Based on research into the sermon messages of Reverend William Marrion Branham (1909-1965), "They Have No Clue" is the explanation of current day Israel as an as yet unrecognized new spiritual realm, replacing the 2000 year gentile period of grace. Beginning with the Second Coming of God as an historical Christian event, the hidden realities are uncovered and supported with Biblical text. The New Revelation is obscured, buried deeply below mainstream Judeochristian theology. The New Millennium is Israeli and American destinies intertwined in an earthly New Renaissance, more startling and uplifting than the previous one five centuries before. Its theme is national and societal transformation, re-engineering of our human group- bringing heaven down to earth. The big picture perspective is from inside Israel looking out at the the global implications for the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

About the author:
Mendel Edwardson is a duel American-Israeli citizen. He was born in New York City in 1946 as the modern nation of Israel was emerging. An MIT trained management consultant by profession, Mr. Edwardson has long been active as a biblical researcher in Israel where he has maintained residence since 1975. "They Have No Clue" is his first book length publication.

Of high literary quality, this work is a shocking condemnation of traditional clergy religion. Chock full of scripture, both Judaism and Christianity are shown to be inadequate and no longer valid. The result is already observable failure for Israel and America as Islam and acts of nature punish these two leaders of what is now pagan Judeochristianity. Nevertheless, "They Have No Clue" is extremely positive and wonderfully hopeful. The hidden clues to an updated heavenly realm, in strict adherence to all Bible, along with its earthly new renaissance are just waiting to be acknowledged. Thank God.

Simply stated this is the best book on the subjects of the Offerings and tthe Feasts of Israel.

It is a 2 part book that had to be placed side by side to show the beauty of God's intent. This book is full of details if nothing else. The author divides each offering into 8 categories!! The Feasts are divided into 3 categories.

Even though this book is chock full of information, the author ALWAYS shows Jesus through each of the offerings and the feasts. The New Testament Jesus is revealed through the Old Testament writtings.

Will Christians' final destination be Heaven, or the Kingdom of God on a restored earth?

While rereading "Thy Kingdom Come" recently (Feb., 08), an interesting guest appeared on ABC Nightline, Bishop Tom Wright, one of the world's foremost theologians from England. He was talking about how Heaven is not the ultimate destination of Christians but a restored earth in God's Kingdom, where righteousness, justice and peace will rule. That is exactly what I had been reading. This should certainly motivate all Christians to make a difference in the Kingdom now.

AMERICA: "Amer" = Heaven, "Rica" = Kingdom (Kingdom of Heaven)Thy Kingdom Come.

These words are repeated as part of the Lord's Prayer in Christian churches and homes all over the world. These words give hope to all those who look forward to the return of Christ. But while many Christians have studied the life of Christ and the writings of His disciples, far fewer have a true understanding of God's Kingdom. Many have questions such as:
How do I fit into God's plan for His Kingdom?
What does the Bible tell us about His Kingdom and its laws?
Is the Old testament relevant to today's Christians?
Do the Covenants made with Abraham and passed down through Isaac and Jacob apply today?
What has been and will be the role of Judah and the other eleven tribes of Israel in His Kingdom?
How does America fit into God's plan for His Kingdom?
How do salvation, heaven, and hell relate to the Kingdom?
And many more ...
Thy Kingdom Come uses Scripture to answer these important questions, and traces God's Kingdom from Genesis through Revelation, highlighting its formation, its laws, its people, and its future. It provides encouragement for Christian living in these latter days. It is a valuable resource in the search for Biblical truth and understanding.

Also, it's the intriguing story of a people, the descendants of the twelve tribes of Israel, that escaped from their Assyrian captors in 600 B.C. Christians are puzzled today that AMERICA, the greatest nation in the history of the world, is not mentioned in Bible prophecy. This book presents the reader with the keys to understanding prophecy, and demonstrates that the Old Testament prophets had much to say about AMERICA and ITS PEOPLE.

You will learn America's true role in politics, world affairs, Christian living and lifestyles, and a true biblical treatise on some questionable modern church doctrines.

Important: This book was first released under the title Tracing The Ancestors Of Great Britian And America, the newly expanded and edited version has become Thy Kingdom Come - America. Still has all the same great information as Tracing ... with added commentary and Scripture addressing these times.

