The book explains and deduces mathematically the working principle of many architectures, and presents commented examples (good ones) in structured English (very similar to Pascal). I used it as the basis for many NN's and felt quite satisfied in all cases.

The library provides a good collection of numerical computations, some of which are more robust and better written than the ones offered in Numerical recipies. The book only lists the formulas used and the enclosed CD supplies the software.

It is excellent book.It is well introduction to packages Lapack and Numerical Linear Algebra.Also to Numerical Methods and Analysis.

This book gives a methode for constructing multi-programs bij developing a proof for those programs. It follows the teachings of Dijksta to construct solid programs. The authors have a clear style and a great understanding of the subject.

A collection of very good lectures about online algorithms. It is a very good introduction for the begginers. The articles are written in a logical succession, but they are independent each from other.

This book is an excelent way to introduce yourself to a new area about conceptual understanding by using Ontologies as a tool.

This book explores for the basic outline to a fully operational sytems. The book is very easy to read and explains how to derive and solve complex mathmatical algorithms. For undergraduate to research the book captures methods applied to systems today without babel that is printed in articles. I would recomend this book to any aspects of engineer.

This is a very useful book, especially for beginners in the subject. The essentials from differential geometry and topology are carefully collected and illustrated with the most popular matrix manifolds. The optimization algorithms are considered in great details usually omitted in the research papers. The list of references shows the great variety of areas where optimization on matrix manifolds would be appropriate.

Excellent book. I agree with much of the editorial review. I have found this book very useful for my work in distributed computation. The authors are thorough and exact in their work and rely heavily on matrix and probabilistic methods for their results. If you are into parallel and distributed algorithms, then this is a must have book.

This is a well written book on the topic. Being lucid, it is easy to understand. The topics discussed in the book address core issues in VLSI implementations of image understanding algorithms
