A Very Useful Book!

This book is the most useful book on cleaning I have read. The author owns a cleaning business and shares tips on how to very efficiently and effectively both clean and de-clutter your home. He also discusses ways to keep the house from getting dirty to start with. I've used his tips for years now and have just re-read my copy of this and refreshed my memory [and got even more ideas!].

The author also writes very humorously, so it is an easy and fun book to read. Nothing too heavy but full of great ideas and suggestions. He is writing to an older generation perhaps, his ideas about housewives seem a bit out of date, but otherwise it is an enjoyable and extremely helpful book.

Another great one from Don Aslett

I always enjoy reading Don Aslett books. He is an excellent writer with a keen ability to keep the reader interested while imparting cleaning and organization wisdom. Having owned and managed businesses I thought I knew quite a few professional secrets, but Don was able to teach me even more secrets and give me the little push I needed to step things up a notch. One thing I find quite funny is that he only mentions wearing shoes while cleaning once in the book, which is so important, even at home. It can save you from slips, plus your feet will not be tired at the end of the day if you wear proper shoes. However he mentions time and time again to use a lambswool duster to remove cobwebs. I found that to be enduring and cute as obviously cobwebs are a pet peeve of his.

This book is ideal for people wishing to do a better job cleaning their house in less time, semi-professional and professional cleaners, as well as those looking to enter the cleaning business. The final chapter is so eloquent and from the heart it made the book worth so much more than just a cleaning book. Filled with humor, wisdom, and tried and true cleaning methods, this book is sure to delight all readers who care about a clean environment.

One thing I should add is that there is a newer edition of this book. For the few extra dollars, I would recommend the newer version for more up to date information.

If you've ever wondered how to remove a stain, clean your carpet, or de-lime your shower, it's because you don't have this book. I bought Aslett's book a few years ago and still keep it handy as a reference guide to cleaning procedures. His recommendations on getting the house to clean itself have saved me hours of housework.

Yes, yet another five-star review of what is quickly becoming a Christian classic. In addition to this being a collection of sermons, it also contains personal letters written by Dr. Lake as well as testimonies of those healed. It is the most complete book of its kind, giving insight into real Holy Ghost life via historical documentation and story-telling. Understanding the truths in this book will help you distinguish between traditional, lifeless religion and the true power of Jesus Christ - the power that is to be demonstrated so that our faith will not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

I borrowed this book from a friend and realized I wanted my own copy. This is not a quick read of Lake's sermons, but a book one has to really think about and absorb the truth he expounds on from the Word of God. Excellent resource for a ministry student, minister, or devout Christian.

As a homeschool mother I am intensely selective of the materials chosen to be curriculum. This book is required reading for all my children.

It is annointed. What else is there to say?

I highly reccommend it to all who love CHRIST JESUS as it was written by one of the most sincere, committed, and successful Christians who ever lived...a man who followed Christ and fulfilled JESUS's OWN WORD
"They that believe in ME, the works that I do, shall they do also..."

This book is nothing short of amazing. Why? Because John G. Lake was such an amazing man of faith and action. I can't recommend this book enough. It has it all. Amazing powerful testimonies of faith for healing, boldness to stand up against unbelief, honesty to admit when wrong, a desire to walk in integrity, and sermons that encourage the reader to take bigger and bigger steps of faith. I could feel faith rising up within me. Page after page of the miraculous. It will challenge the reader to approach his faith in an entirely new way. This book has helped me redefine my approach to christianity. I'll truly never be the same. Never again will I allow my unbelief to limit what God can do. Personally, this book is an answer to prayer. I am reading the Bible with an entirely new outlook and level of faith. What happened in the New Testament can happen today!!! I truly believe this book is annointed. Read it!! You'll never be the same.

Wonderful medium-sized sample of Lake's messages.

First, let me say a big God bless you to Kenneth Copeland Ministries. They're the publishers of this book.

