This is the comprehensive guide to the MySQL 5.1 Cluster Certification. The book is well formatted, written, and provides lots of guidelines that are hard to pick up by just RTFM-ing the manuals. The book starts with a discussion of what is high availability and what is not that is great for those new to the subject. Then it gets very heavily into the NDB aspects of MySQL Cluster.

This is not a book for those wanting to start administering MySQL databases as it is very cluster specific. But many of the general topics would be of value to any DBA.

The book is in sections and each section has test questions, plus the end has two tests. It has been helpful during my LPN classes this summer. It is easy to follow and has the answers underneath the questions with their rationales. It is a good price for what you end up with.

After looking for a book on Communicator I was impressed by the presentation and especially the price of this one. After just about one-third through, I learned a fist-full of better ways to do things, and it confirms my initial instinct that this was a good buy, even though I've been using Navigator and now Communicator since version 2. I like the structure and approach taken; there are good references to other parts of the book, so there's not much repetition. The frequent groups of "Tips" are good and tons of illustrations back up the claim to being a Visual guide. Although I don't use NetCaster and I don't expect to use Conferencing, I'm looking forward to learning better ways to use mail and news from the rest of the book.

this companion guide has a lot of things that the curriculum does not have, you'll find here all the missing parts for all the subjects in the curriculum definitely is a very important part to approve the course

This Study Course is everything you will need to pass the Network+ exam. The study guide is invitingly simple to read and learn from. I had no problems understanding the infomation that was given in the course. When it came time to take the practice tests the software showed me where my mistakes lay and gave me the correct information on the subject. Over all I feel MindWorks study course is the way to go if you are in the market to pass the exam.

It is an excellent book for beginners as well as for the professionals.
