This book had lots of good content, the only problem is that none of it applies to the test. Test 933 for the USPS doesn't include 99% of the information covered in this book.

Study algebra, Analog electronics, digital electronics, and blueprints (technical drawings), and you will ace the test. That is of course, if you have some practical hands-on knowledge of tools for general maintenance work.

There are only 2 or 3 questions related to the blueprint.

this review manual did little to prepare me for the real maintenance mechanic exam put on by the usps. it gave me a false sense of preparedness.

This is an article from a February 2005 magazine which reviewed "Qurb" software. It appears that you might be purchasing the software, but it is only a 960 word copy of the 2-1/2 year old article. This has absolutely no value. If you are interested in Qurb, as I was, and you find any site selling it, you will get all this information including the features which have been added in the 2-1/2 years since this was written. I was totally discouraged that Amazon would "Sell" a reprint of an old magazine article. If you want to give away six bucks, put it in the the plate at chuch next week. You'll feel good about it. Buying this will only make you feel bad that a good company would list and sell anything so totally devoid of value.

Piazza claims that the user can effectively apply a client-side filter against incoming messages; to block spam. He suggests using a typical email client like Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes, and using a filter againt the subject line. So you [the user] can block against subjects that a spammer might write.

This "solution" was ineffective when it was written in 2002, let alone now. Don't be fooled by it. Spammers have known from the get-go to write messages with multiple subject lines. So that a given message, with a given body, can have many, many subjects. One way is to randomly add characters at the end of a (long) subject. Or to generate phrases from a dictionary. Or to use deliberately innocuous and ambiguous phrases; some of which you might get from your actual collegues or friends.

WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BOOK. THE TITLE MADE IT SOUND LIKE IT WAS MAINLY E-MAIL ADDRESS'S, BUT YOU GET VERY FEW COMPARED WITH THE SIZE OF THE BOOK. AND MOST OF THEM WE HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO CONTACT. SHIRT SHOP@AOL.COM

...the paper it was printed on. This was discounted, I snatched it up without a thought or look inside. What a mistake. Even at this price it was one of the worst computer book purchases I have ever made. How can this book be called a complete reference when it does not even refer to PST file anywhere in the table of contents, index...or anywhere in the book that I could find!!!

Multiple typos, basic advice. Fine if you are new to email, but for anyone who has used it for more than a week pretty worthless.
