Trivia Books

This book is excellent. Probably you won't find such a complete information and photos in one single "small volume".As a War-Between-The States enthusiast I think the author,-R. Thomas Campbell-, has accomplished his informative objectives.

I saw this charming book featured in the Hartford Courant and bought it to quiz my kids about the state they live in. We have a great time with our question and answer sessions, especially on road trips and travels throughout Connecticut.

Four of us played it last weekend and it was a blast. It's a bargain.

There are a lot of trivia books on the market. Most of them do not live up to their hype or our hope. This book is a happy exception. Peppiatt manages to have it both ways -- it is a fast-moving collection of short, punchy, themed chapters, while at the same time, it goes into some obscure, loving, fascinating detail. It also covers a great deal of ground on the country landscape, from recounting the time Garth Brooks was booed off the stage at an 11th grade talent show; to Ferlin Husky's alter egos, Simon Crum and Terry Preston; to Six Degrees of Red Foley. All in all, it's something any fan of country music will devour, and it just might make a few non-fans want to hear more. Good job!

I am well pleased with the book. My grandson is a Dallas Cowboy fan big time. This was one thing he did not have that he was very pleased to get. Great product. Shipped EXTREMELY FAST!!!!!!!!

This is an excellent book. I would definitly recomend it to anyone who loves the Ripleys museums. This book features pictures of amazing feats attempted by people Ripley encountered during his travells. I found some of the pictures to be amazing, I didn't believe my eyes!

Lighthearted, educational and fun to read, this is an entertaining book. Perfect reading for the bathroom or on the subway.

This book will test your knowledge of the African American music experience. What I like most about the book is that it can be used to entertain as well as read for oneself. It is packed with music trivia questions ranging from Hip-Hop, R & B, Blues, oldies, and Gospel. It's the type of book that you can pull out to test your friends and loved ones. The answers are given in the back of the book which makes for a good game when entertaining. It starts off with easy questions (for some) which gradually gets more and more difficult and challenging. It is rich with information and little known facts that will definetly surprise you. I highly recommend it.

My daughter loves anything that has to do with High School Musical. She received this as a gift on Christmas day and loved it. Matter of fact she was done with it in a day. Even though it didn't take her long to finish it she enjoyed it very much so!