Basically there are three main collections of Lake's sermons out there, all three classics in their own right. First and foremost, there's Robers Liardons 1000+ page collection entitled "John G. Lake: The Complete Collection of His Life Teachings" (ISBN:1577780752). I strongly recommend that everyone get this collection! It's chock full of the most wonderfull messages you could ever want to read.

Then there's "John G. Lake Sermons on Dominion over Demons, Disease & Death" by Gordon Lindsay (ISBN:0899850286), a brief but well-done collection at under 100 pages.

And in the middle we have the Copelands' collection at about 250 pages. Again, very well done, but what I'm getting at is, if you're anything like me, you'll fall head over heals reading Lake's sermons. The Copelands' or Lindsay's books will only serve as appetizers for Liardon's collection.

Save money and time. Go straight for Liardon's. You'll be glad you did.

Each chapter is a short story of life as lived in the 1950's by me, the author. It is a book that will bring tears, laughter, and warmth into the heart of the reader as stories of our family's love for one another unfold during a time that is gone forever. I have put together this book from columns I wrote for the Mustang News for three years beginning in 1993. The book is the result of patrons' request after the columns ceased. My hope was to instill in all readers--both old and young--the memories I have of a time when family values were top priority, and a dream that one day, they might be like that again. I hope the book will cause you to celebrate life, families, and God. --Molly Lemmons

I guess growing up during the 40s and 50s in a blue collar family was a universal experience! At least, even though I grew up on a farm on the West Coast, the stories of this family touched my memories. Very definately a "Christian" orientation. The stories made me smile and remember back to a simplier time of life in middle America.

Reading this book transported me to the 1950's, and I relived many of those experiences. For readers who are old enough to remember, this book is pure nostalgia. For younger readers, it will give you an idea of what life was like in the "olden" days of mid-20th century United States...and, yes, such families DID exist. I was a part of one of them! It makes you wonder whatever happened to the innocence and unsophistication of childhood, parents who were good and decent, teachers who cared and inspired, entertainment which was happy, fun and maybe even uplifting, role models who were worthy of emulation. Since each chapter is a complete story in itself, this book is easy to read--a great book to keep in the car or the bathroom! And it is the perfect gift for any occasion.

I purchased this book direct from Molly at our high school reunion during the summer, 2003. I knew Molly in high school and remember her as always of high moral character, always happy and fun to be around. I did not know her family but was certain that she came from a fine Christian home.

When I began reading her book, I quickly found out why Molly was the type of person I had known previously. What a great family background she grew up in, as characterized in her book. Each chapter got better and better, and once I started reading the book, I finished it quickly, always looking forward to the next chapter. After each chapter, she wrote a thoughtful paragraph and a corresponding Bible verse, each very meaningful and thought-provoking.

I liked the book so much that I purchased a dozen copies to give to friends. As soon as that supply is gone, I intend to purchase more. I sincerely recommend this book as one of the best I have ever read.

Thank you, Molly, and best wishes always!

Molly Lemmons' 'Kind of Heart' is devoted to simple people, their life ,family traditions and family values which are common for most of us wherever we live. The book sounds like a diary- and who of us didn't start writing a diary in the childhood? The details and places may differ from country to country but the main remainds. Following Molly we remember our own early years, our parents' warmth and love, smoothless relations with sisters and brothers, sometimes very close, sometimes rather sharp and jealous as we were fighting for parents' attention. At the background of the crime, violence and cool sex that overload modern screen and literature Molly's kind heart helps to remain human being and be proud of this.

