This is an excellent book to learn Microsoft Powerpoint 2000. Consisting of well written text as well as hands-on exercises, it is an excellent tool for anyone entering the business field. We are currently using the book at University of Miami and the results are positive.

Great reference for everyone that wants to get started to Access. The book is full of examples and exercises.

This is a overlooked book, not to many know of it.But it's great. It does not give you any tips or tricks, but it nice to look at. Most of the stuff is done in Photoshop and it's a great book for photographers, since it shows a lot of extreme (worked on) photos. The overall tone of most of these pieces are 'dark' and they are artpieces, not ads.

A Fenced Yard is a book that will make you laugh, cry, think and remember some of the changes and challenges we went through as teenagers and through our current status in life. The characters takes me back to a time when I was in college and the challenges I faced with relationships,college and how I handle them. A Fence Yard is an easy book to read. The chapters have an easy flow to them which made it hard for me to put down. I read a Fenced Yard in two days and I am telling all of my reading friends to get a copy of this wonderful book. I hope to read some of Mrs. Harris Smith new work in the near future. Continue to keep your work real. Women of today can see a little of herself in A Fenced Yard with the struggling of family, work and maintaining a few minutes of each day for herself. Thanks for a book that enabled me to reduced some of life everyday stress.

Filemaker Pro 3 for Macs for Dummies has helped me immensely in my business. I can't imagine an easier, less threatening way of preseting the material, yet nearly all important features are covered. Very highly recommended.

Once again, award-winning filmmaker Zed Saeed and friends have outdone themselves with the Final Cut Pro 4 Bible. With this book you'll learn everything you need to know about FCP, plus gain new insights about digital video production.

If you are just getting started with Flash or would like to know how to do some advanced things with it, this book is a must have. Flash can be somewhat difficult when starting out, but with this book and a cup of joe, you are good for hours of Flash Design!

This book is similar to Thomson Learning's Illustrated Series, where you have one topic simply explained with how-to steps on 2 facing pages, including illustrations. No lengthy explanations, not an intro book, you'll have to explore basics or "why" elsewhere; you just get the basic steps to do the task. And since that's what the authors intended, I give them full stars for achieving it with a book that's clear and concise.

Not your average Flash book! Basically it's impossible to read all in one go, it's properly dense. I'm not sure whether it's 100% relevant any more, there are countless more up to date books and but boy, has this guy done his homework! I checked out his website, too, and it's impressive. Never seen 3D stuff like this, graphs and even complex molecule viewers all done in Flash and all looking great. Component stuff is way too deep for me but sure they'll be programmers out there who need this depth. All in all, I'd say if you're a "serious" Flash programmer, especially if you come from a background other than design and want to know just how far you can push it, you should own a copy. I think it will run and run. Respect, James Smith!

Jumping into the flexographic world is a bit complicated. This book gives excellent descriptions and pictures for people who have no frame of reference. It made reading something like F.I.R.S.T. much more accessible.
