The whole book has nothing but photographs of
tile designs, and that was what I was looking
for. Our multi-disabled children are studying
Spain and we used ideas from that book to
paint tiles. Thank you very much.

This book gives a wide variety of authentic Spanish tile designs - with no writing. The pictures are printed on only one side, quality, hi gloss paper, and is truly a beautiful book - far exceeded my expectations. I purchased it as reference because I was designing a Spanish tile design quilt. Very helpful.

If you are an artisan looking for unusal and beautiful patterns, I think that you'll enjoy this c.d., as well as the other ones from Paned Expressions Studio. The images are presented in both black and white and in color and can easily be modified to suit your needs or wants. I have enjoyed working with them and plan on purchasing additional c.d.s of his.

Just about every flower you'd ever want to capture in stained glass in this collection. These are the best patterns available today. Every piece so lifelike you'd think there would be a lovely fragrance emanating from the floral windows when you get them done. Every pattern is shown in glass to make choosing glass easier. Thanks so much for offering these great designs to the rest of us who can't draw!

If you like off-beat humor, then this is the book for you. However, I encourage you to read it at home - otherwise everyone on the subway or at work will think you are insane as you start laughing and snickering out loud. The author uses clip art to create comic strips in a new and creative way - each panel of the comic "strip" is the same - only the dialogue changes. I highly recommend this book (and the online strip).

Those unfamiliar with Rob's work may at first be shocked and horrified at his brand of off-beat humor. However, the tagline he uses, "A Webcomic for Grownups," is definitely a great descriptor and the comic in and of itself is a great diversion from "traditional" comics.

This tome presents the best-of-the-best from the first few years of the comic's existence. Those familiar with the strip will find many old favorites. Those new to the work will likely find more than one that will cause uproarious laughter long after the cover is closed for the day.

While it might not be something you'd give to your child for his or her birthday, it would likely be a great gift for your wry friend or fellow jokester.

Well worth the money! Buy it now. Hell, buy two and give one to a friend. Once you have a copy you won't want to give yours up.

I publish a bi-monthly newsletter on Africa and this book has been an enormous source of help. The graphics are wonderful and very true to life. This is no slick clip art but original works of art that capture the essence of the rural/urban life. I recommend this book wholeheartedly and it has now become the most important book in our office.

There's an awful lot of clip art around these days, mostly on CD-ROM. But it's nearly all Western-oriented: blue-eyed blondes answering telephones, and that sort of thing. There's very little that can be used in developing countries, suited to the needs of development professionals, extension workers or health educators.

The author (a professional illustrator) has put together an excellent collection of her own black-and-white line drawings. It concentrates on health, but also has illustrations of many other aspects of rural development in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

I use it all the time. Highly recommended.

The spots in this book are amazing. What' more, there are over 1,330 of them. They cover everything: fruit, aircraft, people, animals, buildings, products, oysters, J.D. Salinger, industry, the decline of Western Civilization, sports and women's shoes. The spots chosen are of the highest quality and will definitely satisfy. Good book.

THIS BOOK IS A WONDERFUL RESOURCE. IT'S WELL ORGANIZED,EASY TO USE AND THE VARIETY OF CARTOONS WILL COVER ANY SUBJECT YOU MIGHT NEED. BUT MOST OF ALL THE CARTOONS ARE JUST PLAIN FUN TO LOOK. ITS A MUST HAVE FOR THOSE LEARNING CARTOONING, OR DOING DESK TOP PUBLISHING.

Excellent , excellent quality on these cd images. This isn't a huge book but has a pretty nice selection. The images print out big and beautiful.

I've been looking for motifs to use in polymer and metal clays for jewelry, and this book has a stunning collection of faces. It also has several wonderful Hiroshigi's and Hokusai's (particularly and ocean wave I'm fond of). While I'm not sure that the designs will work out as transfers, the book is still enjoyable. I found several artists about whose work I was previously ignorant. Something new to contemplate.

This book and CD is another in the line of great royalty free works of images. This time, it's fashions from the great designers of women's wear 1950-2000, ranging from everyday wear to evening gowns.

These Dover book/CD ROMs are a graphic designers delight. It's so hard to find good quality graphics that are royalty free, and not end up spending a fortune. Dover has a good selection of royal free images that are presented in a book and are on CD ROM.

The images in the CD ROM is in full colour and so dazzling. 140 large images in TIFF format. Sharp images ready to use. Great for Paint Shop PRO. You don't have to scan, the images are there. You don't have to install some program. Just open them from you CR Rom Drive.

Great resources for writers looking for 50's, 60's and 70's fashions.

I had been looking for a source for silhouette art. This book filled the need and then some. I found I can also adapt for stencil usage as well.