Kiss of a Dolphin
By Tom Tuohy
Founder of Dreams for Kids
Lumen-us Publications© 2006
ISBN 978-0-9787788-8-0

When I first picked up Tom Tuohy's book "Kiss of a Dolphin" I did not realize that I would be swept into a magical world where miracles happen and dreams come true. No, this is not a fairy tale.
Every disabled or poverty stricken child or adult who has been drawn into that world would soon learn the same thing - anything is possible. Through Tom's organization "Dreams for Kids" literally thousands of these people have found dignity and hope for a better, brighter future. This book includes stories of the unimaginable courage of the various disadvantaged people, whose only desire is to be like everyone else. It also tells of the many outstanding folks who came to their aid to give them the love and encouragement to overcome their limitations. In a cycle of giving and gratitude, those same people in turn wish only to give back what has been so freely given to them. If they can do it is there any excuse for the rest of us?
Kiss of a Dolphin is superbly written and will inspire you to be a better person - a dolphin that senses need and jumps into unchartered waters without even being asked and without concern for the consequences - just for the chance to change someone else's life for the better. This book will make you reassess where true joy in life really stems from - the joy of giving your heart, mind and soul to help someone less fortunate. It will challenge you to seek out opportunities in your own life and neighborhood to extend your hands and heart to someone in need.
I put this review away and thought I was finished. Not so. There's something else that needs to be said. After reading this book, I felt a profound mixture of loss, sadness and gratitude. The loss from all the years when I was able bodied and could have done more. Sadness for all of those whose lives I could have touched but didn't; gratitude for my wonderful family members who go out of their way to ensure that I, now disabled myself, never need for anything.
I realize that although I helped people here and there throughout my life, there is much more I could have done. Now I regret passing by countless opportunities that could have drastically changed another person's life. Don't let this happen to you. Become a dolphin - with that inner sonar to recognize when and where you are needed. Your reward will be in knowing that you made a difference.

When you purchase a copy of this wonderful book, know that all profits from book sales go back into the Dreams for Kids foundation.

Thanks to Tom Tuohy's extraordinary, life-long commitment to living a joyful life of service, a beautiful story -- one still in the making -- unfolds in KISS OF A DOLPHIN. As you jump into this journey of seeing the potential in every human being on the planet, you will see your own opportunities to give and receive love. The humor and poignancy and, unfortunately, sorrow, woven through this book make it difficult to put down. Never, in all of my years, have I been so moved by a book. Read this story and your heart will be looking for ways that you too can be a source of joy and inspiration.

I often found myself reading through tears as I turned the pages of "Kiss of a Dolphin" as Tom Tuohy recounts the heartwarming stories of J. J. O'Conner, Jesse White, Father Walter Brennan, and Clara Kirk.

"Kiss of a Dolphin" is the story of Dreams for Kids. It is the story of how ordinary people are making an extraordinary difference in fulfilling the dreams of others. The story moves from the Cabrini-Green area of Chicago, to Chicago's Westside, and to West Englewood, mushrooming into statewide and then national recognition.

Partners in the adventures recounted here include, Jesse White and his internationally acclaimed tumbling team, Father Wally Brennan's ministry in the streets, and Clara Kirk's shelter of hope. Their organizations and individual team members have inspired hope to those entrapped by the cycle of poverty and race restrictions and limitations.

Jim Smith and Dick Marak provided the inspiration and encouragement for J.J. O'Conner to rise above the despair of being a quadriplegic. A lesson learned while swimming with the dolphins at an aquatic facility in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, taught J.J. an important lesson in trust, acceptance, and communication. The kiss of the dolphin changed J.J.'s approach to life and self acceptance. His desire to return something to the community impacted the future mission of Dreams for Kids and became the title of this book.

Tom Tuohy communicates in a convincing, gripping way that draws you into each story producing a strong desire to respond to the need, to become involved and to participate in fulfilling the vision of Dreams for Kids.

"Kiss of a Dolphin" should be read by every individual involved in community outreach, agency program directors, and individuals who have been touched by the underprivileged, poverty stricken, or those physically disabled.

Tom Tuohy provides a message of hope, inspiration, and the challenge to make your dreams a reality.

