This manual has all the information needed to develop a detailed employee manual. The CDROM contains a myriad of forms, ready to use. In addition, there are references for files that should be maintained, along with information related to Federal requirements. For a small business, this is an excellent tool.

This book should be considered the bible of all canning books. It has detail instructions that are easy to understand. I had never canned before this book, but everything I have canned since has turned out perfect. It has some of the most wonderful recipes for jams and jellies. It even tells how to pickle foods and make sauerkraut. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to can. Expert canners might even learn a new thing or two. Enjoy your reading!

This is the best publication for anyone in law enforcement or corrections that explains what you need to do when detaining or having a foreign national in custody. This should be accessible to every peace officer so they could look up the foreign national's country and see if they are from a mandatory or non-mandatory notification country. There has never been a time in the history of the United States when the U.S. Dept. of State was more interested in this information being used by law enforcement.

This is an excellent midcentury anthology of Modern Jewish thought. Among the thinkers featured are two who are perhaps the greatest Jewish thinkers of the twentieth century, Rabbi Abraham Yitzhak Ha-Kohen Kook, and Rabbi Joseph Soloveitchik.

If you suffered through wildfires this season, you can use all the information that you can get. This DVD is very informative, especially the last part, about community-based "Fire Safe Councils."

This was the first cook book I ever owned. I was a newlywed at the time and my mother-in-law bought me this book. She knew we were on a limited budget and didn't have much of a food allowance. I was working and quick, simple, easy to make meals were the perfect solution.

This is the easiest to use, most compact, and straightforward text of the information presented in a handy size that I've ever found. It tells you want you need to know for each of the exams discussed and information about your job/position that you might not have come across beforehand. But, as the authors say in the introduction, nothing is better than practical experience.

If you fish, or just wonder the waterways of MO, this book is a wonder. Combine it with the "Fishes of Missouri" and you will find out more about the animals below the waters surface then you would have found out in a lifetime. Unlike most academic style taxonimic works, Mr. Pfliegers books are interesting reads unto themselves, with easy to navigate identification guides, deatils on were animals have been found, and interesting facts about each. They are worth finding and using! I referenced it in my own work.

Excellent article. Well written, plenty of facts based on a translational analysis of Borges's as well as Reiss's proposed designation of styles. It beautifully "connects" literary and general, everyday, real-life translation. Very solid analysis of Borges's viewpoints on Translation and the author's own ideas --based on empirical facts.

Interesting history of a small town police department. The book works its way through 100 years of history, from the founding of the town of Ruston in 1884 to its centennial celebration in 1984. The stories of early lawmen fighting bootleggers and their influence and Bonnie and Clyde's visit to town are highlights. Lots of photos and great tidbits of history in this little book.
