Great book! You'll find yourself nodding in agreement with all the cute "facts" about kids. Makes a great gift for anyone with kids. Good for "bathroom" reading!

You want to know what p*sses me off? Coming to the last page of this book. Mr Peeved and his assistant, Ed Strnad, managed to tap into my inner b*tch. As I get older, I find myself becoming annoyed by almost everything. If you're like me, pick up a copy of this book, and you'll identify with just about everything in it.

I loved it! I laughed! I laughed again! I'll never be on time for work again

This book is very funny! And even more than that - it's a great thing to read when you're having a bad day...because, as we all know, it could be worse. Some of the days are actually sad ones: "Losing Jeopardy," "Bought Titanic Tickets," etc. Many of them are hilarious. Some of them are Biblical: "Adam and Eve Eat Apple" and "Judgement Day." My favorite day had to be #3: "Hunting With Cheney." I don't care if you like the Vice President or don't like the Vice President..."Hunting With Cheney" was absolutely hilarious.

I got this book from the library, and I can't even count the number of people I have shared it with in the last day on my hands and feet. I shared it with everyone in my family, many of my highschool teachers, and several friends at school. It is just too funny...it's a great book to read out loud in groups - perfect for car trips or parties. Even if you just want to read it by yourself on an airplane, or something, it will take you less than a half hour. It's quick, it's funny, and it gives whole new meaning to the phrase "It could be worse..."

Definitely purchase this book - it is so worth it!

THIS BOOK TAUGHT ME HOW TO MANAGE MY LIFE IN AN INTERESTING WAY. IT TAUGHT ME HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EVERY SITUATION WHILE THE OTHERS WORK AND WORK AND WORK. iT REALLY TAUGHT ME A LOT. I AM HERE SITTING ALONE WHILE THE OTHERS WORK AND WORK AND WORK. ISN'T IT BEAUTIFUL?

All 'Bout Me, an' Arkansas Tail is a hilarious take off on Bill Clinton's My Life. In this story Billy Jeff gets "Bobbitized" by his live-in girlfriend. The funniest part of the story is where he is trying to seduce a nurse while the State of the Union plays on the television in the background. The eerie parallels between Billy Jeff's "come on" lines and the actual State of the Union Address are amazing! If you like the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" and the stand up comedy of Ron "Tater Salad" White and Larry the Cable Guy, then this is the book for you!

Virginia Astley.Cult singer songwriter from the early 80s whose family lived in Moulsford Oxfordshire.The village close to Alice Country which inspired her first album,the perfect soundtrack to Alice in Wonderland.An instrumental album with added SFX such as birdsong and church bells. Titles like A Summer Long Since Past and Summer Of Their Dreams.
Virginia Astley is,in fact,a reincarnation of Alice and not just because that's her middle name.
Her late father was born in Warrington and moved to Grappenhall in the late 40s which is the next village to Daresbury.
Since that first album Virginia was to become known as a singer and many of her songs have uncanny similarities with Wonderland and even the real life Alice. In "Tree Top Club" comes the line "I bought you sweets and comics from the grocery shop" which is paralleled in the early life of Alice Liddell.
So many others:I Live In Dreams,Nothing Is What It Seems,Over The Edge Of The World.
And another parallel in the fact that Virginia Astley was morally sound,and a reminder that "Alice was the most sensible person in a land of freaks" against a description of Virginia Astley as "unaffected by operating in a business not known for many normal people".

Lots of humor books out there but most aren't funny. This one is hilarious -- and the humor is sustained throughout. This is the sort of book you keep quoting to someone ("hey, listen to this") while they're reading their newspaper and ready to kill you. I enjoyed it so much I found it difficult to put it down so I could return to checking my mail on AOL. Paulette Cooper

This book is a great book for those who are expecting. The author is very funny in the way she describes pregnancy and is the perfect baby shower gift. She could be the next Erma Bombeck! Highly recommend!