"To Be a Jewish Woman" is a beginner's guide to the ideas and building blocks for becoming more observant. It touches on all the major issues: women's mitzvot, separate prayer for men and women, modesty, family purity. It will NOT tell you exactly how to keep the laws, for example, this is not the definitive source on kashrus or family purity. Read it with an open mind. Much may offend you, but there is much to learn. An excellent companion book is "To be a Jewish Feminist."

An AWESOME book for Jewish women.

When I began exploring Judaism, having grown up as a secular Jew, I had issues with what I thought were Judaism's conceptions of Jewish women. As an independent, educated and vocal person, I was nervous about entering into a society that I thought wouldn't support the kind of woman I am. Boy, was I wrong. Thanks to this wonderful book, I was able to learn how Judaism REALLY approaches women.

This book gave me the "permission" to continue on my quest to live a full Jewish life, knowing that women are respected and even revered in Judaism, and that all the traits of power and strength that I had, were a big thumbs up in Judaism, not the opposite.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about women in Judaism, to any woman who is looking to love Judaism and fully join her people.

Do yourself a favor - read this book.

The father of Hassidism the saintly Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov along with his foremost student Rabbi Dovber of Mezhirech present in this book, a clear concise manual containing basic guidelines for the service of The Divine.

Discussions of prayer and communion with G-d and how to reach greater levels in these areas and the steps to take in order to deal with the many disturbances and obstacles preventing their attainment are frequent in the text. The book also portrays a deep and penetrating understanding of the human condition in respect to its draw towards evil and provides practical advice through which it may be overcome and channeled for more productive and positive living . Being rendered in non-sophisticated terms makes this book very readable. Annotated by a foremost Torah scholar and Professor of Philosophy Rabbi Jacob Immanuael Schochet makes comprehension of the material richer and more simple for the average reader. The importance of such an accurate guide to the fulfillment of G-d's will is beyond measure. And thus every Synagogue, Jewish Library and Jewish home will benefit greatly from this masterpiece of Jewish literature.

Tzava'at Harivash: The Testament Of Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov is expertly translated and informatively annotated by Jacob Immanuel Schochet, an acknowledged authority on Jewish philosophy and mysticism. One of the earliest Chassidic texts, Tzava'at Harivash is the first complete English rendition of a classic work that has formerly had only individual pieces and excerpts translated. Emphasizing the path to achieving joy and equanimity while keeping oneself free from the deadly barbs of pride, vanity, and other facets of evil that impede one's service to G-d, Tzava'at Harivash explores means to achieve transformation of the Jewish soul, thought, and experience through a spiritual search for the meaning of existence. As profound and inspirational today as it was three hundred years ago.

A Guide to Understanding the Israel-Palestine Conflict
Helpful Votes: 3 out of 4 total.
Review Date: 2000-06-09
Turning Water into Politics is an excellent general survey of the Israeli - Palestinian conflict with particular emphasis on the fundamental problems of water allocation in an area with a limited supply of water. It includes a review of the factors leading to the creation of the state of Israel, the 1967 war and the resulting continuing tensions in the Middle East.

I was impressed by the author's objectivity in presenting a detailed review of the economical, technical and political positions of both sides of a very intractable situation. I was encouraged by the concluding chapter, which provides an detailed analysis of possible strategies for resolving the fundamental problems dealing with water use in the Middle East. This book provides a timely, comprehensive and well-written basis for understanding the almost daily news reports of the ongoing negotiations involving this explosive situation.

Informed, Balanced Account of the Water Issue

Review Date: 2000-06-05
The result of several trips to Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, more than 70 interviews with Israelis and Palestinians, meticulous and careful research, this book is "must" reading for those interested in the conflict between the Palestinians and the Israelis. It examines just one point of contention, water, but makes it clear that this resource is in very short supply for both peoples, and is inequitably distributed between them. It also lays out in considerable detail the water crisis of catastrophic proportions which both peoples face.

The book is accurate and informed, clear and well-written, scrupulously documented, and always fair to both sides. It reads easily, eschews jargon, and has just enough technical information to substantiate the arguments of the author. Whether one is interested in water and environmental issues, the domestic politics of Israel, or the struggle and negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis, this book can be read in order to get a broad understanding of facts and issues.

The author's argument is that politics has caused the conflict between the two peoples, not water, and politics will resolve the conflict, but in order for this to take place there must be enough water for all, and it must be equitably distributed.

