I had the pleasure of meeting David Nelson at the Navigator 2007 conference for 911 dispatchers in Las Vegas, his classes were fantastic great man, when I got home I bought this book.!!!(david nelson is one of the authors)
Outstanding ideas for anyone who wants to be a great supervisor. It takes alot more than just telling people what to do and this book will help you with that!! I recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about becoming a supervisor anyone who doesnt want to be like the last supervisor you had!!!

Very few trading text have intelligent instruction on Elliott wave, fib price target projections, Indicators analysis, Tradestation programming, trading band methodology, trading plans, and trading systems all in one text. There is something there for all discipline levels and has much of what is needed in any real trading system except the customized methods each individual trader feels comfortable with. The author was very gracious with valid information, and this is a valuable reference book.

While most books on computerized trading systems were written by technical analysts and programmers, very few were written by a real-time disciplined trader. Robert T.H. Lee is all-in-one. Not only the book is well written and illustrated, the Glossary is well prepared and the Bibliography shows that the author is well read and a true expert in the financial field.

I laughed, I cried, I walked away a solid PowerBuilder Developer.

The book was soooo well written, it made it easy to learn PowerBuilder. I'd never even programmed before. Now I'm living la vida loca in San Diego, and I owe it all to the great, great man who wrote this book. You changed my life. If I could only repay you.

Instead of wasting your time having you build applications you'll never use, this book gets you into real Powerbuilder code. It takes time to explain some of the basics, but it is a well-written reference for intermediate to expert PB5 programmers. Excellent coverage of the new PB5 features and great help in migrating from 4.0! I recommend any PB developer to add this book to their library.

One of the best book I read on powerbuilder. it is a good learning book for the intermediate & expert PB5 programmer.

This guide is a must-have for all parents. The tools and tips are clearly explained and easy-to-understand. Most parents want to be more effective, and to build healthy relationships with their children, and this book is amazing in presenting ways to address the various challenges faced by parents. I've increased my awareness and understanding of why my children do certain things and how to effectively communicate with them. Way impressive! I plan to give this book as a gift to those closest to me that care for children. Bravo!

I used the information right away with my teenager AND my husband. Yes, the information works with children, but it also works with all people. The Seven Healthy Hats of Communication and Active Listening are two chapters or tools that make the book a great purchase. The more I use it, the more I like it. I am recommending this to everyone I know, not just parents.

They used to have this workbook at Sam's Club where I live and I purchased one for my daughter. When I went back they no longer carried it and had switched to a different one. I liked this workbook so much better than all the others I have found that I searched the internet until I found another one for the other child I babysit.

Inexpensive workbooks, $6.88 each. Full of colorful pages, plus reward stickers!! Easy to use, and the kids keeps asking for more pages to do.

It makes logical sense using bathing suits as a way to introduce places someone should not touch without permission and then touching is allowed only with a very special reason. It gives children words to use with their assertiveness around privacy
I have a 1984 first printing copy which is now well-used and crayoned. In my therapy practice regarding sexual abuse, it has been helpful to have a book that makes sense to children and does not create more fears. Many children have requested it to be read again because it makes a serious subject fun and nonthreatening.
Another useful feature at the end of the booklet is the one page practical guidelines for an adult in case a child is sexually assaulted.

This is one of , if not the best instruction DVD that I have ever seen . Bar None ! Very thorough .

I've tried unsuccessfully to learn Pro Tools for the past few years. Clicking around an trying to learn it myself was mind boggling, and I purchased books only to return them later because the information was too general, and the visual examples were outdated by the time the book hit the shelves.

This DVD is truly informative, and you learn along with Joe narrating the lessons from his own Mac. An extra DVD holds the lessons so you can follow along with him. He explains everything clearly and concisely, and if you have a question, you can jump back in the movies. The Lynda.com DVD navigation is great. You can jump chapters from the table of contents with ease. I recommend watching all the movies, even if you think you know the material. He has cool shortcuts you don't want to miss.

I had a little experience with ProTools beforehand, but I forced myself to watch every clip, even what I thought was easy. I learned that I was doing things alot harder than necessary and learned some shortcuts that sped up my workflow.]

I'm a musician and I wanted to learn about plugins, tracking, and compositing tracks. It got me up to speed within a week or so. I also found fascinating the lessons on voice work, micing, etc, as well as midi instruments. This is a thrill if you're a musician that once had to raise money to record a disc.

Pro Tools is one of those software tools that is easy to get lost in and the DVD medium is perfect for visual learning. Well worth the money. If you are a musician, do any kind of voice over, work for NPR, or are curious about recording and want to learn Pro Tools, this DVD has the answers you need.

One thing, it covers ProTools 7.3. Some slight differences between 7.3 and 7.1, so expect the Preferences Panes do not totally match. Otherwise, if you have version 7 you're ready to go.

Fantastic book. A very easy read,you'll find yourself turning pages quicker then you thought. Information is easily absorbed & relevent to Pro Tool 7 users in '06,even though this book is from late '04. I would recommend this book for Pro Tools beginners like me.

I recently purchased a Digi002 and had read another one of the top rated books out there, but this book is so superior. It takes you from level one all the way through so that you get a complete understanding of LE. Written clearly and concisely, this will be my reference book for a long time. Great book!!