Winner of 2 Royal Palm Book Awards

Review Date: 2002-11-04
Authors k.t. Frankovich and David Taub were invited to be guest speakers at the Florida Writers Association's 1st Annual convention/Royal Palm Book Awards. It took place from Friday 25th through Sunday 27th, October at the Orlando/Altamonte Springs Hilton Hotel. They gave a one hour Poetry Presentation (on Saturday), which preceded the Royal Palm Book Awards dinner (the Book Awards took place later at 10pm).

125 guests, which included some of the 400 FWA members, publishers, editors, agents, book store reps, etc., attended the entire evening event.

Approximately 150 titles had been submitted, over the past 6 months, for just about every genre of writing imaginable. The 'judging system' had been incredibly carefully devised, whereby copies of submissions were sent out literally all over the US - every judge had no idea who the other judges were, and each one had no connection / relationship to anyone belonging to the FWA - its members or the FWA Board members, Officers, Directors, etc.

The 'scoring system' by each judge, for each book, was also very detailed - a list of criteria requiring a 'rating' for each aspect of the book, effectively giving an overall score book / per judge.

The judging took place over several weeks, and all the rating sheets were then returned to a panel of the Directors, and collated by them PLUS overseen and notarised by an attorney! The collating of each book's scores, alone, took 17 hours! A small number of genre categories had been pre-determined, so that each genre category would have its own award - a Winner and Runner-up per category. THEN, finally, an overall "Best Book of the Year" award.

For the Poetry category, there were approximately 40 books entered. Language of Souls walked away with the category's Best Poetry Book award!

Then, the FWA's President and founder, Glenda Ivey, prior to the Grand Finale of naming the overall "Best Book of the Year" winner, announced that the overall winning book had achieved something wholly unexpected by the 'collating panel' - Namely that, while the overall winner had 'simply' needed to have the highest score of all the entrants, it had achieved a flawless 100% maximum score for EVERY criteria by EVERY judge. And so, this obviously can never be beaten - but only ever equalled - in their future annual book awards.

Frankovich and Taub were stunned into absolute silence, when it was announced that the "Book of the Year" winner was........ Language of Souls.

In a later interview, Frankovich commented, "While we are obviously elated that Language of Souls won this award, what has stunned us the most is that a poetry book out-scored every other genre."

It seems, from reading the other reviews, this is a poetry book spreading around the world. I am sharing my copy with some of my friends and the comments are all the same. "I never knew books were produced like this anymore!" It is like an oasis of beautifully readable poetry in the desert of obscure and esoteric writing, which has pervaded the poetry world over the past decade. I was lucky to find this as a result of reading the autobiography by one of the 3 poets - k.t. Frankovich and her book, 'Where Heavens Meet'.

The book is an excellent resource for anyone who owns a macaw and provides valueable insight to those considering a macaw. Considering it was published in 1996, the information is still practical and worthwhile. I do not agree with the opinion about hybrid macaws but it is minor compared to the vast in-depth reading it provides regarding husbandry, geographical information, physiological information, etc. A must-own for anyone who loves these magnificent birds!

Although three people are listed as being the authors of this book, the impressive list of contributors as photographers, design, consultants, collaborators and acknowledgments goes on for three full pages.

This is a huge book (534 pages with the index starting on page 511) that certainly appears to cover everything about the large macaws that anyone would want to know.

The book is divided into three main parts with several chapters in each part. The first is Aviculture, written mainly by Joanne Abramson, the second is Veterinary Medicine, written by Brian L. Speer and the third is Conservation, written mainly by Jorgen B. Thomsen.

Over 300 beautiful colour photographs are used throughout the book submitted by 77 photographers as well as many detailed drawings by Marsha Mello.

Nutritional analysis charts are provided for nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables and pelleted diets.

It would be much easier to say what is NOT in this book than to list everything contained herein. Other than the fact that there is nothing written by myself, (grin) I could not think of anything else that could have been included here.

