Whether interested in joining Army , Marine, Naval, or Coast Guard, the DOD has it all here. Any person studying Masters, PhD areas of the current issues of terrorism, or civillians in capacities can understand why we do what we do in crisis.Aviatior or a skilled Master in the Field, or just plain interested in what we do if... this is accurate, interesting, educational reading.

If you want to kiss your boss good-bye, this book could be your ticket to a home-based business. Lots and lots of examples of possible home-based activities are included along with stories of real people from across the county who have their own businesses, from accountants to zen instructors. Susan and Fred are warm and friendly and really seem to enjoy passing on ideas that help the small business newcomer get started. I found the book to be realistic; Susan has an MBA and Fred is a psychologist. I'd recommend this book for anyone who wants to be free.

The guidelines are helpful and easy to follow, and there are lots of examples to help you envision your resume as a finished product. It gives you insight into the way hiring managers think, and offers current views of what employment managers want to see in today's resumes.

This book is cleverly organized and includes humorous anecdotes and cartoons that let the applicant know not only what to do, but also what not to do when applying for a job. The information is up-to-date and, by discussing everything from appropriate dress and the importance of proofreading your
resume to understanding voucher programs and unions, the authors have made certain that no aspect of the job search is overlooked.

This book tells of my personal, 28 year journey in Corporate America from Los Angeles to Atlanta to Chicago and back to Atlanta. In each professional position, I was the first African American hired, and I experienced the type of racism and sexism during the 60's, 70's, and 80's that, unfortunately, many women and minorities still experience today.

My book deals with the situations in which a single woman finds herself, the changes that a married woman must deal with, and the challenges of the working and traveling mother.

I am extremely proud of this, my first book, because it won for me the Georgia Author of the Year in the area of Nonfiction. My publisher was so pleased that I was asked to write a sequel detailing how I overcame the racism and sexism. That sequel was Beyond Limitations, and it is based on self-esteem, success, and sustenance.

I have discovered that women and minorities easily identify with the experiences I discuss, but white males have said that the book has helped them to understand what women and minorities have to contend with. If the book makes them better managers and coworkers, I am grateful.

Witt's book is the best of its kind -- it illuminates the history and legal developments of the turn-of-the-century modern factories and their beleagured workers with stories of the historical players, the thinkers, and the judges and legislators. Witt is accessible to all and I have not stopped thinking about the book and its significance to today's tort laws since.

This is one of the better guides on interview questions that I have seen. The book is very large, and filled with a large variety of questions that an interviewer might ask. The book has general questions that would be asked in any interview, and then it has sections for specific careers. Adams also spends a great deal of time talking about interview preparation, what to do if your nervous in an interview, along with many other ideas for interviewing and its preparation.

One selling point I feel this book has over other similar books, it that after the question, it explains the motivation for the question, and then gives suggestions for solid answers. Going through this book, should leave you well prepared and you should not be caught off guard with questions that can be asked. The book also covers illegal questions that employeers may ask. While sometimes they ask out of ignorance of the law, Adams suggests very tactful ways to handle these answers.


His book also gives you tips and guidelines on follow up letters, interview techniques, and much more. This book really delivers on making sure that you are prepared for a job interview. He gives so many sample questions that you will not be surprised when questions are asked. I feel this book is well worth the time spent reading

This book gives you the four most important points of view about affirmative action: libertarian, contractarian, utilitarian and egalitarian. It has various approaches and I found it extremely usefull in my researches about this controversial topic.

I am a student of Dr. William Leiter and he does some amazing work. He is truly a great political mind of our time. If you have any interest in affirmative action, this is the tool you need to study it!
