This is an amazing and beautiful book for someone working on personal growth and wanting to bring art into your life.

A great how-to for assessing one's life and deciding what is important and how to bring it back into focus. I especially like the 10% solution/excercise. I am anxious to bring back my creativity and let go of some debilitating energies that keep me from having JOY in my life. This book is very easy to read and follow with meaningful exercises.

This is a great book. Not only doest it the 'core characters' of an acid trip, the book also includes first hand accounts from the subjects in Dr. Janiger's LSD experiments. There is sections of poetry and art created by subject on LSD. Its a pretty awesome book. :)

This is a wonderful inspiring book on the components of a successful happy life!

This book is a must read for managers who need to hire, supervise, and manage creative inidviduals. It explains how to successfully run creative people, who essentially have a different set of unexpected motivations. It is a highly recommended reading for managers of Product Development organizations.

It is a book about thinking, HOW to think better, not what to think. It is about ideas, processes, techniques & methods. It will help you ask better questions, improve sensory & visual input. The authors' intent is challenging the reader's mind, to see each design challenge differently. It is our hope to help the reader refuel, refresh the mind and bring back or intensify the excitement associated with the field of design and creative problem solving.

Maureen Jennings has written a book based upon her years of conducting creative expression groups. The exercises are designed to get your creative juices going. There are samples of creative writing from people who have attended her groups over the past few years. This is the most user friendly of all the books in the genre out there. A welcome addition to the genre.

Marriage Clues for the Clueless offers marriage tips for the newlyweds and for experienced couples. It offers advice on everything from money to children to sex to in-laws, often in a humerous but enlightening way. Marriage Clues for the Clueless explains how to make your marriage strong without children, with children, and even how to deal with the empty nest syndrome.

This is the standard way of training series. It is concise, practical, and useful. It is to the point of the purpose of teaching creativity and problem solving.

This book is not for people who want to learn about creativity.

I feel there is still some lack sense of FUN and FRESHNESS in the approach though.

If you need to teach about creativity and you know a lot already and want an additional material ready to use (or modify as you see fit, bu you need the FRAMEWORK), that this is the right book for you.

Complete with material to copy, why and what about it and some slides (gee, i hv not seen anybody useing slides these days, hope the writer can send me the powerpoint files instead).

It was writen about a decade ago, but it is finely framed out and ready to use on day one (hence comed the 5 stars).

With the more recognation of creativity as an important drive in the corporate world, i think this book will be perfect if modified to suit the time and age of today.

All in all, i still like this book and i will use some of the material incorporate into my training program.

As a consultant and counsellor / therapist I cannot underestimate the value of the use metaphor in influencing, training and learning and this book is a fantastic source for that. It goes with me everywhere. Nick has collected some wonderful, thought provoking and emotional stories that will make you think, laugh, cry and I guarantee it will affect who you might work with similarly. Not only that, but the stories are cleverly woven into an overarching story supported by opportunities to develop different perspectives through the application of two wonderful world theories. Anyone that works with others in developing learning or understanding will gain from this book. It's in my top 5!
