Orndorff and Clark team up for some stylistic, yet appropriate and useful writing. As a young person having to deal with managing
others, the PITA Principle is extremely relevant. The varying types of PITAs hit home the characteristics of all the different
situations and people in the workplace. I found myself cracking a smile as I related different types of PITAs to people I
work with on a daily basis.
In addition I found myself cracking up laughing as I read the characteristics of PITAs that hit home in my own personality and managing style. This book doesn't just point out problems; it offers ways to help solve them. I also liked that it didn't go too far, in that it did not claim there was a sure fire solution to dealing with this problem. The PITA Principle clearly identifies problem characteristics, and uses real world examples as well as strategies to deal with the difficult nature of these traits.
In many businesses, the varying PITAs can be a major disruption. Lucky for us, the doctors (orndorff and clark) are in to offer the remedy.

Please, Wonderful Mommy is the story of two children who love their mother but aren't terribly good at showing her. In fact,
they're rather terrible! They demand instead of ask, they expect to be catered to, and they never remember to say thank
you. It isn't because they don't want to be kind... somewhere they simply forgot to be respectful of their mother and came
to expect the way she did things for them every day. Enter their uncle, who clearly notices their lack of respect at dinner
one night. As he insists, the kids giggle as they not only say, "Please Mommy," but now say, "Please WONDERFUL Mommy!"
My children (ages three and five) giggled along, and we now often smile as we remember to be polite and appreciate other
people, even inside our family. In fact, I read it to a group of teenagers, and their parents have been quite happy with
the response! Please Wonderful Mommy is a delightful (and slightly subtle) way to remind your children of two of the values
you want them to hold close to their hearts... respect for others, and gratitude. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

This is a pocket edition, so the book is small. Nevertheless, it's jam packed with information. There's all the information
everyone needs to look up first--namely, who pays for what, and what the contribution of a divorced parent should be.
It also covers the basics about the ceremony itself, including how to decide whether you want a large, formal wedding or a small wedding. Once you know that, you can read on about how to decide how many members will be in your wedding party and who will have what responsibilities.
The book also gives advice on pre-wedding parties, such as showers and the bachelor party. Who pays for what? What is custom, and what is considered vulgar?
The last chapter even tackles weddings for brides who are marrying for the second time, or for those who want to renew their vows.
Altogether, for such a small book, it really answers just about all your questions.

I work in an elementary school library. We always use this book as an example for "Poems" when teaching about poems. The
poems are fun for children, and not to long. The rhyming is fun and of course kids can relate to the "food" items they rhyme
about. I would recommend this poem for all beginning poem & rhyme readers. Have fun-read a book!

I bought a copy of this title when my sister got married in 2002 and she was thrilled to have it. Mrs. Knab deftly sorts
through centuries of the various matrimonial customs found in Poland's different geographical regions and presents them in
a manner which allows the reader to easily appreciate them all. Especially helpful (if one is planning/helping to plan a
Polish-American wedding) are her "Touch of the Past" chapter endings in which the author recommends ways to make some of the
seemingly useless or insignificant "Olde World" customs a part of a contemporary wedding for Americans of Polish (and proud,
at that!) descent. It's only a pity this title's gone out of print; hopefully a paperbound edition will make its way to printing
at some point in the future! Thanks, Mrs. Knab!!!
