CAD and CAM Books

Great Book! The best one I've tried so far. Very useful and easy to read and understand.

Very well written, very deserving of an initial glance

I would like to know if this book has been updated to a Rel 14 or Rel 2000 edition. Currently I feel the contents have been well organised looking at the TOC but I do not have a chance to read through this book.

The book is very thurough. I would like to see a book containing tutorials in order for students like myself to apply program commands/options for a more complete learning process. Instructors and students would greatly benefit from this type of study tool. Also the 30 day trial program did not enable me to use Layers portion of program.

This is an excellent resource for anyone who has previously tried to utilize other "beginner's manuals" on AutoCAD and have been confused or overwhelmed. It is a step-by-step guide written in simple terminology with pictures! My kind of to-the-point without the extemporaneous info!

The book came in a timely manner and matched the description the seller gave.

I couldn't have asked for a better deal.

It has been said that some of the best text books written will out of print in within a few years--I certianly would be very disappointed if that happened to this book!! I found this book to be the most helpful I have seen on this subject. The book walks you thru the miriad of commands and explains them very will. I like the hands on approach and this book certainly accomplishes that. Although the author covers alternate commands to accomplish the same ends ("Varations on a Theme")--and explains them well, but at times a little "wordy".
I recommend this book to anyone starting out learning Autocad LT (like me).

I AM AN ENGINEERING MANAGER, NOT A FULL TIME AUTOCAD USER. I FIND THAT I CAN STILL MAKE PROFITABLE USE OF AUTOCAD LT BECAUSE USING THIS REFERENCE BOOK I CAN READILY AND EFFICIENTLY GET "UNSTUCK" WHEN I RUN INTO A PROBLEM.

Great quick reference guide for AutoCad. I bought this book for my wife who is an architect/interior designer. In her words " I am glad I have this book. Its easy to look up whatever I need and handy enough to carry around to work". She not wants me to check if they have a book for Photoshop and Illustrator that she can have at her workplace
