References and Standards Books

This book covers all of the main concepts you will need to know when studying history of the German language. It's very organized and was great help to me as I was getting my German degree. It was also the only book I could find on the subject in English at the time (this was 2 years ago) and had to special order it. Also- if you are using "Geschichte der deutschen Sprache" by Peter von Polenz in a class and are struggling with translation you REALLY need the Waterman! It will clarify much of the von Polenz.

If you are a German studies student this is a must have, but
even if you don't have a background in linguistics and are interested in european history, you are likely to find the Waterman fascinating.

This is a great reference for all who are looking for answers in any version of The Bible. Navigation is simple and accurate. It has become indispensable in my studies.

If you are looking for a nice travel size New American Standard Holy Bible with very readable print and indexed this is it.

This is a perfect Bible for anyone looking for the new Holman version in a large print edition. Type is easily read and my eyes are not as good as they once were. The leather cover is a good quality and the page edges are guilded in gold. Words of the Lord are in red.
It is larger than I expected and is quite heavy but I've gotten used to it and would not want to go back to my former Bible.
The Holman version is very readable and true to the original manuscripts. If you are in a SBC Sunday School, this is the version on the left side of the quarterly -- the KJV is on the right.

While working in book stores, everyone was always wanting a large print bible that was handy to carry and easy to use.......THIS IS IT!

I bought one these guys' other books about the Palm, and was glad to see the same format for an MP3 book. They tell you everything about burning, ripping, players, software, Web radio stations, and even legal stuff about MP3. They do these hilarious point/counterpoint arguements like they did in the Palm book -- very funny, guys! Oh and the reason I bought this book is there's stuff for bands and musicians about getting your stuff distributed on the net and making money from it. Rip the cover off, though, cuz that girl is WEIRD-LOOKING!

What a wonderful item! Both NAB and RSV versions of bibles are contained in this product. Many extras are included such as a beautifully illustrated section on the life of Christ. Both versions of this product contain illustrations throughout. The search function is invaluable when looking for specific words or phrases. You can limit the search to specific content in the software or include all content in the product. The authors clearly put significant thought and love into the Illustrated Catholic Bible. I highly recommend this product to everybody!!!

Mr.Pierce has researched this topic thouroughly and shares the foundation and evolution of communication design in an unprecedented format. The CD Rom which I have ordered with the book (usually extra) is a gold mine for graphic designers. I highly recomment this!
