If You Really Want Wholesale, Look Elsewhere

The book's title is rather misleading. While there are some wholesale businesses in the book, they are in the vast minority. If you are a bargain-hunting consumer then you might find this book helpful, although your local yellow pages will probably work just as well. If you are looking for real wholesale resources, check to see if your local library has a directory, or make the $200-300 sacrifice and buy your own. This book was a waste of my time and money.

Bargain Shoppers Dream!

Buy Wholesale by Mail lists incredible companies with unbeatable deals. Many companies I've never heard of combined with some well known favorites. I searched through my favorite topics, bookmarked them, looked up listings with websites, and had a fabulous learning experience. From buying chickens and farm items, locating auto parts, or remodeling the house-this book is your ultimate resource guide. Why would you pay more, when you can buy it wholesale? It's worth every penny!

This may be a good book for bargain hunters who are looking for discounted goods, but legitimate wholesale requires a license and a retail resale number.

Just when you thought magic had pulled its last rabbit out of the hat, along comes this charming, witty & thoroughly modern books of spells. The perfect present for people who need a little day-to-day help (I can't imagine who doesn't!!!!), E-m@gic is sure to make your family and friends giggle and then sigh with relief. Of course, that is if you are willing to part with the practical magic in this delightful book.

This book is fantastic. The easy-to-follow spells are highly imaginative, combining household items with meditative thought processes and action steps for getting what you want. For all teenagers addicted to cell phones and e-mail - this is a whole new way to stay connected to forces outside yourself.

This book is absolutely dreadful! Not only is it silly, but nothing works. If it were possible to give negative stars, this book would surely deserve it.

This little book has proved very useful! Instead of a folder with website and e-mail addresses torn out of magazines or jotted down on scraps of paper, I write them in my Webshark Address Book. Then, when I want to check out a new website, return to a useful one or send an e-mail, I can find the address very quickly.

Always a bit cautious about a book that I have not heard about. Only through this medium have I even become familier with it's author. Before I get started, like anything else, the rewards are given to those that deserve, and before I go any further I must have the author contact me via my E Mail. Then we can discuss the merrits of what he has written and offering, still to me unproven. The rest is up to him to make contact. Thank you and good luck. Burt Richards, theatre-travel-news@juno.com

After Interviewing Mrs. Steve Allen ( Jayne Meadows and their son Bill Allen) for a feature story in my Celebrity Feature in " Simply The Best Magazine ", I got more of an insight of what the book is all about from them as well, and all I can say in reading it, you come away with the feeling that not only was Steve Allen the most talented man in America but pretty dam smart, and comes out with it all in the Book on the VULGARITES that the children are hearing and parents are not aware. Makes for 5 star reading. Steve, also did a very smart thing by marry ing JAYNE MEADOWS ( Mrs. Steve Allen ) as she called him the WIT and herself the ROMANTIC. I hope you get a chance to read my Review Jayne, your feature will be coming out shortly. Love Boca's Burt Richards

I detest writing negative reviews, but when the author says the following on page 230. My hands are tied.

"I do not in any instance give you enough guidance to duplicate any of the rituals. The native Americans would be rightfuly displeased if I did, amd I would be breaking confidences."

If Mr. Mails did not have permission to release accurate information he should not have written the book!

Now to my minor nitpicks about the book.

I was personaly offended at the title of chapter 4 "Marauding Apache".

On page 189 Mr. Mails talks of women as well as men being pierced in the sundance. Both sexes may participate in the sundance but only the men are pierced.

On page 211, 258, and 259 the author discusses the Sioux medicine wheel, and he lists different colors associated with the directions.

Page 211& 259: West-Black, North-Red, East-Yellow, South-White.

Page 258: West-Black, North-White, East-Red, and South Yellow.

Page 258 has the correct color associations according to Nick Black Elk's vision, and these same colors are shown on the cover of "Native Wisdom" Ed McGaa.

I have no idea why the author would have the colors right on page 258 and wrong again on the very next page.

Thomas Mails, a well known artist, spent most of his adult life painting Native American subjects and recording their vanishing culture. In Secret Native American Pathways Mails provides valuable information on Native rituals. A friend of some of the great Native American shamans and holy men of the last century Mails preserved much information about the spiritual paths of Native people. Mails died several years ago but the legacy he leaves in Secret Native American Pathways is invaluable and thanks to him will survive.

This book helped me a lot.

I loved this book.

My sales weren't as good as I needed to reach my goals, and I was getting discouraged. I purchased this book and learned many skills to improve my cold calling, initial meetings, and closing skills. Stephan Schiffman takes you through the entire sales process and helps you identify areas of weakness. He teaches you responses to objections when you are cold calling via telephone and provides many different scenarios for application of his techniques. One primary benefit of the book was that I could apply what I read immediately.

This book helped me improve the number of closes I was making by giving me appropriate questions to ask when I was in the initial meetings. This new way of questioning has enabled me to truly tailor my product and presentation to the specific needs of the prospect, and as a result, many of these prospects are now my customers. I have also been able to schedule more follow-up meetings.

The previous review states that Mr. Sciffman has simply re-written a previous book, but since this is the first book of his I have read, all of the information was new to me.

I have given this book 5 stars, and will be referring back to it regularly. I also purchased Stephan Schiffman's "250 Sales Questions to Close the Deal."

I think this book will benefit anyone who is not getting the results they want, and knows that something must change. This book helped me change for the good.

Same things for the 35th time

This is the perhaps the 35th book Schiffman has written, and he's done it again!!! He's managed to re-write the same book, and still get published! There's nothing new here - don't waste your money. He's said the same thing, with the same stories, in every one of his other books. And, amazingly, he still clings to the notion that cold calling is the most effective way to sell. This book is nothing than a commercial for his tired sales training programs.

I have a folder in my e-mail inbox that contains countless stories I've received that I can't bear to delete. You know, the stories that touch your heart and tickle your funny bone, and you want to send them on to your friends (and maybe even some enemies).

This little volume contains the best of them. Now I can 'forward' this book to my mother on Mother's Day, my best friend on Sweetest Day, my boss on Boss's Day...you get the idea.

What a treasure!
