I'm starting my own business and had no idea where to start with getting the word out. The only way it could have been better is if it actually did the work for me. Armed with this information, people will "think" you must have someone on the "inside" as you deftly maneuver your way through super radio deals. Listen to this audio presentation and when someone asks whether you know someone on the "inside" just say yes and smile.

The techniques and their applications in using radio for publicity are nothing short of brilliant. Only someone with the relationships that George is known for could have gotten this rich information from these pros.

Batra explains why free trade and regressive taxation have not led us to the nirvana of universal prosperity promised by establishment democrat and republican politicos. He presents an overwhelming mass of evidence to bolster his conclusions. Dr. Batra is a brilliant and incisive thinker who really is concerned with the welfare of the little person. To read this man is to know that the elites in the media, financial, and political spheres are lying, self-serving tyrants. Read this book -- and learn the reality of modern American economic history, a reality that is intentionally obscured from our view by the powers-that-be.

Dr. Ravi Batra has, since the late 1970s, been offering some of the most thought provoking analysis of economic developments in the US and the world at large. In 1984, he suggested that increasing concentration of wealth was behind the speculative bubble in asset markets (The Great Depression of 1990). In 1990, the Federal Reserve proved successful in infusing the economy with money (and low interest rates), thereby saving the banking system from collapse, while ensuring a repeat run-up in stock prices. While this action by the Fed helped stave off Batra's prediction of an economic collapse -- he may very well still turn out to be right -- just witness the unfolding crisis in Asian stock and currency markets. In the 1990s, he has also warned about the effect that free trade in goods (and a free flow of investment) are having on manufacturing employment as laid-off manufacturing workers are re-employed in the services sector at, typically, a much lower wage, thus explaining the drop in real household incomes of American families since the early 1970s (The Myth of Free Trade). In The Great American Deception he warns us about the unfair shift of the tax burden from corporations to individuals in recent decades and its likely effect on the economy. One could say that he confirms Oswald Spengler's insight that when big money calls the shots the sole purpose of commercial laws and regulations is to accommodate the desire of the large moneyed interests to accumulate more wealth, no matter its effect on society at large. Dr. Batra is a great thinker with vision and the courage to state necessary truths, no matter how controversial. Indeed, if it weren't for thinkers like him we would be at the mercy of CNN and Business Week to understand what's really going on in the world. This is a book that shines the light on complex problems, but with simplicity of exposition and plenty of factual substantiation. A must read for concerned citizens.

The author tackles the big economic thinkers and ideas, one by one. He has done amazing historical research in order to debunk all the popular myths about the economy, myths he feels are perpetrated by economists beholden to rich clients. He takes no prisoners in his attack on regressive taxes and free trade (you know, the money goes out but it doesn't come back). Better than a boxing match.

I thoroughly enjoyed these recipes. The foods are appealing, the recipes are easy to follow, and the outcome is fantastic. The nutritional breakdown for each recipe is very helpful.

I am always on the hunt for a cookbook that will help me keep my families' health and taste in mind. Well I found this just a few weeks ago, and I'm glad I did. The first dish I made was the Five Vegetable Primavera. I served it over Angel Hair Pasta and created a new favorite at my house. I love the recipes that I have tried to date! The recipes are good and good for you. But the best part is the family likes them. (it's a mircle!)

Ms. Kostas provides a great introduction wherein she discusses the basics of sound nutrition. Then it is on to the recipes. Although I haven't counted, there appear to be about 200 individual recipes which fall into 11 separate catagories. Literally there are multiple recipes for every occassion.

This is not a program of deprivation. We have been sampling Ms. Kostas's recommendations for the past six weeks. They have been outstanding without exception. In my case, it has also helped me to shed the extra pounds. I highly recommend the book to anyone that wants to eat well, but healthy.

Gary Zukav has a very special message about life and a unique perspective in how to live it. I haven't read what he has to say in any other book. I also wish that all school systems would require this reading by their senior year. Our family uses the information from this book in our everyday life and it has helped all of us. We recommend it to everyone.

I read this book in 2002 and enjoyed it so much. It is very interesting and helped me acquire more information about myself and my emotions. I am more conscious of my behavior and emotions. I highly recommend this book and any books by the authors. I am a massage therapist and now I am able to share the life-changing information with my clients. The two authors, Gary Zukav and Linda Francis did an excellent job by delivering a simple, yet useful book for everyone to enjoy. The information may seem unrealistic initially, although when applied to everyday living, it works.

I purchased this book for a young boy age 13 and I also have one myself. This book and DVD is an excellent, fun history lesson for a child or pre-teen to reference at his or her leasure. It's an easy read and a great reference for people of all ages who want to know more about the Negro Baseball Leagues! A must have!

This book preserves an important aspect in the history of baseball and in African American history, and it does so in a riveting way. A sincere and fascinating tribute -- and a handsome one, to boot.

Dr. Phelps makes such a brilliant and provocative case for the biochemistry of addiction. You either have the "bad" genes or you don't. It removes the stigma of alcoholism etc. and brings the issue down to understanding your biochemistry and managing it appropriately. Although I don't smoke, drink or use drugs, I discovered through the questionnaire that I am a High Addictor (based on family patterns of addiction). Sure enough, when I removed seemingly harmless foods from my diet, (sugar, white rice, white flour, caffeine), my focus sharpened dramatically, I lost over 15 pounds, and my emotional mood swings stopped. I managed to maintain this "eatting program" for over a year. Regrettably, I fell back during the Holidays and have yet to fully re-establish the discipline that made me feel so MUCH BETTER! You'll be glad you read this book, and like me you will recommend it to countless people. A companion book that has a similar content, though for weight loss is Mastering the Zone by Barry Sears, Ph. I've always thought economics was a dry, theoretical subject area. HOW WRONG I WAS! Ms Edwards makes the topic crunchingly relevant and digestable. The key concepts are clearly explained and related to recent events. I never knew how economics contirbutes to shaping our community.
This book has left me with a sense of urgency regarding economics. Government policies matter, not just for short-term budget balancing, but for long term impacts on how we think and act.
The autor's experience at the upper levels of the public service gives startling insight into why our politicians only seem able to create mind-numbingly similar 'solutions' to still unresolved problems.
A first-rate read. (Especially if you know an economist and you need some educated ammunition to argue your point!)

