A DDS and PhD from Walter Reed proves that dentists poison themselves when they drill in amalgams, Hal Huggins documents that blood counts go crazy when amalgams are inserted, someone else points out that the electro-magnetic fields that result from amalgam fillings are as strong as having a high-voltage power line above your house etc, etc..

Excellent and easy to use tri-fold user reference that is also well designed. A great "getting started" tool for a new user.

Well, the book is classic, it has very good information on design of mineral washeries, coal mines and design of lates equipment in mine. The papers presented were detailed and were presented by many peole from various countries. A must have for men and women in the mining field.

This book is mostly one page descriptions of the life and ministry of many of the Catholic religious orders. Included are addresses of Vocational Directors for each orders reviewed. A very good book for men considering the Religious Life. Valuable information!

This book is a valuable resource in ministry through the lens of evangelization. I have found it to be very informative and gave me new insights that I have never discovered. Every minister should have this book.

This is the new official Siddur of Reform Judaism. The book is extremely well laid-out and user friendly. As an over-55 user I find the font size a bit small but still readable. There is a large-print edition also.

The leaders of the Reform Movement have made a collective decision that the original leaders went WAY too liberal in their reforms and largely "threw the baby out with the bathwater". Over the past few years there has been an on-going concerted effort to bring the entire Movement to a much more conservative position, both theologically and ritually, including reintroduction of substantial use of Hebrew in Reform services. The new Siddur is written from this perspective.

Large parts of the book follow one of two patterns. Each two-page set deals with a "matter/subject" and there is a light blue page border. If the border is a box with rounded edges the two pages are considered one "item", e.g., the words of L'cha Dodi take up two pages. On the other hand, if there are straight blue lines at the top and bottom of the page the two pages contain four "items", from which the leader chooses one. The upper right hand corner will contain fully-punctuated Hebrew text on the right and a transliteration on the left (deliberately laid out that way so no one can tell whether you are reading the Hebrew or the transliteration). Below that is a good English fairly literal translation. On the left facing page there are two somewhat freer interpretations.

I don't know why Amazon shows it as "out of print", since it is used in Reform temples throughout the U.S. It should be available directly from the publisher.

This book is great. It has a lot of information that is not in other books that I have read. It has contacts to all of the record pools (so you won't have to pay a DJ to play it) all of the music conference places and he explains what one is. He also give you some VALUABLE information that 98% of people trying to break into the industry don't know about talent shows and open mics. If you are serious about your career, buy this book because it is very helpful. It is a short book, I must admit, but it does have some good infomation.