This book IS very expensive, but if you have a Macaw - or even if you love Macaws, you should really see if you can get your hands on a copy. I am sure that you will realize that it is worth every penny.

In Nunn's Learn Chess Tactics the exercises are organized by theme. Each section has an introduction where the theme is explained, a few examples are given, and then a series of tactical puzzles organized in order of increasing difficulty is provided.
Most sections, and certainly the most relevant ones (like the ones on pins and forks), provide a wide array of puzzles that ranges from beginner level to challenging (for me at least - a class C player). The solutions are clear and as far as I could see with no omission of major lines. The last section is a very good collection of puzzles of every theme, excellent for training your tactical vision.
The breadth of the themes that are presented not only strengthened my overall tactical vision (and my rating), but helped me pinpoint my blind-spots (for example, troubles spotting possibilities of trapping pieces, or tactical moves that are defensive in nature) and work on them.
I recommend this book without hesitation.

John Nunn's style is one of those we can name moralizing and lecturing. It's helpful in the way that it makes a man think of his / her every move. There's a plan of the game, tactics, strategy, and your personal goal as to the game. The book provides you with lots of information about the opening, middle game and endspiel routine, but the most important is how YOU would like to move in this or that position. You and the book become a union, which then helps you to escape the possible blunders.

One of the best books on tactics.

My young chess player says this book gives a great overview of each chess tactic. It begins the lessons with easy tactics and advances to harder and more difficult lessons rather quickly. A person who has been playing for about a year would find this book helpful. This book is not really for more experienced players. It will help the beginner become a better chess player (if you manage to work through all the exercises). And peeking at the answers without working through the problems won't do the trick.

I have quite a few books on tactics and if I had to start all over again I would start by this book. Not that this book presents a huge collection of problems, which it does not, but because it explains the concepts behind tactic motifs very well.
Each chapter starts with a clear explanation of what the tactic motif is. Quoting: "Like the fork, the discovered attack is a way of creating 2 threats at the same time. Unlike the fork, the discovered attack involves 2 attacking pieces".
After the explanation there are a series of real life examples, mostly taken from GM games, all of them very instructive. Diagrams start very simple with chessbase-style threat arrows, clearly showing the combination principles, and then going into harder and harder to find combinations in diagrams without arrows. Solutions are given with nice verbose explanations, leaving nothing behind if you didn't find the complete solution at the diagram.
The chapter introduction is followed by 50 exercises about the tactical motif. Again, diagrams start VERY simple (I would say beginners level) and slowly migrate toward VERY difficult positions (I would say over ELO 1800). Each problem was picked from real life and has an interesting call (example taken from a Fork exercise: Should Black regain the sacrificed piece with 11...f6 or 11...h6?). Unlike most tactic books, sometimes the combination goal in the harder exercises is only a positional plus or a pawn and I found this particularly interesting. The solution to each exercise is also very instructive for instead a short line Nunn takes time to explain what should white or black have played (sine lines included when the solutions allows it) and the what happened in the tragedy of real life (pretty funny sometimes... just like my ICC games).
Finally, a scramble chapter (66 diagrams with side to move) where you are in the dark and have to found the correct tactical motif(s) and/or combination of them in the correct order.
The book itself is of high quality, as all other GAMBIT books around. So far I could not find a typo or analysis error, the diagrams are of excellent quality and the book biding lets it open easily without leaving pages on the floor. Not the cheapest book around but the book material worths the price.
I give 5 stars for the didactics and quality of the contents. 5 stars for the book itself. 4 stars for the problem collection (as all greedy chess readers, I would love to have a bigger problem collection, specially so well explained as the ones already presented).

If you never studied tactics, pick this book first, then go elsewhere find other problem collections.

As the child of an alcoholic I've found Jill Raiguel's book so helpful in huge ways and little ways. I shifted from feeling lost and damaged to knowing I'm OK. I learned that there are steps to making friends, expressing emotions safely, some of Jill's life skills from the quiz at the beginning of the book. my mom and I have read it together. Its great!