One of those books that expresses perfectly that gut feeling you have in your stomach that something is not quite right. Highly recommended!

This is a good book. It doesn't get bogged down in economic language or take too long to read. It provides a historical context to the last few decades of Australian politics and the way things have been done. It takes note of the relationship between the Tax Office and it's bureaucrats and those on the edge, the back bench Members of Parliment, and outer government agencies.

It goes into detail of the nature of Economic Rationalism. Although we may feel we understand it, this book gives examples and help us understand that which is around us but not necessarily understood. It talks about people, and how people see the world. It doesn't humiliate those of either side of politics and doesn't dismiss the beliefs we, or they have.

It is however, focussed wholly on the Australian experience of politics and the economy. This may put some international readers off, but on the other hand we already have enough books about how the American Market works. This book provides a good balance for those of us not under the American sphere of influence.

I found this book after making a terrible mistake in my marriage. The next day. I read it in a couple of hours, and the ideas helped me keep my marriage together and healthier for two more years. I cry a bit every time I read the introductions. I try to give this book to every person I want to spend time with. And also those entering into a new relationship.

I reccomend it highly for teenagers, new lovers, old lovers, just about everybody.

The new edition really wants a new title. Part 2 of 2. Something to let people know that it really looks different. Missing all my favourite bits. Still a fine book, but definitely not the first book I would give to people. The 1st and 2nd editions are essential to appreciating the 3rd in my opinion.
I have been buying copies of earlier editions to give out to friends. Third edition in reserve for later dispersal.

It imposes on us an obligation to recognize the rights of others, and adjust our needs to blend in with those of the society we live in.

To assist couples in meeting the obligation of recognizing the rights of others, two tools are recommended by the authors. These are The Negotiation Tree and Cooperative Problem Solving; each one is explained in detail throughout the course of the book. If each is practiced diligently, a couple will find that they can indeed be free as individuals and still meet each other's needs.

Relationships need both partners to constantly strive to make it a success. To allow them to get flabby through lack of effort will only lead to apathy and disaster. We all need to be loved, cherished and respected. "How To Be A Couple And Still Be Free," shows the way to achieve a life long relationship that meets couples needs.

This is a book I cannot recommend highly enough. Tina B. Tessina, Ph. D and Riley K. Smith, M.A. indeed have created a masterpiece. All couples should read this book at least once during their lives. They can only enrich their lives by doing so.

A wonderfully concise book that challenges the misconceptions of the public regarding dental health. While the dental associations continue to shroud the truth, it is fantastic to know that there are dentists out there who are keeping up the fight to expose the profession with regard to its lies about fluoride and amalgam(MERCURY!)fillings. The dental associations also go out of their way to conceal the fact that cavities and jaw deformities are the direct results of inadequate nutrition. No-one need have another filling! This book is a good follow-on from the ideas first put forth by Dr Weston Price ('Nutrition and Physical Degeneracy') in the 1930s. A must read for parents, dentists, and everyone else!

This book delivers what it claims to do: our whole family has achieved better dental hygiene and health through Dr.Kennedy's recommendations! Foremost, it gave us hope and confidence that we as patients can do a lot for our dental health. The book contains very detailed advice on dental hygiene (including that for children and people with gingevitis) and offers detailed explanation of various treatments for major dental ailments - with a stress on holistic practice (and its difference from the old-school one). Without it, my children would have had mercury amalgams; my mother would have gone through unnecessary surgery for her gingevitis and I would have received a major dental treatment on my amalgam-laden teeth during pregnancy! Thanks to the book (and its fantastic reference section) we have found a holistic dentist who helped my mother non-surgically fight her gingevitis and who advises us on every aspect of dental health, ensuring that we have the most gentle treatment and minimal intervention and rely largely on self-help measures. This book continues to help us and numerous other people! It is #1 in our health library.

The editors do a great job taking writings from diverse journals and magazines and putting them into a great anthology.

One subject area flows well into the next, and we are brought further and further down the road of a very terrifying trend in modern capitalism.

Even if your goal is to become a CEO, read this to understand just how corrupt and twisted is modern business. Read it to understand what kind of pact you are making with Satan.

As a former corporate CEO and advocate for getting special interest money out of our political system, I found this supporting my goals and was naturally drawn to it. It contains many essays adding weight to the subject.

Campaign funding allows corporations to get away with murder (sometimes literally) and it's just a matter of time before the public rebels strongly enough by throwing the current breed of politicians out. This book gives them reason to make that sooner rather than later.

This is a collection of articles brilliantly composed. Factual quality and research depth reflected by these well-written articles are impressive and respectable. A light touch humor made the reading even more enjoyable - at least for those who are not offended by the truth about corporate America.

From global warming issue to deceptive schemes in marketing strategies, the over-the-law and Enron-flavored attitudes of corporate Ameica were finally addressed and brought to the attention of the public. This book deserves to be a part of all students' education and thus, should be introduced to all highschool and college students. My 16-year-old really enjoyed the book and has lent it out to many friends.
