at "wrong" way to communicate and toasts. The ideas were presented in a fun and easy-to-enjoy format.

using it along with Weddingchannel.com and Emily Post's Wedding Etiquette. This ring bound organizer is great because you can take all of your planning info, contacts, notes, etc. everywhere with you. Also, it's not stuffed full of someone else's ideas of what you need to make your day your own.

A great travel resource, I read this after a trip to Ukraine to better understand interactions we'd had. Boy, do I wish I had read it *before* traveling. I will make a point of seeking out country-specific books from this series to get a jump on transitioning to a new culture.

We all know how overwhelming and confusing, not to mention expensive and exhausting an event like a Bar Mitzvah is, but this handbook REALLY helped to simplify and clarify the entire process. The "Ultimate Handbook" is simple and beautifully designed, yet extraordinarily comprehensive, and helped me to organize, budget and track EVERY possible detail relevant to planning the perfect Bar Mitzvah. I found it to be invaluable.

A friend gave me a copy of this book as a holiday gift. I read the book and was in tears laughing so hard. I do love bathroom humor and this is truly the ultimate bathroom book. My friends and I sing the bathroom etiquette song parodies in Chapter #9 for karoake parties and they're absolutely hysterically funny. Many of us have kids, wives, friends and even ourselves, can be bathroom abusers, and thus can relate to the books material. I encourage anyone wanting to help others with bathroom etiquette issues or just to give a great gift, that this is the perfect gift. Every one of my friends, family and colleagues now has received a copy from me as a gift.

I've seen Clark McGinn perform at Burns Suppers -- he knows what he's writing about! Wonderful.

I was dazed and condused by all the prom magazines out there. This book had everything I needed to know--dresses, makeup tips, hair styles. And I used it as a journal to jot down my ideas and budget. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in pre-prom stress mode.