As an active minister of a church and spiritual growth center in Southern California, I have had the opportunity to use Ms. Raiguel's book both in teaching (ministers and practitioners) and in counseling situations. The information is presented in a clear and simple way- so that topics, which might normally be a bit overwhelming within themselves, are more easily received.

I recommend this book to other ministers, counselors and churches. It has become a 'must have' for me.

Life Skills opens doors of communication...

I bought this book for myself and found my 21 year-old daughter had picked it up and was participating in the excercises. That was the beginning of a whole new line of communication between us. We have both been affected by the divorce between me and her father years ago and this book was a key to opening the lines of communication between us after all these years. We were able to deal with some important issues at a level we have never reached before. The life skills exercises are so helpful in providing the element of "action" with learning that was so critical to us.

I urge anyone with unresolved issues to try read this book. I think it would be an excellent resource for teens on up.

My life has been one of grose alcohol abuse from all sides, both parents were alcoholics, both spouses and numerous friends in between. I attracted to me those that would hurt me. Jill's book helped me identify patterns in my life and understand how I was worthy of having a very different life. After reading the book and applying the principles and seeing who I am, my life has soared. My confidence in who I am has been elevated to new levels.... I am complete with me, and it is wonderful.....

I would recommend Jill's book to anyone who has had any verbal or physical abuse from twisted alcholic thinkers. You do not have to stay a victim nor do you need to remain in situations that corrupt your life. Read this book apply the insights to your life and become free to be who you are....You're worth it.

Invaluable Resource All Writers Should Invest In

Finally, here's an all-inclusive, easy-to-understand book about issues of intellectual property, copyright, trademarks, online works, the Fair Use doctrine, contracts, agreements, and more. By using helpful symbols and clearly written descriptions, these legal experts provide, in one volume, a wealth of information critical for authors to know. With a little patience, anyone can understand the information the Evans attorneys provide.

They also cover issues such as privacy, domain names, a brief history of intellectual property law, and information about pending legislation. I found the section on agreements for Publishing, Collaboration, and Licensing especially helpful. I did not realize that each book also comes with a CD-ROM containing sample forms and contracts-an extra added bonus that makes this book an invaluable resource all writers, new and experienced, should invest in. Highly recommended.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Tonya Marie Evans at the Book Expo of America in Washington DC this year and she is a smart, enthusiastic, driven woman. This book should be required reading for anyone wishing or thinking about writing and publishing a book. This book will help you understand the process in plain english. This book clearly explains complicated legal issues, offers examples and answers your questions. This is a book you will want to keep on your desk and refer back to again and again. I recommend this to each person who sends me a book to review or asks me any type of publishing question.

Literary Law Guide for Authors is my 'gold medal'. I treasure this well-written and VERY easy-to-read book! I've written (self-published) a children's book and currently writing a spiritual anthology. In both cases, I desperately needed contract forms and from searching the internet and communicating briefly with the author, I ordered this book. The forms section (in addition to the CD) included every bit of information I needed to create and provide a professional looking contract. I just can't say enough of this book. TIMELY. WELL-WRITTEN. INFORMATIVE.

buy it!!!

Insightful and Effective

Insightful and Effective would be the best two words to describe the advantages of this book. This book lays out literary law in a non-complex way that is very easy to grasp. Dangerous publishing coups could be avoided by implementing all of the book's stratagies when applicable. The details about electronic rights has really enabled me to see the full value of my children's books. Since reading the book, I surveyed many author friends of mine who unbeknownst to them, had signed away valuable electronic rights that their publisher stand to make a bundle on. Also, being told the vast difference between copyrights and trademarks saved me a lot of money that I would have spent needelessly on protecting my products when in fact I had already taken the proper steps. This book takes the paranoia out of negotiating with publishers and has taught me the precious lesson of knowing that everything is truly negotiable, especially when it's your property at stake. I tell everyone I meet about this book.

