Beautiful book that will give someone ,who is about to restore one of these cars, an idea of exactly which pieces and colors go where they are supposed to. This is not an easy undertaking, but this book Plus several others will make the job more enjoyable.

This is a beautiful oversize full color book that finally display's the TR7/TR8 in the light it deserves. It is well laid out, illustrated , and thoroughly enjoyable. This book is very useful to anyone who likes politics. It has all the senators, Representatives, members of the supreme court, and everyone inside the white house. Buy this book as a gift to the political junkie in you'r life.

Despite, or perhaps because, the illustrations are somewhat stylised, but beautifully set with foliage and flowers, this book is a classic coffee table book (if the table has strong legs!). It will be purely by accident if it helps you identify birds you see (and will take up your whole knapsack if you took it into the field!) but it is a joy to turn through, sensuously, in front of a log fire, remebering those very days in the field and remembering how long birds have been on earth and how long we have watched them.

And, sacreligious as it may seem, at USD30, buy two and take one apart to frame and line the walls of your study.

A classic in every sense of the word!

this is a great book for anyone who loves birds. the john james audubon birds of america books are a classic, and this set is no exception. the books are filled with beautiful full color plates of 100's of birds. the set also came with the sleeve to protect them, it makes a great gift.

This book provides a wonderful understanding and profound appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices of Dr. Edward Bach to bring us these beautiful, natural, simple essences. It provides insight to Dr. Bach's character and drive, and his compassion for those who have put trust in his genious to offer simplicity in healing.

`The Original Yoga' by Shyam Ghosh contains clear translations of three major Sanskrit texts: The Shiva Samhita, the Gheranda Samhita, and the Patanjali Yoga Sutra. What makes this translation so outstanding is the consciousness of Shyam Ghosh. When you read enough translations of Sanskrit texts it becomes obvious that some translators have experienced what they are writing and others are in the process of becoming the wisdom and knowledge contained in these primordial writings.

Shiva Samhita Chapter 5, Verse 101
"He who neglects the Shiva (Atman) installed within him and seeks the one installed outside, is like a man who casts away the morsel of food in his hand and goes round looking for sustenance elsewhere."

Verse 216
"To the yogi who regularly practices this form of non-attachment, the word `I' has no meaning, for he sees everything around him as his own Atman."

Shyam Ghosh was a man of great humility, a retired Government of India officer who died in 2000. When he was asked for a biography he simply replied:

"It is the truth that matters, not the utterer of the Truth. No Truth ever becomes a bit truer even when repeated by the most distinguished person. Hence all genuine aspirants of yoga should be content to remain unknown and unnoticed by others.

Shyam Ghosh also published an excellent translation with commentary of the RGVEDA for the Layman (Munshiram Manoharlal Publishers). Here is a sublime example of his translation of the famous RIG Veda hymn, the Gayatri Mantra:

"That eternal flux of Vast Intelligence, which comes as a distributed radiance of light, is indeed worthy of adoration. May that ever impel our own thinking forward.'

I highly recommend `The Original Yoga' to you. It has deeply enriched my own inner understanding and I am sincerely grateful to Shyam Ghosh for his contribution to my own journey on the path Home.

Howard Zinn not only makes history worth reading - he makes history. Historian, political activist, octogenarian and bestselling author of A PEOPLE'S HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, he has been interviewed by Alternative Radio's David Barsamian (alternativeradio.org) a number of times over the past decade; and this latest publication is a collection of eight radio interviews between 2002 and 2005, showcasing Zinn's current thought on such issues as the bombing of Afghanistan, the occupation of Iraq, the so-called War on Terror, civil liberties, militarism, modern warfare, imperialism, economic inequality, privatization and, of course, the role of civil disobedience in an undemocratic society. Although, in the words of some critics, Barsamian merely asks `softball questions,' this book is clearly not aiming to persuade or cajole the reader. Rather, the format is more like one of F.D.R.'s fireside chats, or a friendly dialogue between Socrates and Crito. However, these are not mere theoretical musing. After his experience as a W.W.II bombardier, Zinn has led an active career striving to bring about real, concrete social change as a teacher, veteran of the Civil Rights Movement and peace advocate. Zinn enthusiasts will find much originality in this book, up to and including the speech he gave at Spelman College in 2005, forty-two years after being fired for "insubordination." Zinn newcomers, on the other hand, might want to Start with A PEOPLE'S HISTORY in order to lay groundwork for much of the historical material discussed in this volume. Whatever you start with, though, you should definitely start. Nothing this man has touched should go unread.

William Hay has captured the horror of trench warfare in France and Belgium during World War I in the story of Bill Dawson of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.
It is a well written and researched novel of Canada's role in the war to end all wars. Hay shows the courage, the fear, the stress, and the anxiety of soldiers facing a formidable enemy as well as the dangers of extreme weather in the insufferable conditions of the trenches.
His characters are well delineated and unforgettable.
This is a great read!

This novel really drew me into the lives of the characters. I am terrible at writing reviews, but I had to try, to convince people that this was a book well worth reading. Why did I like the book? I guess for me it was that I really was impressed with the character development. For a relatively short book, I was drawn in very quickly, and to be honest, I read the last half of the book in one sitting. I was just really interested in finding out what happens to everyone. People who I would not recommend the book to are people who don't like "heavy" books, this one gets into violence and some pretty depressing situations, and people who are only into mysterys and very plot-oriented books; this is more of a Trainspotting or Catcher in the Rye type book; just a window into some interesting characters lives. I was really impressed by it and I am eagerly awaiting new things from this author