The destiny of the United States of America in light of biblical prophecy

It is utterly impossible to believe that the greatest nation in the history of the world, unique in its origin, begun upon the principles of Christ and the laws of God, is not mentioned in the Bible. Rev. F.E. Pitts knew that numerous prophecies told of the rise of a great Christian-Israel nation in the latter days, and he delivered an amazing sermon before the United States Congress in 1857 concerning this very subject. Very inspiring! Other relevant books on this important subject are Stone Kingdom by Raymond Capt and The Light and the Glory (true history of America) by Peter Marshall Jr.

USA IS in the Bible... Very Enlightening

Review Date: 2005-09-08
Did Christ know of this North American Continent? ... Sure he did. Did He know this great nation would be Christian from its beginning? ... Of course he did. Is it possible that this nation, the greatest Christian super power of all time, known to Jesus Christ, was never mentioned, indicated, or foretold in the Bible?

Many Christians today have not been exposed to what our forefathers believed and understood. Whether through God's purposeful blindness or due to modern-day revisionists intense desire to rewrite our Christian American history, the fact remains, we have lost our true identity, our heritage, our Israel roots. It's time our people awakened from their sleep and learn not only their true history but also their destiny that is unfolding, even now, according to God's Divine Plan.

This book clearly shows that America (Zion) is the land set aside by God Almighty to be the place of regathered Israel. Sermons and documents by the Founding Fathers testify to their belief that they were the Israel people of the latter days, and that the Old Testament prophecies were being fulfilled in their undertakings. It would be wise for us who are living in these last days to take a closer look at the past generations of our great nation to relearn what they knew about America's critical role in Bible prophecy.

This book presents an amazing sermon by Rev. F. E. Pitts of Nashville, Tennessee to a joint session of Congress in 1857 (four years before the Civil War) in which he named the UNITED STATES as the last great power (Stone Kingdom of Daniel 2). He offers scripture after scripture proving that America is The New Jerusaleum (Zion) spoken of by the prophets to be established before the return of Christ. Furthermore, he educates us on our responsibilities during this wondrous time in history.

The last half of the book contains excerpts from Our Great Seal and Abrahamic Covenant by E. Raymond Capt, noted Christian author, archaeologist, and historian. With the advantage of living in this latter time, he is able to shed additional light on this subject not fully known by our early American ancestors.

The seals, spoken of in Daniel 12:9, are rapidly being removed by God confirming the fact that we are truly living in the last days. What a sobering responsibility we have as his "light bearing" servant people!

Our pilgrim fathers
called themselves the "Seed of Abraham," "God's Servants," "Children of Jacob," "His Chosen." They built our nation upon the laws of God and the teachings of Christ, and it became the greatest nation in history!

Remarkably beautiful photographs

I have lived in the Holy City of Jerusalem for thirty years. But Steven Brooke gives in his remarkably beautiful photographs his own special way of seeing it. He does not see and photograph the people of the city but rather its great historical religious sites. And he does this often through panoramic vistas , striking and surprising.
I would have preferred that he focus a bit more on the Jewish sites. I would also have loved to see his visions of the new city, the city outside the walls. But he focuses on the religious monuments of the three monotheistic religions, and shows them in a way which create a certain wonder.
To really know Jerusalem I would certainly supplement this book with those that contain images of its people and daily life.
But this book is a special treasure a real delight to the eyes and the soul.

I've been interested in learning about the Jewish Diaspora into India for a while now and have done a little research on the internet but the websites did not provide me with as much information as I wanted. Finally I found out about this book and it gives a really great accoount of the Jewish-Indian groups-Bene Jews of West India, Cochin Jews of Kerala and the Middle Eastern Jews in cities like Delhi and Calcutta. It gives detailed account on how the arrived in India and how lived there with their neighbors and colonial rulers. The book also deals with how Zionism and Indian independence were both exteremely importatn to Indian Jews and how they were torn between these two philosphies because of their emergence to the mainstream at the same time.

Jews of India: A Happy Diaspora
Helpful Votes: 18 out of 19 total.
Review Date: 2002-11-13
Not many know that the Jewish diaspora reached India two thousand years ago. Although the size of the Jewish diaspora in India was always small, it invites study because its history of sustained harmony sharply contrasts the Jewish diaspora in Europe, a history of periodic horrors.

It's fitting that the University of California Press is the publisher of the first comprehensive scholarly study of all three of the Jewish communities in India. It was a UC Berkeley professor of history, Walter J. Fischel, who pioneered the study of the Jews in India in his 1962 article, "Cochin in Jewish History: Prolegomena to a History of the Jews in India," published in The Proceedings of the American Academy for Jewish Research. Inspired by his article, several monographs soon appeared on each of the three Indian Jewish communities.