Certainly a book for the shelf of an author, small business owner who write publications, and infopreneurs!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I think it does a wonderful job of describing the law and legal issues that an author should know about if they are going to take full advantage of their work product. Knowing the information contained in this book will most assuredly help a small business owner who creates publications to market her company and/or to provide herself with credibility. Definitely a must read for any infopreneur, too!

Interestingly the subject matter included in this book is fairly simple on the grand scheme of things regarding the law. I don't remember a course at either of my law schools that focused on this material. There certainly was a course on Intellectual Property, but that subject is larger than what this book covers. That course covers the real meat of intellectual property: Patent Law. Authors don't need to concern themselves with that subject.

My favorite parts of the book were chapters 2 (Copyright), 4 (Fair Use & Permissions), 7 (Trademark), and 10 (A Brief History of Intellectual Property). I'm glad chapters 3, 8, and 12-14 were included, too. Those talked about how to apply for IP protection with the US Copyright and US Trademark offices, as well as basics about the law of contracts and agreements.

I also enjoyed poking around the Net to learn a bit about the author. I only did this because of the way the author wrote her book. She included herself as part of the book's content. She is a somewhat young attorney who has an athletic background and clearly a drive to be a successful entrepreneur. The world would be a better place if there were more women like her.

I would have enjoyed the book more if it had not been ALL law. For example, while it is true that an author gets substantial protection from registering her copyright so she can sue and get damages. Most writings don't merit filing for such protection. I think it should have been pointed out that some writings don't really need the full range of protection, while others certainly do. If I write a 10-page ebook that helps me market my Web site. Do I really care if someone steals that from me? Probably not. But if I write a 170-page booklet that I sell at my seminars and workshops, then I better register my copyright because some real effort went into that publication and my seminars need it for credibility. I'd be at a loss if someone stole it. Things like this could have been included in the instant book being reviewed to make it better. 5 stars!

Very pleasing to the eye, handy daily notes such as which sign the moon is in, color of the day, moon void of course, holidays (pagan and otherwise), of course, historical tidbits (famous pagan birthdays, etc) and others.

I was pleased and surprised that the last several pages of the calendar are dedicated to various "articles" such as herbs, cleansing your home, a table defining the planetary and astrological symbols, and more.

Each month not only has a stunning picture at the top, but to the right side, a column with great info for that month/season, or just tips and reminders of magic to be created!

I adore this calendar, and will be getting another one for 2007!

As mine was given to me as a gift, I would HIGHLY reccommend this as a gift idea for any Pagan you know!

I got the calander the other day and the yearly calanders are always nice, but someone should have done a double check on what was printed. In my calander there is the typical face with the days of the week and the moon phase, etc and next to each of the days of the week is the symbol of the planet that rules over the day. well, all is fine but there is the symbol for saturn next to monday AND saturday when then symbol for the moon should be next to monday. i`m not sure if this is in all the calanders printed or what but its a mistake in atleast some of the calanders.

I love this calendar!

I've gotten this calendar for the last several years, and look forward to getting it each December. It is clear, easy to read, and each month has an interesting article about that month -- its festivals, holy days, or just thoughts on the season. I use it regularly, and recommend it to any Pagans out there who need an attractive wall calendar. Although it's called the Witches' Calendar, that's really a misnomer to me -- it is for more than just the Wiccans among us!

Love it in everyway, visually and informationally !

I am in Australia so the festivals are all turned on their head, but this is not a complaint. I love writing in my southern hemispherical equivalents and I often celebrate both festivals in different ways for both hemispheres.

I love the pictures, ( yep they'll go into frames at the end of the year ) and the information on the pages at the back of each month. I love knowing what the moon is up to without having to work it out, it's just a visual and informational feast. I will definitely get one every year from now on.

Goddess I love being Wiccan !!