In the introduction to this truly engrossing book, Nathan Katz writes: "Indian Jews lived as all Jews should have been allowed to live: free, proud, observant, creative and prosperous, self-realized, full contributors to the host community. Then, when twentieth century conditions permitted they returned en masse to Israel, which they had always proclaimed to be their true home despite India's hospitality. The Indian chapter is one of the happiest of the Jewish Diaspora."

The three Indian Jewish communities have a distinct history: the Cochin Jews arrived as early as the first century; the Bene Israel Jews of greater Bombay arrived, they claim, 1600 years ago; and the Baghdadi Jews of the port cities of Bombay and Calcutta arrived in the middle of the eighteenth century.

The largest section of the book is on the Cochin Jews. The connection between Cochin and the Jews goes back to the time of King Solomon (992-952 B. C.): teak, ivory, spice, and peacocks were exported to Palestine. The Cochin Jews claim their ancestors arrived in Shingly, near Cochin, on the southwest coast of India in 72 A. D., fleeing the destruction of the second temple by the Romans. They were allowed to settle in Cochin by the local maharaja, where many of them prospered as merchants, government officials and soldiers. Katz quotes from Mandelbaum's article in the Jewish Journal of Sociology: As late as 1550 "the Raja of Cochin refused to fight a battle on Saturday because on that day his Jewish soldiers would not fight; and they were the best warriors he had raised." Katz comments: "Probably India is the only country on earth so civilized that in war, out of deference to its esteemed Jewish soldiers, no battles were fought on the Sabbath."

The Bene Israeli community, which numbered 50,000 before emigration to Israel, 90 percent are gone to Israel, claims its origin to some sixteen or eighteen hundred years ago, they say, "when their ancestors were shipwrecked on Indian shores.... They came as refugees from persecution and political overthrow." Katz dismisses this as pseudo-history without elaborating. The Bene Israel divided themselves into subcastes: Gora, or White, and Kala, or Black.

On the harmonious history of the Jewish diaspora in India, Katz analyzes: "A crucial distinction between India and the rest of the Diaspora, however, is that in India acculturation is not paid for in the currency of assimilation. By acculturation I mean fitting comfortably into a society while retaining one's own identity, whereas by assimilation I mean that the loss of that identity is a perceived condition for acceptance. The study of Indian Jewish communities demonstrates that in Indian culture an immigrant group gains status precisely by maintaining its own identity. Such is the experience not only of India's Jews, but also of local Christians, Zoroastrians, and recently, Tibetan Buddhists. This striking feature of Indian civilization is reflected by each of these immigrant groups."

Although Katz is right in ascribing Hinduism's acceptance, even encouragement, of differences, I would point out that the Hindus extend hospitality to the outside groups to the extent that the outsiders refrain from proselytizing Hindus. For example, Christian missionaries are vigorously opposed by most Hindus. Even Gandhi was completely against Christian missionaries in India: "If I had the power and could legislate, I should stop all proselytising.... It is the deadliest poison that ever sapped the fountain of truth." The major cause of conflict between the Muslims and the Hindus for more than a thousand years has been the Koranic injunction to convert all infidels and to slay those who refuse [Koran, 9.5]. Unlike the Muslims and Christians, the Jews in India never engaged in proselytizing activities. The greatest of the Jewish strategies for living and prospering in India lay in what the Jews did not do!

As part of the project for writing this book, Nathan Katz, professor and chair of Religious Studies at Florida International University, interviewed many people in India and in Israel to provide the reader an understanding of "how these two great and ancient civilizations, Indic and Judaic, interacted within the very being of India's Jews.

In Calcutta, Norman Nahoum, one of the small number of Baghdadi Jews who remain in India, tells him: "We are taught to abhor idolatry to prevent its assimilation into Abraham's family of religions, but if you look closely you will see that Judaism and Hinduism have so much in common. In India, we are accepted totally, at the same time we are treated with kid gloves, like special guests." Referring to Hindus, Nahoum says, "These people are civilized; the others are barbarians, bent on proselytization. If you ask any Jew who has lived in India, from Cochin to Calcutta , you will find that although the Hindus are called idolaters, they are more accepting of Jews than those so-called new religions that grew out of Judaism." In Cochin, interviewees tell him: "Anti-Semitism doesn't exist in our Indian dictionary."

Katz has written a heart-warming, scholarly book on the Jewish diaspora India.
